A wine shop is in fact not a shop or a store, but a barred stall, as in the 90s in Russia. A shop with three windows. In the evenings, long queues accumulate here and even if people are still standing, the store still closes. Priority is given to local residents, whom they try to serve without waiting in line. But we mostly walked during the day, so there were no problems. Of the good drinks, I can recommend the local Red Calipso rum and Lion beer. Beer is sold in 0.5l cans and 0.6l bottles. You can return the bottle immediately and get a discount on your next purchase. We did not give up, and took beer in cans, as it is lighter) But they said that you can hand it over within 2 weeks if you have a receipt. So if you're going to hand over, don't throw away the check. Rum is pleasant in both smell and taste, with the aroma of coffee. They also took their Arrack national spirits, namely Red label or Black label, which cost about 3,500 (I don't remember exactly), but I don't recommend it. The taste and smell are like drinking Red Moscow perfume, diluted))) Although, maybe it's a stick, judging by the reviews it occurs in this store. In general, in Sri Lanka, sellers must sell goods at the price indicated on the package/label/day, in general on the product. That's right, most stores don't even have price tags, because you can take the product and look at the price on it. But, not in this store, the price is too high here. The price list with the price is next to the store, by the way, I attach a photo of the current prices. They say there are also alcohol shops, for example near the fish market, but we lived next to it and were too lazy to go somewhere, so we bought alcohol here and in restaurants / cafes, although it was more expensive. Although, there was an idea to go for a fish and at the same time buy cheaper alcohol there, but it did not work out. Have a good rest!

An ordinary alcohol store! You can't go inside through the three-way window, you can also hand over the bottles there. The prices say +100, which is exactly when you hand over 100 rupees back!

Of course, we visited this place occasionally. We liked the rum, we took the beer, which is interesting, you can turn in the bottle, but if you have a receipt.
