I recently completed a DevOps engineer course and I want to share my impressions. It was an amazing learning experience that really expanded my knowledge and skills in the field of DevOps!
The course was very intense and intense, 8 months, 2 lectures per week + homework after each lecture. A few sleepless nights doing homework, and great satisfaction when everything worked out and was counted by the teacher without comments)
I would especially like to mention our teacher Vitaly. His in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in DevOps made the course incredibly valuable. Vitaly skillfully explained complex concepts, giving real-world examples from the industry, which helped to better understand the material.
In the middle of the course, I was a little behind in homework, I changed my place of work and was preparing for classes, so I did not have time to complete all my homework by the end of the course. But I will definitely study everything and do my homework on my own, because this is a real opportunity to get real practical experience.
I will definitely recommend this course to my friends who are interested in DevOps, and the school as a whole, who will need courses in IT.
Thank you so much for the experience!
I took the Automation QA Engineer (C#) course
I liked the course, but it was really difficult and very voluminous.
The teacher (Alexander) is responsible and professional in his field, he gave excellent material, better than most well-known resources.
If difficulties arose, I was ready to explain and show them again. For which we are very grateful to him.
I can definitely recommend the course and the organization to my friends and colleagues.
I would like to express my gratitude to TeachMeSkills for organizing the HR Generalist course. And I would like to express my special gratitude to the course teacher Ekaterina Lazovskaya. The material was submitted professionally and in an accessible manner. She explained difficult points in an accessible form, gave many examples from her practice. During my studies, I expanded the horizons of my knowledge, reviewed some working points, and formed goals and ideas for the future.
I studied for a project. The teacher was Anna Kohanovskaya (I could have made a mistake in my last name, Anyut, I'm sorry)
What can I say about the course:
1) The teacher is experienced, understands the specifics perfectly and is able to convey the material to the students so that everyone understands (there was a large age range in the group)
2) the training materials were prepared with small jambs, somewhere spelling, somewhere punctuation, somewhere banal is not what is needed. Fortunately, the teacher always corrected everything as soon as possible and ascomina did not stay.
3) there were a number of interesting points, namely:
A) The lesson with HR promised online did not take place, although I would like to. Russian Russians don't have access to LinkedIn, plus his work is aimed at LinkedIn, which is not available to Russians (this is my personal problem, I was the only Russian)
B) The schedule of classes was changed, as a result, classes were held from 19:00 to 22:00 on Tuesday (normally) and Friday (terribly), the lesson on Friday evening was very demotivating, since you clearly do not want to study on Friday evening.
At the end of the training, before defending the diploma project, we were waiting for a test, without passing which they would not give a diploma (correctly), the test was quite difficult, I had to be nervous (excellent in my opinion)
According to the results of the course, I have a diploma, I have already been invited to a remote internship, I am immensely glad)
I would like to wish the Academy a little more attention to detail.
From the comments about the course (I have a higher education in management), I can say the following:
1) I would introduce a few more basics of management, since people come who have not previously encountered management, the course does not provide initial, but more advanced materials, the understanding of which without fundamental things can be incorrect and lead to tyranny in further work (I supplemented the lectures of the teacher in one way or another in personal messages to some students, so that it would be a little easier for them to understand what was in the lecture)
Another very, very huge plus, compared to other popular schools, I can highlight the cost of the course and the timing. Excellent price and duration of the course, no water for a year and a half, no costs as in medical schools. Great!
I will recommend this academy!
She was trained in android development.
In general, I can rate all the training at 9/10. There were just wonderful teachers: in the Java block and the android and Kotlin module. They conducted their lessons perfectly, were always in touch, helped with everything, answered any questions. The course was not very easy, but in general the material was always clearly understood and there were no problems as such.
I am happy with absolutely everything, thank you very much for your support throughout the training.🥹🫶🏻
She completed courses at TeachMeSkills on system analysis. I want to thank you for finding a teacher for our group, Veronika Anisimkova. The classes were very interesting and structured, there was always a clear understanding of what to do. Homework and diploma were brought closer to real work on the project. In 2 months, a very large amount of information has been told on the course and of course it is necessary to devote a lot of time to self-study. They won't give you a certificate just for being present) you need to work on it) I advise the TeachMeSkills school, I'm not going through their first year :) Good luck to you!
I took the course "Graphic Design" and was very satisfied!
The course topics are structured very logically and help to build a strong base. You feel your growth with every lesson. Roman Berg was my teacher. He knows how to tell even the most boring topics without boredom. He is very indifferent, he will always support and answer any questions that arise, he will help to really pump up the viewing. In difficult moments, it motivates and helps to overcome self-doubt. As a result, you come out with a strong portfolio and a graduation project.
She studied for a BA in IT.
I am glad that I took this course. He helped me form an idea of the field, gain basic skills and organize my existing knowledge.
