I really love this attraction with amazing nature, gorgeous views and a pleasant atmosphere. There are several ways to get to it. One by car, the second on foot on the way to Iverskaya Mountain, do not climb the mountain, but follow the sign, the third way is by cable car from New Athos and a couple of km on foot along an amazing path. When you arrive, there will be a descent into the gorge. To the left, the road to 3 boilers, to the right. Amazing views of the gorge and just a small cafe. If you go to the right, you can climb the rope and walk along the gorge, watching from above. I liked it better in April, when nature wakes up, there are no people and the views are cosmic. I recommend.
We love to wander through beautiful places created by nature, that's why we liked it.We left the car at the fork with the Anakopian fortress and walked 1.5 km.For the descent further looks as if not all wheels will reach the goal.If you don't mind the car or it's big and reliable, you can drive. On the way there are beautiful views, a wonderful gorge, beautiful cliffs. Be careful with the children, there is a steep cliff on the left side behind the bushes, there are no fences. Admission is 200 rubles. There is a cafe on site. The wine is delicious) The place itself is very small. Descent down a steep staircase, a river to the right, 3 boilers to the left. The walking area is 30 meters. It's beautiful, the children ran along the river, caught a crab.In summer, you can swim in the boilers.Although it is noticeably cool in the gorge. There is a rope to the lower boilers. Children of 6 years old will master it without any problems. If you like such places, you should go to Chernihiv.
It is a very interesting place, there are not many people, in the heat, as it was during our visit, it is very pleasant to dip your feet in cool, clean water and wash your face. A beautiful "waterfall" for a photo with a wall of plants such as creepers. More sophisticated tourists should be interested in a walk upstream, we walked about 300 meters, the water was not deep, very beautiful. There is also a cafe in the form of a hut with tables on the street, they did not go in themselves, but on the sign they offered: barbecue and freshly caught trout, I assume that from the same river. I advise everyone, especially in the heat, because it is cool at the bottom of the river in the shade.
Ohhh, such an amazing and exciting place. There aren't many tourists there, but it's so beautiful.😍
Be sure to take a walk around the canyon, it's so picturesque there.
A mythical place, after visiting underground caves, we got here. We took a swim, the water is crystal clear. Natural baths are boilers, which are not easy to get into without skill. A rope is attached, of course, and something like a rope ladder is possible (not everyone has the strength to climb the rope). The boilers are located at the bottom of the river, of course in July we came down here, but during the abundant melting of snow in the mountains, the boilers go under water. Be sure to visit!!!!
I liked the central boiler :)) The rest are smaller. It is extremely inconvenient to get there, the stairs are dilapidated, they charge for the entrance, but they do not want to refine it. Nature, as in many places of Abkhazia, is beautiful! Before the cauldron in which you can swim freely, you will have to go down the rope, and climb the same way. My son and I just jumped into the water, the depth is 1.7- 2 meters. The water is cold, but believe me, it's colder in waterfalls. It is a pity that it is not possible to go down further without equipment, a cliff. The photos are exceptional! To sum up: with very small children (up to 3 years old)- it's definitely not worth going, well, or just looking. Those who have problems with their legs too. The time spent there is small, because the descent and ascent are one, boiler to boiler. They swim too, there are enough people. You won't sit for a long time (there is a canyon on the other side of the boilers, but 450m high.).Entrance to the boilers is 200 rubles, up to 8 years old for free.
A beautiful place in the bed of a mountain river. I swam in the biggest one, the water is super: cool and clean. The entrance at the time of August 2024 is 200 rubles. There is a cafe downstairs, but I do not know if it works.
It is a wild place, but it is a private territory. Entrance fee is 200 rubles. There are steps and a fence of some kind. There is an authentic cafe downstairs. Abkhazian grandfathers make coffee. You can get there by car. Take a swimsuit and comfortable shoes so that they do not slip.
A cool discovery of Abkhazia for us. The most beautiful wild place. I definitely recommend a visit. Although the way here is not easy. Mountain roads winding it is not clear where. We even got lost, because the navigator continued the route along the road, which was washed out in the spring. But all these adventures were worth looking at this beauty. Wild land, wild nature.
If it's hot outside, and you have an irresistible desire to refresh yourself in clean, cool and fresh water, then you definitely need to get here. The most picturesque corner of wildlife.
It energizes and allows you to continue winding kilometers on foot.
However, we still have to get here first.
It's a long walk and all the time in a steep mountain.
But you can't get there by a simple car, you need a UAZ or something like that. But you can arrange to get there with local drivers who are spinning on a nickel near the Museum of Military Glory. They will take you for a not very modest amount.
In any case, it's worth a visit. There will be something to see, take pictures, plunge into one of the boilers again, and then just remember.
I really enjoyed it, but I prefer a fun, not too civilized vacation. Even in summer it is beautiful here: when there is not much water, you can go down the rope to the lower boilers and, if you want, swim. The rest was complemented by an ATV tour at Quadro Pedro, I really liked everything)
The nature is beautiful, but it is not appropriate to charge an entrance fee for 30 sq.m. viewing. A gorge with a mountain river and an equipped terrace for a cafe that was closed in early November.
