I visited the hotel in June 2024.
Among the advantages: a hotel without children, friendly staff, good room and food. I booked a room and, accordingly, got the main building: side sea view, very nice design and rooms and bathrooms. It's an allergy sufferer's dream: no velour, carpets, heavy dusty curtains (there were curtains, but not dusty), laminate flooring, a bed made of wood and leatherette, an orthopedic mattress, only pillows (solid for me) were pumped up. The food is varied, the service in the restaurant is good. There are enough places. The evening animation program is average. There are hotels on the boardwalk with better stages and equipment: professional aerialists performed there. During the day, the hotel entertained: darts, yoga, aqua jim, etc. There is a gym and a small indoor pool.
The biggest disadvantage of the hotel is the beach. The sun beds stand under long canopies, close to each other: you lie down and smell the smells of a friend from the next row. The main contingent is Germans and Poles. There is a lot of smoking on the beach. Entering the sea is sand, but as soon as it gets a little deeper and you start swimming, a rock appears, you can injure your feet. We walked 200-300 meters to the right to another beach, where the bottom is without surprises.
The hotel is 600 meters from the promenade to the old town. You can walk along the beach or across the street. Near the Carrefour hotel, there are several pharmacies, a lot of ruins with clothes, shoes, etc.
The Side coast is well suited for families with children, the elderly and people with musculoskeletal problems. The water in the sea is warm. In the first days, it was almost like in a Jacuzzi, then it got a little fresher. Muddy. The sand is fine, brownish in color, like mud. It is very shallow everywhere, there are no sudden changes in depth.
We had a rest in April, out of season. We were lucky with the weather, we swam both in the pool and in the sea. We lived in the main building. Side sea view. The hotel is comfortable, mostly Germans come out, there are few Russians. There are no children. The territory is compact and well-maintained. Beautiful landscaping. Excellent unobtrusive animation both in the afternoon and in the evening, guest artists perform. You can walk along the promenade to the old town. The room is clean, spacious, in a stylish modern design, equipped with everything you need: air conditioning, kettle, refrigerator, packed with free tea, coffee, Cola and other soft drinks. The service is impeccable. The rooms are cleaned daily, of high quality. The reception is customer-oriented - the room was changed immediately, upon first request (upon check-in, we got a room for the disabled, upon request to change the room, we were immediately relocated). The service in the restaurant and pool bar is beyond praise: the waiters are friendly and friendly, they serve alcoholic and soft drinks at the tables without waiting, it doesn't matter if you are German or Russian, you leave a tip or not; they determined our tastes and preferences and served us the appropriate drinks (white wine in the restaurant, beer by the pool). The food is the tastiest and most diverse: fish, including dorado, meat, including lamb, poultry, including turkey, seasonal fruits - strawberries, etc., sushi, salmon with low salt, shrimp, honey in honeycombs, vegetables, herbs, various cheeses and sausages, all kinds of snacks and sweets. In general, it's a glutton! The Germans are cultured, calm, behaved extremely modestly and quietly. Alcohol from morning to night in the lobby bar. The rest is great! We would definitely come back here, it would be like in paradise.
The hotel is cozy, compact with a nice orchard. Friendly and hardworking staff.Chefs perfectly prepare national dishes on the grill. The hotel is very much loved by German families with children. Animation is sharpened for Germans and German children. At dinners in the restaurant, there was a lack of space. But in general - a good "German" hotel.