The presentation was accessible, additional materials were readily shared by both the teacher and fellow students (who have experience in the field of IT or came across a useful article, video). In general, the atmosphere in the classroom was quite pleasant. I thank teacher Anna for her constant willingness to ask questions, returning to the topic if a student has a misunderstanding or a request for more detailed information on the topic under consideration.
I would also like to thank the school for the opportunity to pay for my studies in installments - it is really convenient.
She took a project management course at TeachMeSkills school from February to June.
I really liked the classes — the teacher is attentive and proactive, we easily found contact with classmates, and the program closes all the necessary theoretical base for beginners) Even after completion, we all support each other in finding work and go to live meetings)
I recommend the Project manager course from Denis's teacher!
I was trained as a Python developer. The teacher is Anton Balmakov.
And I would like to point out:
1. A well-chosen structure/system of classes.
2. Excellent teaching. Yes, it may not be suitable for people who need to go through everything with a teacher (but it takes time like in universities - 2-3 semesters). That is, a good base was given, on the basis of which it was possible, if desired, to find information for independent study)
3. A good selection of theoretical information on Python
She studied to be a Product analyst. My impressions were positive) Initially, I liked the detailed course program on the website and online classes (not recorded ready-made lectures, as in some schools) and the opportunity to view the lesson later on the record. The course was intense and all the materials were explained in full. The teacher, Alexander, always answered questions that arose during the lectures, as well as actively shared his own work experience. At the beginning of classes, there was a detailed analysis of homework. Special thanks for the mobile version of your personal account, it has become much more comfortable).
Course developer C#
Teacher Pavel.
In general, there are only positive impressions about the training. From the teacher, too.
A lot of practice, which is always useful.
The organization of training practically did not fail (except when the teacher got sick, but this is clearly a good reason)
In general, there were still minor flaws, but who is not without sin)))
Put five because the pros were much more significant than the insignificant cons
Studied at an offline ux/ui designer course
I was satisfied! A good program and a teacher. The conditions for learning are great. Clean large classrooms, TV, provision of educational laptops if it is not possible to use a personal one. Tea and cookies for a snack on the break
Good afternoon!
She graduated from graphic design courses.
To be honest, I didn't expect everything to be so great. I was fundamentally looking for a school where there would be mandatory feedback from the teacher in the learning process, but as they say, "I was looking for copper - I found gold"))) I'm thrilled. I came as an absolute beginner from a radically different field of activity, I was worried about my lack of skills, but the training program is just perfect for people like me. I really learned from scratch, and from the absolute)) I am very grateful to Roman for his patience and his involvement in our learning process, for not leaving 1 on 1 with difficult issues to solve. Thanks to your school, I now clearly know who I want to become when I grow up))) Thank you to your team, I am sincerely grateful. I hope that over time something like advanced training will appear in your school, because I am ready to further develop in this and related areas of design.
I decided to change my review after completing the course. Having studied "Automated testing in C#", I faced a number of problems. And so, the course is divided into 2 stages, 1st: learning the c# language, 2nd automated testing. During the lessons, I began to realize that these courses are not particularly suitable for people who start learning this program from scratch, yes, initially everything is easy, then even the teacher himself could not explain what was what. By the end of stage 1, there was a feeling that the teacher had scored on the dz and was just saying that everything was fine. When automated testing began, there were enough jokes here too. Throwing off the teacher's DZ, he often forgot about it, and it could hang for a long time until you remind yourself. Many of the students merged, the group at the beginning of the training was staffed by 14 people, by the end no more than 10 people remained, there were generally 7-8 students in the classroom, sometimes less.
What disappointed me the most:
1) the approach to students who have just entered the IT field;
2) outdated presentations in the classroom, the quality of the screenshots is terrible, non-working links, some slides are generally in English, outdated code, etc.;
3) inflated price tag for training;
4) the office workers who helped me decide on the courses turned out to be untrue a lot of things in their words;
5) help in writing a resume? There is no help, at the end of the training they just dump a video from YouTube, which tells how to compose it;
6) employment assistance? It's not either, they just drop you a link to a group with vacancies.
In general, I regretted a little that I turned to this company. I was led to positive feedback and a conversation with employees of the TechMySkills office.
Trained as a Java developer. This course has exceeded all my expectations. It was carefully structured and covered all the key aspects of Java development, from the basics to advanced topics. The course teacher (Sergey) is a true professional in his field, always ready to help and explain complex concepts in an accessible language. Overall, I am very pleased with this course and believe that it has helped me significantly improve my Java programming skills. I recommend it to anyone who wants to become a professional Java developer.
The Unreal Engine course turned out to be useful, but with some drawbacks. Initially, it was not easy to delve into the topic, but later everything became clearer. The change of teacher in the middle of the course caused some difficulties, but the new teacher turned out to be competent. It is nice that after completing the course there is still the possibility of communication with the teacher and support. Access to additional materials and notes makes the course more convenient, but there are not enough homework, structured lessons, and teacher activity.