It's a very interesting place.
You can swim. There is a place to take pictures.
Be sure to try the barbecue!!!
One of the most delicious in Abkhazia!!!
For an amateur. Coolness in the middle of a hot day. A stream flows slowly, flowing from one "pit" to another. You can swim in the cauldrons, it invigorates. I wouldn't go there a second time. Without a car, on foot, it's not worth it, if only for the sake of walking "somewhere".
The descent is very difficult, but when you get to the boilers, they are buried in stone at the bottom of the river, and plunging into them, fills life with new colors. The water is icy. It feels great. There is a cafe nearby, a very tasty barbecue and coffee.
We came here the day before yesterday for free - there was no one at the entrance. three small basins, sequentially located in the gorge of a mountain river. There is a booth with a turnstile at the entrance, a person sitting in it charges money for unknown reasons, for 2024 — 200 rubles per person. Just like Ostap Bender took money near the failure, only here, unlike Bulgakov's business, there are no discounts.
The equipment is a sagging ladder. In order to get to the lower boiler, you need to go down (and on the way back up) on a rope, which is not available to everyone.
There is a cafe next to the boilers, the garbage from which is thrown immediately over the slope. The toilet is a smelly booth in the bushes. In the off-season, for the sake of interest, you can go, a pleasant 3 km long road leads from the New Athos Cave. But to trudge here in the heat of the season to pay for the lack of service is such a thing.
At the exit, we met another couple, they asked if there was anything to watch for 200 rubles, we replied that there was, but only if it was free like us. The sound of the conversation immediately woke up apsua, who was dozing in the booth, who ran straight to the couple who were already standing at the entrance and eventually did not let them in. If you collect money from people for nothing, don't sleep at least during the day. Photos of garbage and a local toilet are attached
People! Don't waste your time and money! Three cauldrons are dry!!! We went by car, first of all we barely passed, the road is very bad!!! We paid 200 rubles per person for admission! An arrogant woman will not let you pass without paying . As a result: there is rotten rainwater in the "boilers", of which there is very little. There are no streams, the view is depressing ! Naturally, no one swims. Apparently the boilers dried up a long time ago . And what did the locals come up with so that people don 't complain about the paid entrance? They stretched out a hose with water and a small trickle of water flows into this gorge , thereby creating the appearance that there is some kind of water here !!! As a result , they came , stood and left . I do not recommend visiting!!! The only thing that is beautiful is the greenery around.
I really liked it, but I like a fun, not particularly civilized vacation. It is beautiful even in summer, when there is not much water, you can go down the rope to the lower boilers and even swim if you want.
The entrance fee is 200 rubles.
The only thing is to hold the children tightly by the hand, in places it is slippery, in places you can kill yourself. But – almost untouched nature.
The road, by the way, is also beautiful, New Athos makes a great walk through the mountains.
Nature is super. The water is cool, but the children and I were diving. The navigator does not always plot the road correctly. But we also reached it on foot.
Don't forget the beautiful place. Nature itself makes such a masterpiece. The only difficult access, the descent itself is very steep. The water is cold.
The place is just 🔥! It is easy to get there by car. The beauty is fabulous! There is an opportunity to swim in the 1st and 2nd cauldron. The water is not that icy. There are 12 degrees.
The place is beautiful, but for those who want to visit there is one piece of advice.
DO NOT PAY FOR ADMISSION. There is a booth there, and it says that the entrance is 200 rubles. So, this is not legal, since the territory is not a nature reserve, and you can just walk through it.
When we passed, a woman came out and started threatening the police, we just walked through and she didn't even try to call anyone.
Nothing like that. Swimming there is not comme il faut, the mountain water is cold. There is a hut downstairs (they sell kebabs, trout and drinks), but very much for an amateur.
It's a long way to go. A terrible collapsed staircase with stakes sticking out. At the bottom of the gorge there are three small puddles and a mountain stream. There is also a small cafe with only trout and shish kebab on the menu. The benches are wet from high humidity and covered with moss. Admission for 2024 is 200 rubles. But there's nothing to see for that money. Don't waste time and money.
It's a very beautiful place. A must-visit. To feel everything, it is better to walk to it. It is possible through the Iverskaya mountain or without climbing, there is a sign on the road.
You can walk along the gorge right along the river and swim.
BUT do not forget that this is a natural place: there are slippery areas, mountains are a special place-respect for them and sobriety will help you.
The place is top, but get around it for free. The locals are freaking out, they sit in a booth and charge 200 rubles for entry just like that. You will see a booth, go forward another 50-100 meters and there will be a convenient ravine on the left, go down there and walk quietly
Why pay the arrogant ones like that
The place itself is very beautiful, but it is not equipped at all. A steep ladder has been made down to the point from which you can see the first 2 boilers, there is also a cafe nearby. But it is impossible to go down into the boilers without good physical training: ropes are simply inserted into the plode, along which you have to climb up and down, resting your feet. You can still go down to the first boiler (the question is whether it is possible to climb up without help, my husband raised me and the children), it is more difficult to get to the second, and no one saw the third except my husband, since the view opens when you go down to the second.
