We got off the plane, as a surprise awaited us from the hotel "Your reservation has been canceled." Booked a couple of weeks before arrival. They were debited through booking with the hotel. They assured me that everything was fine)
A couple of days before arrival, information appeared from the hotel that the card was not being identified. The card of Kazakhstan was booked through it and the booking was made repeatedly, by the way, the following impromptu reservation was paid through this card:)
The card was changed, both the booking and the hotel were charged, everything is all Right, the card is normal, there will be no problems, because you have a payment upon check-in.
By the way, we are 7 people, 3 rooms+ free transfer from the booking office :) So four adults and three teenagers were left on the street :) Well, we are experienced travelers, we quickly got our bearings, but so-so history and decency.
We call from the airport to the hotel, and there they tell us: we canceled your reservation, people checked in yesterday, now there are only 3 empty seats:)
We checked at the booking office, and it showed all our available rooms at a price 2 times higher than we booked:) (550 € earlier, 900€ on the day of arrival:) well, if you checked in yesterday, you could have notified us right away, and not when the guests were already on the plane.
If you don't want hemorrhoids and problems, read the negative reviews on the Internet and you will understand that we are not the only ones like this and this is a normal story for this hotel.
By the way, everything was fine in the evening, they wrote and asked for names for the transfer, they explained where they would be waiting for us:) those were all normal.
We have booked 2 apartments on booking. com with on-site payment two weeks before check-in. The reservation was cancelled by the hotel staff on the day of arrival. When we called, we were informed that they would not be able to check us in, because there were not enough places for our accommodation. The hotel has already sold one of our apartments after canceling our reservation. I had to change my route on the move and book other accommodation.
