A great 4-star hotel, ideal for children and adults! We just returned - we had a rest in August 2024, smooth sandy entry into the sea, the best beach in the vicinity - transparent warm sea, you can see all the fish, delicious cuisine - there are always places in the restaurant and on the beach, although the hotel was completely filled! The rest is mostly Turks, a few Poles and Russians! The distance from the hotel to the sea is the minimum - convenient for families with a stroller with a small child - many rooms with sea views! Everything is great 👍
Solid four stars. Stunning clear shallow sea, beautiful private beach, where there are always places. Very decent food - we always found something to our liking. A huge restaurant, which always has a large number of seats. Queues of 3-4 people who quickly disappeared. But modest rooms, modest cleaning (towels, for example, were just hung out to dry on the balcony), a small area. There are very different people at the reception desk - one young man, who speaks excellent English, is friendly and friendly, and the main manager, also a young man, is unfriendly, non-orientated and does not hide his dislike either for tourists in general, or for Russians in particular, only "chirps" with Turks. We were initially accommodated in a room for the disabled, where, due to the lack of sides, water filled the entire bathroom, in addition, the shower was broken there. And they didn't move us for two days until the tour operator got involved. The second room was bright, clean and pretty - accordingly, the impression of the stay improved. In general, the hotel is quite decent, but not on the top five, but it is so good. There is nothing interesting around him : we went outside the hotel, but walked around the village for 15 minutes and returned - there is nothing to look at. Internet is available on the beach, in the lobby and on the balcony of the 4th floor. In general, if there is a small cost of the trip, you can go for the sake of the sea and the beach.
A wonderful hotel for a quiet family holiday, without show-offs and show-offs. The sea is a fairy tale, the sandy beach is 10 meters from the hotel. The entrance is shallow, shallow, ideal for children. The water is clear, like in a swimming pool, turquoise. The hotel is located in Akbuk Bay, around the mountain, so the connection is not everywhere. You also need to take beach towels with you. The cuisine is good and varied, especially lunches and dinners. The breakfasts are better, there are no porridges for children. But there is hot milk (water), so take mixtures for the very little ones. I had a great rest! I recommend it!
We had a rest for 2 adults + children from 08/14.23. Food is very scarce, I have not yet met such an assortment in Turkey, the crisis is felt. Russians are 50% Turks, 47% Poles and 3% Russians. The territory is small, but well maintained. There is a constant smell of sewage in the room. On the second or third day, my daughter started vomiting and the temperature rose, then my husband and I, so that we spent almost the entire vacation in the room. Russians, by the way, were also periodically taken away by ambulance and all Russians had the same thing either from food or from the water in the pool (although my husband did not swim in the pool). The sea is super, the approach is gentle and it was very warm. There is nowhere to walk outside the hotel, even to the nearest pharmacy you have to go to Akbyuk or Didim.
Wonderful hotel, rooms and food are all great! But we must take into account that Russian is not spoken at the reception, the entertainment is in Turkish. But the clearest sea.
Good day to everyone.
I was at this hotel from 09.05.23 to 17.05.23. The cost of a trip for one was 42,000 rubles.
We arrived at Milas-Bodrum airport. From there to the hotel, take a minibus for 1 hour and 20 minutes. without stopping.
1.The hotel (The Holiday Resort Didim 4 stars) is located right on the beach. Both externally and internally it looks very nice. The theme of Ancient Greece is felt. The territory of the hotel is small.
The hotel started accepting its guests only from 05/03/2013. As far as I know, it was closed during the pandemic. Although this is inaccurate, because I found reviews from 2022 from foreigners for this hotel.
Upon arrival, about 50 people lived in the hotel (little is surprising and generally good). Most of them are foreigners. The staff understands English to a greater extent than Russian. But it is still possible to agree and understand each other.
2. About the room:
-Single room with balcony and beautiful sea view
- Very clean
- Cleaning, change of towels was every day.
-Except for liquid soap in the shower and at the sink - there are no more soap accessories (take everything you need with you)
-The water in the mini-bar was replenished 2 times during my stay - at the beginning and in the middle of the rest (there was only water in the mini-bar).
