We were a family in June 2019.I really liked it! We've met everyone! A very friendly, friendly team.Animation is trying, they love children very much, they are kind! The rooms are clean, cleaning every day, there is no theft! The food is monotonous, but delicious, you will not stay hungry, we were 12 days, we took different things every time.Of the 3* hotels in this area, the best and cleanest and this is not only my opinion, many of the guests who were in Topkapi Beach, some return there again! It was a pity to leave....Thanks!

We rested in mid-October, the weather is changeable, the wind and sometimes the sea is stormy. The water is warm. As for the hotel, those who love luxury holidays, the hotel is not milking you :) it is simple, small and cozy. It's quiet here, there are a lot of families with children and the elderly. the rooms are cleaned, but I would not say that it is super clean, the food is monotonous, basically the same thing every day, but if you do not cling, then it is acceptable. The beach and the sea are clean, you have to pay tribute here!) The beach boss is watching this!))) and the sunbed will always bring and wish you a good morning. The sand is clean, white, and soft. We have been to other beaches along the line, we have the cleanest!)
Animator Simo is a cool guy, sociable, does not impose, friendly. It's kind of tight with the others..
The hotel benefits greatly from the location, the sea and the beach! And if the room has a sea view and a terrace, then you can put 5 *))

DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPED RATING!
When choosing a hotel, I relied on the rating, as always, but I was wrong, the rating was overestimated, tophotels 3.6, tripadvisor 4.0.
Everything seems to be fine and the first coast, the beach, reviews through one, but the service and attitude to tourists in this hotel is something!!!
Let's start, the location of Mahdia is a settlement-type town, you will have to walk through a garbage-littered area, colorful, I agree). 3 main stores Carrefour, Monoprix, General" (alcohol), and a few shops with things. The local medina is just a name, anyone who was allowed in Sousse will understand the difference, there is nothing to buy, although Tunisia is famous for inexpensive leather goods (bags, belts, purses, etc.).
The hotel is small, with a swimming pool, located on the first coast, unfortunately, this is where the advantages of this hotel end).
The hotel has 2 bars for the local population, next to the reception and on the beach, i.e. for locals, entrance to the hotel and the beach is allowed without hindrance, it's fun to sunbathe under the gaze of men, attention is provided to you!)
The reception is trying to solve all YOUR problems!), this is a fact, with an air conditioner not working, with a toilet drain, with an awkward antenna of one Russian channel,...
Change dollars at the reception, the exchange rate is the same in the whole city $ 1 = 2.8 D, the tourist tax is also paid here, the receipt is given to your hands upon arrival.
Cleaning - they come into the room every day, this is a fact!), bathroom accessories are laid on the day of arrival (shampoo, soap), on other days you need to catch and ask the staff to report such valuable artifacts))). There is no hair dryer, ask at the reception. A refrigerator is available at the reception for a fee.
By the way, it may be that they will take away large towels, promise "Madam, in 10 minutes", and they will not bring them at all, only the next day. The receptionist at the reception will help you solve your problem again). After such an incident, they decided to "live" with towels rather than with such cleaning).
Food- you will not stay hungry, this is a fact!), but it is scanty and not always tasty, unfortunately, by the way, meat is laid out with a spoon for dinner, the advantage of this method is NO overeating!, the care of the staff is obvious).
Drinks-bottled "himosa" did its job in 2 days, pancreatin or activated charcoal will help you, it will be more useful to you on this trip than ever! It is noticed that every second.
Tea and coffee end exactly at the beginning of dinner, but maybe it's for the best, a strong undiluted mess that you can't drink is unhealthy.
The Internet works, it's a fact!), but messages can be sent immediately, either in an hour, or after a certain time, how do you say it depends on the phone!?, I have an apple 10, maybe that's the point, or maybe the specifics of this hotel.
Animation is there and that's a fact!), I counted one adequate (Jako) and three inadequate.
Rudeness is the norm for them, especially if you refuse their event. They can come up on the beach to knock on the head, touch with their hands, tease, they know Russian well, but they will speak their own language in front of you, smile sweetly hatefully, specifics!) The contingent of the hotel is mostly adult aunts, sometimes they are also drunk, I understand that it is difficult for animators to work in such conditions, 3-4 aunts on aqua aerobics, animators are bored!)
There is a disco and this is a fact!), have you ever been to a village club, a village hall, so here you can get nostalgic.
It so happened that we had bad weather for 3 days out of 10 days, sometimes rain, or strong gusty wind, due to underdeveloped service, all the advantages of the hotel disappeared, and the disadvantages came out.
Of course, solving our problems caused by the hotel makes our vacation look like a "quest", and in a special way makes the rest diverse and memorable.Thanks to the Topkapi beach Mahdia 3* hotel for this).
But in general, we sunbathed, bought up, had a good time, had a great rest, but not thanks to the hotel, but to our mood.)
Do not change a lot of money at once, there is not much to buy in this area, but bring olive oil, spices, and so on in small things, you will succeed, the rest turns out to be economical!)
Will I come here again? NO, such a "quest" won't please you a second time, it's not interesting!)
Wishes to the hotel management to improve the service so that tourists receive at least some comfort and hire a more professional adequate team of animators, otherwise there is simply nothing to do in your area.
Wishes to Pegasus to work with hotels where the management cares about the status and rating of the hotel, the comfort of tourists is an important aspect in the travel business, I think so.
