We stayed at this hotel with a whole company of six people from December 23 to December 30, 2019. The hotel is conveniently located, within walking distance of many shops, the main mosque of Bahrain, etc. We arrived in Manama early in the morning, but settled us immediately and quickly, without waiting for 14.00, despite the fact that 50 people arrived at the hotel at the same time. We got rooms on the 8th, 10th and 11th floors. The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, there is a refrigerator, a TV, a safe, two armchairs, a kettle, cups, glasses. Two bottles of 0.5 liters of drinking water, tea, coffee, sugar, cream, and hygiene products were added daily. Cleaning was daily, towels were changed every other day. The advantages of the hotel include the availability of good Wi-fi throughout, including rooms, a swimming pool, sauna and gym. And now about the disadvantages. The main one is poor nutrition. No, no one was hungry, but there was no choice at all. If breakfast was monotonous, but traditional (omelets, boiled eggs, sausages, porridge, yogurt, tea, coffee, pancakes), then there was practically nothing to take for dinner. In a country located on the sea, fish was given once, and fruits and pastries - never. Arab countries (and Eastern ones in general) are famous for their sweets, but we did not see this in Bahrain. Last year, at the same time, we were vacationing in Jordan, so they had 15 kinds of cakes for dinner alone, not to mention all sorts of buns and buns. There, on Catholic Christmas, they prepared a festive dinner for us with a whole carcass of sheep, various canapes, tartlets and a variety of desserts. At Olive, this day was usually monotonous, no different from the others. There is nothing at all for children, so it is better to refrain from going to this hotel with children. If the food situation does not improve, the hotel will definitely lose Russian tourists as soon as it acquires them. The second drawback is the lack of Russian channels on TV. And the third is the lack of Russian-speaking staff. Russian Russian was not difficult for us to communicate, because two of us more or less speak English, but most Russian tourists, unfortunately, do not speak foreign languages and believe that the louder they speak Russian, the more they will be understood. The guide from Coral Travel Hassan speaks Russian, but he does not visit the hotel every day. In general, we liked the country, we were also very lucky with the weather, so we had a good rest.
A normal hotel.
The food is specific... Very spicy for Russian taste)

Clean, tidy, attentive staff. Rooms are well cleaned. The food is not very diverse, but it is delicious and, I would say, healthy. It's like in a sanatorium, only tastier. There are not enough vegetables, there are, but few, only 1 dish is hot, but there are a lot of stewed vegetables. You won't be hungry, but you won't be able to fix it either. Which is very good. The hotel is solid, family-run, urban. Do not count on walking around the city, there are no footpaths both in Russia and in Europe.
