The best place for walking in Almaty . The new terrencourt along the Esentayka of course is.Uh, but old is old.
We are very happy with cafes, toilets, which were sooo lacking until 2020.
It is perfect in summer to cool down in July - August . And the beauty of the riot of color in October-early November.
Strengthens the heart muscle, legs and other muscles below the waist. Walking is useful!
A wonderful walking area. We enjoyed walking in the evenings. There are a couple of nice cafes and playgrounds. Of course, there is still something to refine, but it's still a pleasant place.
A great place for both walking and sports. Every year, the terrencourt is transformed for the better - plants are planted, new points for recreation and sports are added. The people and the atmosphere here are real - Almaty ❤
A great place to walk, especially on a hot day. A shady path along a mountain river. Quiet, fresh air, nice coffee shops. And if you go out on Saturday morning, after a stormy Friday night, then when you reach the upper pond, you will feel how the body has cleared itself of all undesirable consequences and is ready to fight again 😁
A good place to walk with your family, fresh air and a beautiful view around. The cafe is of course very expensive, and there is not much choice of dishes, the coffee is also so-so-for some reason it was cold.

A favorite place for walking with and without children in Almaty. It's quiet, without cars, and the river is noisy nearby. It's not hot in summer. And it's beautiful all year round. There are many cafes and sports grounds along the way.
Since Soviet times, it has been a favorite path for wellness walks at any age. The gentrified length along the Malaya Almatinka river, benches for relaxation, in the evening for lovers, sports equipment and playgrounds, fast food are always interesting
A great place for walking, there are small cafes where you can have a snack, benches to sit on, 2-3 playgrounds. From the beginning from Satpayev Street to the end at the pond, the distance is 5.5km.
Terencourt...a unique place in Almaty. An oasis of silence and proximity to nature in the very center of the metropolis. A favorite place of the townspeople living nearby. Walking and playing sports, cozy benches for relaxing and dating - this is a Terencourt!
I like it here.
Atmosphere, people, music, yoga, sports, dancing
If you want to relax, my advice to you is to come here.
Responsive , intelligent people
I was walking with my family. I really liked it. It is very convenient to get to the top by bus, and from there go down on foot, walking along the terrencourt. There are places where you can sit down and relax.
A beautiful park is located on the embankment of the Malaya Almatinka River. There are recreation areas throughout the park: benches, swings, cafes.
It will be very interesting for the kids)
There are free, clean toilets.
There are swings and rope balls for children and adults.
Ideal for lovers of running and hiking)
There is a good path, there are cafes, the river is pleasantly noisy. There are many sports grounds and benches for recreation. I recommend everyone to take a walk there
It was just a semi-wild place with buildings from Soviet times , then some smart guy came up with the idea to make a slide on this pond , in winter , they brought a bunch of metal and business started , let's cut the national currency from people and small children . It was a terrible phenomenon, it 's good that someone had the sense and authority to demolish this landfill. The place is just beautiful , why doesn't the Architecture of the city make a little effort , put cozy benches ( don't need beautiful ones) , put lanterns , make a toilet , or else they put toilets on the Terrancourt and even put people looking there , but nothing has changed , as there was no toilet paper and in my opinion it won't be , like a toilet it's worth it , so much money has been invested , but it's like it's made for show , there's definitely something missing and there's definitely something that doesn't work . It is easier to wrap cellophane and tape around us ( as is practiced in airports and sports facilities throughout Kazakhstan ) than just to call a plumber and fix problems within an hour . One more wish, to the city administration, the Kangaroo company , installed simulators on the Terrencourt, which suffered technical losses (within three months) , I personally called this company and asked them to restore the simulators, a young man answered me very politely (I really believed, as in-the first warranty period has not expired and the voice was trusting ) , but nothing has changed until today . They put up stands where it is written about dog walking and a place has been set up so that there are bags for defecation ( they really were at first , the idea was very good , but as with toilets , the same thing ( not on the old , nor on the new Terrancourt ) , but it 's good to have people ( at least half of them ) were taught to clean up after their pets . The lanterns are not lit everywhere , the company that serves the lighting ( I personally made repeated remarks to them ) , first of all, when they make repairs , the remnants and scraps from the wires are thrown away near the lantern , and they are also colorful , so bright ( apparently to show that We were here and did repairs ) and many lanterns do not covers ( where the wires of the lantern are hidden ) , bare wires stick out in different directions ( which is not safe , I know for sure that if , God forbid , a child dies from an electric shock , then the bosses of this company will walk ( with blunt muzzles ) and eliminate it all . And please do not put metal urns with sharp corners in such places , also please do not put table tennis tables made of metal ( I mean the surface of the table , it was done in the twentieth century ) , a small child can break his skull on a corner . Put one decent person and give him the authority to monitor the walking areas of the Terrencourt , your children , grandchildren , wives , parents are walking there... . Thanks in advance!
