It is very pleasant that the object is preserved and maintained in excellent condition. Our pride, the great victory, we remember, we grieve. It is very convenient that it is not fenced and you can come here at any time of the day. I wonder if the trees are injured?
A wonderful place!
Everyone should visit the Brest fortress, it is not only the "ruins" and restored structures of the former fortress, but also museums and a huge history of its creation and history during the war. It is necessary to go to all the museums on the territory of the fortress, it is very interesting not only to immerse yourself in the history of those years, but even just to look at all those artifacts that have survived to the present day.
It's good that there is at least an observation deck here, because the most interesting thing is that powder magazines, pillboxes, half-capons, casemates remain across the river in the Terespol fortifications (border island), in spring and summer they took an excursion there, accompanied by border guards, but it was necessary to sign up somewhere in a month. They seem to have stopped now
Everything is beautiful, well-groomed, interesting, it's worth taking a guide and listening to the story. A place that needs to be visited by everyone, imbued with history, but the place causes rather sad thoughts and feelings, Levitan's words
they penetrate into the very heart, but this is our story, I liked it
It is large-scale and touching, it gives you goosebumps, you immediately remember all the films about the war and the immortal feat of your grandfather. I am proud of our heroes and veterans! They have set a very high bar, we must somehow strive to keep it💪
A very beautiful gate through which you can get to the Brest fortress or to the bank of the Bug River.
The preserved traces of the battles make it possible to feel the events that took place here, to touch the history, one might say.
It's cool inside on a hot day.
Good afternoon!
The Brest Fortress Memorial Complex, if possible, should be visited by every resident, not only of the Republic of Belarus, but also residents of the Russian Federation and other republics and countries.
A fortress with a long history. It is a symbol of the steadfastness and courage of soldiers and officers defending their Homeland. When visiting the fortress, I felt the horror that the defenders suffered during the first hours and days of the beginning of the V.O. war. You should definitely take a guided tour.
The gates of the Ring barracks leading to the bank of the Bug River. Next to the gate, inside the fortress, there is a monument to the Heroes of the border, women and children.
Monument. Brest fortress. You definitely need to visit!!! There are a lot of impressions. Pride takes over your people! Thank you so much for keeping the memory of those great people alive!
A must-visit place. An energetic place.
In general, the Brest Fortress and especially the Brest Fortress Museum with an excursion is very important to do in order to better understand the history and drama of the Great Patriotic War!
This place is very beautiful and picturesque.
I really liked it here. This place is associated with the times of the war, and every chip on the walls reminds us how hard it was for people.
I visit the Brest fortress for the second time and once again my heart freezes at the realization of the horror of the historical outrages that have occurred and the lack of humanity on the part of fascism. We must not forget the history. It is necessary to bring children, tell and show these historical places so that no one can substitute history.
The war began here, and our grandfathers stood here until the end. Everyone should visit the fortress and pay tribute to its defenders.
The territory of the fortress has been cleaned and is in perfect condition
I recommend everyone to visit here. A very strong place energetically. You can take a very long and interesting walk here. Lots of tracks. The children are happy here on scooters, skateboards. There are a lot of cyclists. And moms with strollers. Birds. Various trees. And flowers.
Impressive. The SCALE is felt! It's a pity we couldn't arrange an on-site tour. It is necessary in advance. We listened to an audio tour on the Internet 😁
The famous fortress is an example of the steadfastness and heroism of the Soviet warrior.
It would be good to post directions to this majestic monument in the city itself
The Brest Fortress is very emotional. 100% of the women in our tour group walked with tears in their eyes, and the soup men with a lump in their throat.
A very strong place, definitely such places should be visited and come for more than one day. Before the trip, be sure to watch films about Brest, and upon arrival it will be very interesting for you to walk there. I advise you to visit the museum with a guide.
It was interesting to watch and listen to the story.
Everything is neat, clean and well maintained.
The child also liked to look at military equipment and historical buildings.
We have long dreamed of visiting the Brest Fortress, and for this we went to Belarus. We were not disappointed. A strong impression. At first, we just walked, watched, then ordered a tour. We learned a lot of interesting and new things for ourselves. I didn't think there was such a good aura in a place where such tragic and heroic events took place. There is peace and tranquility all around. I was pleased that the entire memorial is in excellent condition. Schoolchildren keep watch at the eternal flame. I advise everyone to visit an unusual place.
Brest fortress. Cyclists and scooters are running around the territory, ignoring the established signs, children climb over the remains of the fortress, there is no control. There are no information signs near the monuments. It is a shame for such a memorial complex that it was "not brought to mind"
A place that makes you think about past events, about comedy and heroism. You can go down to the river, there are benches nearby, beautiful willows. You definitely need to visit here
Brest Fortress is a place where you have to come at least once in your life.. A magical place, sculptures of Courage and Thirst are amazing. Take a guided tour to learn as many facts about the defenders of the fortress as possible. I recommend coming to Brest by June 22, every year there is a military historical reconstruction on 06/22/1941.
The Brest Fortress needs no introduction. This is a place of courage and perseverance of the Soviet people. Every stone speaks of the terrible events of that time. Since childhood, I have dreamed of visiting there. The greatest place of fortitude and courage.
This is a beacon of memory of the feat and courage of people of that period, many of whom showed an example of perseverance and dedication, not typical for modern times, when actions were performed in the name and for the benefit of others for an idea and a country. This must be remembered by ourselves and passed on to future generations. Belarus has paid a very high price for this historic stage. The heroes of the Brest Fortress, like all other people of that period, should be known, remembered and honored.
Entrance to the territory is free, everything is very nice and clean. A pre-revolutionary temple has been preserved on the territory. There is a defense museum. The scale is amazing. Especially the star at the entrance.
Got this gate. The construction is solid with reinforced walls. It's a pity there is no bridge across the river. And so it's interesting to take a walk.
