The best rolls in Yerevan, really delicious! And also interactive -) plates that go around in circles, it's fun and very tasty cocktails. There is one caveat, somehow we sat down on the second floor - it's quite stuffy there, I don't recommend it, it's better to specify what you want on the first floor when ordering.

For Japanese cuisine - exclusively here! Everything is fresh, delicious, the waiters are cool 🤩 The sushi conveyor is also very cool. We have been here with friends many times and have never been disappointed.

One of the places where you want to come again and again for high-quality Asian cuisine for more than a year.
From the above: A hearty and delicious set, similar to a Bowl - where there are several types of fish and rice. Sushi that beckons you at a spinning table.. one of the novelties was the bunny ice cream souffle, it was cold and more solid like ice cream.

We used to go to this place often, but now we are extremely disappointed with the service.
We made an order, but its execution was delayed for an unreasonably long time. For example, miso soup, which is usually made quickly, was not brought for more than half an hour. Despite the fact that the staff promised that the order would be ready any minute, we had to wait and wait, and then wait again.
And as a result, the miso soup was taken out half-cooled. I had to give it back to warm it up again.
When the dishes finally arrived, there were no apologies or any offers to compensate for the inconvenience. It was just, "Here, eat."
When the next dishes were brought, the waiters forgot to remove the accumulated plates.
When it was time to pay for the order, the waitress just handed us the check without any words or apologies for the delay, just a dry: "Here's your check, goodbye."
Come here if you are very bored at home and you want to sit without food somewhere else for a VERY long time

A great place, a small corner of Tokyo in Yerevan. The establishment was opened by a Japanese, the chef and chefs are also Japanese. The place has various Japanese food and drinks, but the main feature of the place is the conveyor belt. The chef prepares sushi (sometimes in the hall, sometimes in the kitchen) and puts it on the conveyor belt. Then you take it off the assembly line. Plates of different colors and correspondingly different prices. There are tuna, eel, and salmon. Whatever your heart desires. The price is not the cheapest, we sat for 20k drams for two, but there is a fee for authenticity and taste.

If you are looking for delicious Japanese food and great service, Tokyooo is the right place.
A few days ago, my friends and I had a very delicious dinner there.
Seafood is very fresh, there is a very large selection of sake, and the prices correspond to the quality.
The staff was very attentive and friendly. They have a very beautiful and diverse conveyor belt, the only one in Yerevan and a chef from Japan is cooking sushi from fresh fish right above you👌🏻

For the first time we met the conveyor outside Japan) There is no automation like in Japanese cafes, but it's still cool that we were able to implement this feature.
We ordered ramen, sushi set and gainmeichu. It was delicious, but sushi in the shape of a cone is inconvenient to eat - first you eat the filling, then the rice, but you want everything together :)
Special respect for the Japanese toilet!

It's a great place, it's not the first time I go, I always get only good impressions.
The sushi is very tasty and big. The choice of desserts is quite small, but the orientation of the institution is not on them :)
There is a small alcoholic menu, that is, in general, it is suitable both to have a quick snack (for example, I do this with coffee and dessert) and to sit in the evening with a company / family.
A separate love for ramen, very satisfying, delicious and warming in cold weather :)
Very pleasant staff, always with a smile, always help with the choice, very quickly accept the order and generally serve.

excellent establishment with Japanese cuisine👍 prices are above average, the average check for two is ~ 20 thousand. I celebrated my birthday here a year ago - the waiters congratulated me and brought out a pleasant dessert. This time the waiter said "congratulations" in disbelief and I didn't get any surprise. The best Japanese restaurant in Yerevan!
I want to emphasize that it is Japanese, not pan-Asian cuisine. One of the owners is a Japanese living in Armenia.
You will not find Philadelphia and California rolls familiar in the CIS here, but you will find sushi, sashimi, gyoza, ramen, don and many more authentic Japanese dishes.
Some may find the prices too expensive, but try to find dishes with fresh fish cheaper in Yerevan.
I go here for lunch a couple of times a week for six months for sure (1300-2800dram). I recommend lunches with karaage, ramen, myself, and for fish lovers - kaysen chirashi don.
Recently, the owner of this restaurant treated us to homemade Japanese curry, which will soon be introduced to the menu. Perhaps this will be my favorite warming dish in winter.
In general, I recommend you to visit, especially if you have always dreamed of visiting Japan to try real Japanese cuisine.

Someone from the locals told me about this restaurant as the best in Yerevan. I got a little tired of Armenian cuisine and decided to eat rolls. The only thing I liked about the restaurant is its beautiful and atmospheric design: everything is very Japanese, a beautiful girl (Armenian) in a cute kimono at the entrance, an interesting presentation in the form of a conveyor on which the cook puts dishes. But, after all, people go to such places to eat.
Let's start with the fact that this is the first Japanese restaurant where I didn't see such world-famous rolls as California and Philadelphia on the menu, and in general they have a problem with rolls. They serve mostly sashimi and visually their fish is not the first freshness (although it tastes fine in principle and then there were no problems). There are only a few types of 2-3 types of rolls on the conveyor. Basically, these are huge tubes with rice (about 4 times more than those that you can find in normal Japanese restaurants) in which the filling is hidden somewhere deep inside. I ate a few of these and waited for something more decent, but in an hour (!!!) nothing new has arrived. I called the waiter and told him what rolov would like and asked for a recommendation, which set would I order, since I was already tired of waiting. The waiter informed me that they have all the sets with sashimi, but they will make me the rolls I want and put them on the conveyor in the near future. Well, well, I chose rolls from the menu (did you at least make pictures?) and waited. After half an hour, I got tired of waiting and called the waiter again. As a result, I ordered tempura shrimps (they taste good, it looks like the ones that should be) in order to eat at least a little. As a result, I sat in this institution for more than 2 hours, did not eat properly and spent 45+ dollars. I recommend everyone to stay away from this "best Japanese restaurant in town". For such money, you can have a great meal in the most famous restaurants in Armenia.

Good and fresh sushi, an interesting serving system with a "conveyor" and payment by the color of the plates. There is an opportunity to order takeaway food (we took curry with chicken - it was very tasty), there is not enough home delivery option - we would order every week! The staff and service are excellent, as expected from a Japanese restaurant.

Very tasty business lunches! We definitely recommend a lunch combo with "miso ramen" and a combo of "kaisen don" - the broth was very rich and satisfying, the rice was cooked perfectly, the seafood was fresh and delicious all 3 times (tuna and salmon were especially liked). Special thanks to the waiters - excellent service and maintaining the atmosphere of Japan ✨

I read the reviews and was surprised by the negative ones .maybe we were so lucky that day))
We accidentally walked into this restaurant while passing by. And very successfully . My husband and I are one of the most fastidious people in food. So, trying the 4th roll, my husband said "how is this even possible". Bearing in mind that all kinds of tested rolls were very tasty . The bill arrived quickly , and the change too .
The only drawback was that the toilet was not working . But we were so pleased with the fish that it did not spoil our mood in any way .
My husband said that these are the most delicious rolls in his life) Thank you for a great evening to this institution!

I really liked it, reserve a table at the ribbon on the ground floor, you can take ready-made dishes. There are no complaints about the menu, tuna sashimi is a huge portion for this money, they definitely won't bring it in Moscow. It's definitely worth a visit once.
