Excellent hotel, quiet, peaceful, the hostess and staff are friendly. Clear. All things are safe. A favorable exchange rate, money was changed only from the hostess, which was very convenient. We had a rest in August 2024. When we checked in, we had a standard room for three, but the next day, after talking with the hostess, for a small surcharge, we moved into a room with three rooms (each room has its own bathroom)and the kitchen, they didn't even believe that they would be so lucky. The only thing that slightly overshadowed the experience was the dim lighting, but this is the problem of the entire island. There is a great Cafe next to the hotel, unremarkable in appearance, we did not immediately pay attention to it, but they cook very tasty and the portions are large, we even took them with us.
Not bad for Sri Lanka. Clean, just breakfast. There are their own tuk-tuks. Otherwise, just like everyone else. Locals are always ready to go to a meeting. Of course, hot water is only available in sunny weather, since it comes from a solar collector, but when it's 30 degrees outside around the clock, it's not scary. There are peacocks, squirrels, monkeys all around. The beach is 500 meters away, maybe a little more. When planning a vacation here, you need to specify when the rainy season is. The local guide told us that it rains from April to July, but I can't guarantee. In general, Ceylon has a rainy season at different times in different regions. The rest of the time it is very warm and humid, a tropical paradise, but with features that are better explored before departure.
This is most likely a guest house with a friendly hostess and a well-maintained territory. Clean, quiet and cozy. There are shops, Cafes and the beach nearby. I liked. I would go back there again.