- There was a safe in the room – you could use it for free. At least, they didn't say anything about it at the reception.
-The room has a retractable net in front of the window to the balcony from mosquitoes / birds (which is very convenient – you could not take a raptor with you).
-There is also a warm blanket
-there is air conditioning
- there is a TV
- there was no kettle and tea
3. The beach:
- almost all deck chairs come with mattresses
- the hotel does not issue a beach towel, you need to take it with you.
- when entering the sea, there are stones in some places, you still have to look at your feet
- the water is clear as a tear at any time of the day and cool – 19 degrees was somewhere during my stay (the Aegean Sea, and what did you want ...?). I used to swim every day.
- shallow – you can walk to the buoys and the water will be up to your waist. For parents with children, I think it's perfect.
- there is a pier – it was laid out on the 8th day of my stay (but there is a possibility that after jumping off it, you will have to walk some more to lose the bottom under your feet)
- there are some harmless animals – begging dogs (and there are a lot of them - but I haven't seen any evil ones) and crabs, small fish.
- the bar is located right by the beach
- go left - there are abandoned hotels, then there are residential buildings, and if you walk further for another hour, you will reach Migros, go right - in 7 minutes you will reach the grocery and household chemicals store A 101, and then there are residential buildings.
There is also a swimming pool, small water slides, and a playground.
4. Animation:
- appeared only on the 3rd day of stay (exercise, yoga, darts, aqua aerobics, etc.) There were not much discos – in the evening there was music on stage, but few people danced. I attribute this to the fact that the hotel had just opened and the people were not particularly active. And there were very few children at the beginning of the opening of the hotel – 1.2 children. The rest are adults.
The weather was 25-30 degrees all the time with a cool breeze. The sun in May is very active, even through a haze of clouds, from 12 to 17 it is better to be under an umbrella if you are Snow White by skin type.
5. Food:
I can only complain that the fruits were apples and oranges. Perhaps, with the arrival of more people, the range will expand.
Otherwise, everything is very tasty. Turkish cuisine is very rich in spicy and spicy spices. Lots of cheeses, greens. From meat – there was chicken, mackerel. As for pork and beef, they do something similar to this, but it didn't taste right to me at all. Desserts and pastries were above all praise this time – everything is very fresh (I usually never eat it in Turkey, but then I wanted to). Every day there was something new from the main dishes and desserts.
The beach bar offers fresh and salty vegetables, tortillas with cheese and meat, and cookies. Coffee from the jacobs vending machine/juice/tea/alcohol - red and white wine, beer.
In the lobby you can find at any time of the day - water /coffee from the jacobs vending machine / tea /red and white wine/ cocktails according to the bar card / beer. Cocktails are often poisonous colors and sweet. Honestly, they don't know how to make cocktails. If you want Turkish coffee, they will make it for you in the lobby, but for an additional fee.
About water – they were given out on request only in the lobby in closed plastic cups, they won't give much for one person at once. In the bar, they just pour into a glass from large bottles, which I didn't really like, because I don't understand where this water comes from. In the restaurant, water is brought to lunch and dinner in glasses at the table you occupy. If you want closed water in a cup, they sent it from the bar in the lobby.
There is not enough of what was in previous hotels – on the beach, in the lobby there were always refrigerators with these glasses of water. You come up and take as much as you need.
The coffee in the restaurant was only for breakfast. Lunch/dinner – coffee is available in the lobby and bar. In the restaurant, all the devices were covered with a towel at that time. It's weird, of course.
4. Free Wi-Fi throughout the beach and lobby.
5. Free sauna in the spa salon, all other spa services for an additional fee. There is also a gym. But the lights are usually off there ...) The choice of simulators is small - 2 treadmills, one bike, they are all old or not working, because apart from the bike I could not turn on anything there. There is one barbell with iron pancakes and one dumbbell....)
The hotel is excellent, only 3 people from the staff knew Russian, but the rest spoke English perfectly, a good beach, a swimming pool. Lots of drinks and food. Coffee is not very good.