Sooooo beautiful place. A place of power and peace. The noise of the city is drowned out by a mountain river. I will definitely come back after the reconstruction. I recommend it to everyone, no one will remain indifferent
A great place, energetically charged, relaxing mind and body. It's all clear. I just don't understand why in winter they start cleaning at lunch or even after lunch, when you can clean early at 4-5 in the morning. After all, the walk is mostly done early in the morning because of the new time zone.
A good place to walk with your family or play sports. Fresh air, clean, long hiking trail, lots of interesting places along the way. There are playgrounds and exercise equipment
A legendary place for walking. Now they are closed for reconstruction, I hope that after the repair the local vibe of the Terrencourt will play in a new light. And it will become even more cozy
A good place for walking, along the route there are a couple of cafes where you can grab a snack and coffee.
For August 2024: repairs are underway at the top in the lake area.
A great place for outdoor activities. At any time of the year. For all ages. Alone and with whomever you want. A delight to the eyes and ears. The river. Coolness in summer. Everything for walking and health.
A beautiful place for walking and relaxing. There are many benches, playgrounds and sports grounds. Cafes and toilets are free and clean. The Terrencourt goes along the river, so it is very picturesque here, you can hold photo shoots.
A very beautiful and well-maintained place. There are many different benches, swings, playgrounds and sports grounds. There is a cafe and a free, clean toilet. The Terrencourt goes along the river, so it is picturesque here and there are places for a photo shoot.
Just a great idea and execution. Such a long walking route has been missing for our city for a long time. My children and my grandson often walk there in the evenings. Just great.!
Okay, it's clean. But in places, the path with a stream on both sides is clamped by high fences from houses. it seems that you are walking through an industrial zone.
the height difference is almost 180 m, this should be taken into account when planning the starting point of the path
I like to walk there, I just live nearby, you can walk every day, in winter you can ride on the slopes, but the second platform from the bolshoy bridge will hold the bars together very much and no one can cope without parents.
It's a good place. Only in the evening there is not enough light, especially near playgrounds and benches.
PS: the light has been fixed, now it's perfect
We usually walk here every autumn. We come for a fairy tale and get it, especially during the golden foliage period. This fall, we noticed that they are doing a lot of repair work and are waiting for the result in spring / summer. I think it will be even more beautiful
A great place for quiet hiking in the coolness of Malaya Almatinka. Terrencourt is exempt from bicycles and scooters, so you can walk with children without worrying that someone might encounter them.
Along the embankment there are several sports and playgrounds and several small cafes.
A great safe place to hike with your family. In front of Al-Farabi Avenue and just above there is a cafe where you can eat and drink coffee. There are playgrounds for recreation and physical exercises.
An amazing place to walk alone, as well as with family or company)
There is always cleanliness on the path, lots of urns and playgrounds!
In a word, KLASSSS!!!
A very atmospheric hiking trail. Cafes, coffee shops, poufs-pears right by the river! It's probably wonderful here in the summer, too, but we walked in the fall. Beauty!!! Playgrounds, swings and of course places for photos
IT'S A VERY ATMOSPHERIC PLACE. NATURE, RIVER, BEAUTY.the noise of the water. YOU GET COMPLETE RELAXATION . THERE IS A TOILET. I WISH THERE WERE MORE BENCHES SO THAT PEOPLE COULD SIT.
Walk in pleasure, beautiful, clean, safe. There are several cafes and eateries, just below Al-Farabi Ave., just above, there are on Komarova St. After reaching the artificial lake, go higher to the hotel and turn right, after 400 meters there will be a continuation of the trail in the mountains.
