When I decided that I wanted to spend my vacation in Europe this year, I started looking for tours with visa support. There were rather strange proposals when the first and last names were entered into the contract in Latin and no more passport data + 100% prepayment at the stage of registration of the contract. In a conversation with friends, I told them that I was planning a trip. They said that they went with Toptour and were happy with the trip.
Since I was busy, my daughter took care of all the issues of the trip. After contacting Toptour, she began communicating with the tour operator Elena. I would like to note right away that Elena took into account all the wishes when choosing a tour and told in great detail about the paperwork for applying to the visa application center. Of course, there were some worries about whether I would have time to get a visa, but Elena reassured me that everything would be done in time. And so it turned out.
I will say in advance that Elena was always in touch, answered questions in detail and promptly, and when I was already in Europe, she was interested in how the tour was going, what impressions.
By the way, the fact that the tour is organized with visa support is a huge plus. All the documents that I first brought to Toptour to apply for a visa were folded by the staff of the tour operator into a file, I put the necessary signatures in the office and in the visa center of Italy, the prem of my documents took no more than 5 minutes. I got a visa for 3 months (there were no visas for the next 3 years).
Both before the start of the trip and the whole trip are organized at a very high level. The Dolce Toscana tour to Italy was chosen and entry to the European Union was through the Polish border. I think everyone knows that at the moment (May-June 2024) the queue of buses is quite large and it may take several days to travel the border. But this moment was also provided by TopTur employees – our bus took a queue in advance, and an additional one brought us from Minsk to Brest.
When transferring from one bus to the second, our drivers (Yuri and Vladimir) provided great help with luggage. Again, looking ahead, I will tell you that during the entire trip, none of the group had to put or take out suitcases from the luggage compartment of the bus. The drivers always helped. Those who travel on bus tours understand that by the end of the trip, suitcases become unaffordable (sometimes there are several of them). Considering that every night there were 45 passengers in a new hotel, imagine how many suitcases the drivers loaded/unloaded and always did it carefully! I would like to thank Yuri and Vladimir for their professionalism, patience and wonderful attitude towards passengers. And one more thing – we arrived at the hotels quite late, left early, but always in the morning we boarded a clean bus.
And now about the tour itself) Our guide Elena Kolomeitseva was with us the whole trip. I think that thanks to her knowledge, experience, responsibility, ability to manage a large group of people, a wonderful sense of humor and a great love for her work, the tour was easy, positive, active and informative. It's hard to say how Elena managed to take into account the wishes of everyone, but she did it! During the long trips, she talked a lot and interestingly about Italy. Her love and interest in this country captured everyone, there were many questions that Elena answered and additionally told something else.
In addition to the main program of the tour, Elena Kolomeitseva organized additional excursions / tastings and they were all interesting. A Russian-speaking guide was waiting for us in each of the cities, but Elena always kept everything under control. She patiently repeated the information several times to particularly forgetful or incomprehensible tourists. Probably, thanks to this patience, everyone was always in place almost on time.
As for overnight stops. 4* and 3* hotels were reserved for us. All the hotels are clean, the linen is fresh, there are enough towels and each had a gel shower and soap. The price of the tour included a buffet breakfast at the hotel. This breakfast was quite enough until the next opportunity to have lunch/dinner. Elena's advice was always relied on in choosing a restaurant – that's why it turned out to eat pasta or pizza inexpensively and very, very tasty.
When posting a review, I put a toptour of 5 * everywhere. I thank all the staff of this travel agency for the wonderful organization of the Dolce Toscana bus tour to Italy!
Excellent travel agency. They helped me get a visa. The tour agents are very helpful.
Many thanks to Irina for her kindness, detailed advice and patience
We promised 1 tour, made a deposit, almost before the tour, news abruptly arises that the visa will not be open and everything will not take place, in return they offer another trip, to which we gave a positive response. But then it turns out again that nothing will happen. For the third time, we refused with a request to refund the money for the UNFINISHED work. But... Here, the travel agency (if it is correct to say so) has various problems for which "they cannot refund money", to hear this in the era of technology, where everything can be solved with one click, is really funny. So think before you deal.