The entrance to the Three boilers is not free - 200 rubles per person.
We swam in the first boiler - the temperature is comfortable, the depth is 1.5 meters. In my opinion, it is worth paying at least for the opportunity to look at 2 boilers from above. Very beautiful!
There is water after heavy rains and in May. It is difficult to get there by car. Entrance is paid. No one wants to see you there... There's not much to see
It's a very cool place. The feeling is unforgettable. You can drive by car all the way to the descent. It's just not very clear on what basis they charge for passage) with the words that this is a private territory.
The most important plus is the coolness after the road in the heat. In July 2024, the entrance price is 200 rubles. Well, at least they don't charge money for parking. It's beautiful, the children liked it.
A wonderful, fabulously beautiful place, but... There is a stall with wine and other related products at the entrance. It says the entrance is 200 rubles. We were paid, they didn't give us any checks or anything else, there are no official documents or signs. It's just that the locals collect tribute in their pockets at a beautiful place. At the exit, the woman from the cash register shouted at us that 200 was not for the entrance, but for each person! (In the Anakopian fortress, where everything is equipped and it is cheaper). I had only 200 rubles with me, I gave it away, and in response I heard a million curses and a stream of dirt. It's a shame, comrades Abkhazians.
Entrance fee is 200rubles. The road is narrow for one car. There's not much to see. The first cauldron is to wet your feet, in the next cauldron there are frogs, in the third - you can take a dip - the water is cold.
My love at first sight. Nature has not yet been touched by man. I was just overwhelmed by emotions. But we must go further along the gorge. All the beauty is there.
It is better to come early in the morning, 200 rubles entrance per person. Cool water and the opportunity to swim. The most beautiful thing is when a small waterfall flows from the first boiler into the second. It is almost impossible to get to the third boiler, there is a cliff. With small children, up to 7 years old, it is better not to meddle.
It's a great place! The purest water, incredibly blue in color. Salvation on a hot day from the scorching sun. We were lucky, on the day of our visit there were only 5 people, one of whom is an employee of the cafe, which is located right there in the gorge. I strongly advise you to try trout on the grill there, it's fantastic!
The entrance costs 200 rubles per person-but it is perfectly clean, no papers, glass and garbage.
We were at the end of May. We paid 200 rubles per person for admission, went down the stairs (the stairs are slippery, you need to go down carefully). Going down the stairs, you run into the river, to the right there is a bridge and a cafe, to the left there is a route, but since the river is full, it turned out to be quite a bit, then, as we were told, we need to grab a rope and cross the river on a slippery bottom. Then the river turns into a small waterfall, so there is no other way to pass. As a result, they did not see the boilers, because they were afraid to cross the river, it seemed very traumatic. Upon returning, they asked for a refund, as they did not see any boilers. They returned only half, saying that this is nature and it's our own fault that we don't want to move.
It's a great place. We were with a child of 7 years old. They got off the first pot and bought it. It is very interesting to walk there and see the surroundings. You can walk up the river in swimsuits and explore everything. There is a cafe, a colorful place. Of course, if there is an accident, then the only hope is for yourself. We got there by solaris.
I recommend you to visit.
We were in April, during the rains, the boilers were full, even too full. It is better to go in rubber boots. The passage is free. No one sits there in such nasty weather. We walked from the city. We went through the upper road, the one that goes through the cafe and the ticket office to the Fortress, there are signs on the road, do not go astray. We returned along the lower road, which is closer to the river, also to the city. The views are beautiful. Cows walk and ring bells (this is so that their owner can find them in these wilds). Fog and clouds swept by, sometimes covering mountains and houses by the river, then disappeared again, and rocks and forests opened up. It's nice to walk at this time of year, it's not hot. In summer, only by car is possible, only the strongest will be able to walk.
We love this place, where we stopped by accident by car. Now we swim there every year. There are huge mini lakes in the rock. There is an extraordinary beauty around!
I wouldn't even go there for free. We were in August 2023.-a ticket for one 200 rubles. It's not clear why at all. The woman at the checkout started being rude when I expressed my dissatisfaction with the result. There were still unhappy people. The good reviews are surprising, apparently someone likes to pay money for nothing. Just a gorge, just a dangerous unfurnished staircase to it, just 200 rubles…
We were here in April , during the full - flowing rivers .
They took money for the entrance, but it did not work out to go down to the boilers (the descent along the riverbed is carried out along a cliff using a rope, but in conditions of a full river it's all in the water, and swimming in a mountain river at this time of year is not a comfortable pleasure)
The bridge to the cafe was washed away and no one thinks to restore it, apparently by the tourist season they will restore it when the river calms down (but they still take money)
In general, to see the boilers at this time of the year you need to swim in the river) what they don't warn you about at the entrance to the ticket office.
This is a very atmospheric place!! Coming down from the heat into such a cool and gentle twilight)) there is water in the Boilers only after rains. If it hasn't rained for a long time, then there's almost nothing to do there. But after the rain, the water fills small deep pools and you can swim in them))
I highly recommend going to the cafe after swimming, which is also located there. A wonderful barbecue and fish cooked here will give you new strength))
