This is a heaven in town. My most Favourite walking distance. If you wanna find peace start from AB restaurant at the top and walk till you reach Almaty hotel it takes 4,5 km long and beautiful ride.
At the weekends it could be little more crowded but weekdays it is more peaceful.
I love to be here and I fully recommend to get here and take a walk.
Only minus about this route is that if there would be more sitting benches and free wifi areas on the way, that would be amazing.
Apart from that it is an amazing place to be.

A very picturesque place in Almaty! The city center is such a beautiful place to relax and walk. A beautiful mountain river, from which even in the summer heat there is a cool breeze, lots of greenery, trees! There are coffee shops. You can take coffee with you, or you can sit on the picnic or on the covered terrace! Delicious coffee, delicious breakfasts! In winter, the paths are very well cleaned of snow and ice!

One of the best places in Almaty for walking! There are coffee shops, public toilets, and a lot of beautiful space. The car wash complex (from Satpayev) is conveniently located nearby, sometimes you put the car and go for a walk.

A cool park for sports: walking, running and just relaxing.
On the hottest summer day, there is always a coolness from the mountain river. There are many places to relax: benches, swings. There are plenty of cool and cozy cafes for every taste.
The only drawback is one restroom (toilet) at the beginning of the park. And if you suddenly feel the need in the middle or at the end of the path, then there is nowhere else to relieve yourself.

I love walking around the Terrancourt! The place is suitable for leisurely, peaceful walks in company and without. There are cafes and snack bars on site. Be sure to try the "Karak" tea, which is sold right at the entrance. I would like to further develop this walking area.

Excellent pedestrian road along the river, clean air, the maximum elevation point is 1060 meters above sea level. Clean, there are warm-up areas, benches, trash cans, cafes all over the place. There is a free-standing, fenced area for dogs, special displays with bags for collecting the excrement of four-legged friends. I recommend walking along the terrancourt, if possible!

Damn, you know, great. Absolutely safe, no strange types walk, mostly families and those who do sports with dogs (a huge plus, you can take free bags for dogs) clean ottomans, everyone treats everything with respect, free toilet and drinking water, the air is clean, there are a lot of cafes, ice coffee (latte) is awesome in Newton(next to Happy Cake, next)

A stunningly secluded place to walk. Bubbling water, a neat path after renovation, clean air compared to the city, trees with high crowns and dense foliage have an excellent effect on well-being. There are comfortable benches, swings, playgrounds for children, in some places points for a snack, coffee. It is better to start the walk at the intersection of Dostyk and Ospanova streets, since it is more convenient to descend than to climb towards the mountains, and the terrencourt ends where the Palace of the Republic. A wonderful walking path along Malaya Almatinka. Recently renovated. It is pleasant to sit on a bench in the shade of trees in the summer under the sound of the river, swing on a swing, work out on simulators, children are happy to play on playgrounds. And in winter, you can walk, jog 4.5 km of the terrencourt to the services of the Almaty residents.

The best place for walking in Almaty . The new terrencourt along the Esentayka of course is.Uh, but old is old.
We are very happy with cafes, toilets, which were sooo lacking until 2020.
It is perfect in summer to cool down in July - August . And the beauty of the riot of color in October-early November.