Positive:
• Clear basics of Unreal Engine
• Access to additional materials and recordings
• Teacher support after completing the course
Minuses:
• Change of teacher in the middle of the course
• Lack of homework and structured lessons
• Lack of teacher activity
Access to recordings is a huge plus, but homework and clearer lessons would not hurt.
In general, I recommend it, but taking into account some disadvantages.
I took a course in the direction of PA (Product Analyst)
I was satisfied with the training. The teacher was Alexander Vysotaev - a good teacher, explained everything clearly, gave good examples to explain. During the training, there was a manager (Tamara) nearby, who asked questions about the training and who could be contacted for any question of interest.
I recommend this course to everyone.
He studied at the Frontend Developer. I really liked the courses. Good teachers, explain and tell everything clearly and competently, are always ready to help with any questions. I also liked the work of the curator, the constant interest in the educational process and the willingness to solve any organizational issues.
I would like to express my gratitude to TeachMeSkills for the professionally organized course "Front End developer" and give the highest assessment to the teacher Anna Burkovskaya.
Anna presented the material in an accessible form, prepared many examples explaining the theory. She was always open to communication, actively and in detail answered questions both during the lesson and at other times, if necessary, patiently explained difficult points several times. She analyzed the students' code, explained the errors, suggested several solutions, without leaving one-on-one with the problem.
I also sent a lot of additional material in various forms, created a repository with cheat sheet tips to repeat the material I passed, special thanks for the video :)
I especially liked the format of knowledge testing in the form of tests and surveys, which served as additional motivation.
And special thanks to the manager Tamara, who always stayed in touch, was sympathetic to all emerging issues and promptly helped with their solution.
She studied to be a system analyst. The teacher was Roman.
I was very pleased with the training. I really liked the course, despite the first hitches, everything turned out very well and successfully. A rich course program, high-quality homework. The teacher was well chosen, the topics were well covered, there was feedback on homework.
The success of any course depends on the teacher, but here everything was fine. All presentations covered the topic well and were intense. The structure of the lesson was very competently constructed. The time allotted for discussing the previous topic, homework, and at the end time for summarizing and questions. I really liked that the theory was diluted with practice.
The course is good🥹
I signed up for a Python course in April 2024, and was offered a good discount on the course. I paid at the same time for the entire volume. In the summer, due to a job change and the birth of a child, he was forced to take a break from studying. And then it started: it turned out that you can take a break, but the discount is burning out and therefore, in order to resume training, you need to pay up to the full price list... However, for family reasons, he was forced to do this and agreed. After a while, I realized that there was not enough time to combine a new job and fatherhood, so I decided to issue a refund on September 24... They dropped the application, filled it out, 20 R.D. expectations and a lump in vegetable oil, breakfasts and empty promises began, then the application turned out to be not executed, then some kind of force majeure in accounting, then there are a lot of applications, etc. At the time of this review, there is no refund, there is no information, only empty promises with sad emoticons.
Completed the QA Manual courses. As I am not a beginner in IT, I recommend that the school process lectures more often for modern realities, use large tables with data a little less. Pay attention to the lack of time devoted to the practice of web testing. Teachers Vyacheslav and Vadim, professionals in their field, were saved. Thanks to them for the detailed analysis of homework. And thanks to the school managers for the quick and detailed answers to all the questions asked.
Graduated from the front end developer courses. The classes were wonderful, many thanks to the teacher Evgeny Datsko, for his competence and help at any time. A perfectly organized job!
I studied to be a UX/UI designer. I really enjoyed the training, special thanks to the teacher Yuri. Information was conveyed very clearly, edits were made to all projects. Yuri was always in touch and answered all your questions. Thank you❤
I took a course in UX/UI design. Impressions are 50/50. I would not recommend going from zero. At the moment, I would have studied Figma on the Internet on my own, disassembled all the tools, independently studied how to use them and only then went to the course. Yes, there is a lot of practice in developing an application, but without confident knowledge of Figma, it is useless, it will be difficult on the course or to no avail for someone. I would recommend this course for those who have basic knowledge of Figma, who want to do several jobs in a portfolio and get a diploma, for further movement in the profession. Figma is on a course at the top, and this is the basis. Yes, there were references and teacher's advice, but they did not always help. Yes, bright and spacious classrooms, tea and biscuits.) But in the essence of learning, it is better to approach this in a meaningful way and prepare somehow. Perhaps the teacher also matters...
I took an iOS developer course. From the very beginning, the course was shifted for a month and a half and the teacher who was supposed to lead was changed.
For a month and a half of training and 11 completed homework, only one was checked, the very first one.
I left the course because I didn't like the presentation of the material and the lack of checking homework.
The money has not been returned to me for more than a month (I paid for the entire course at once). Every time I write to the manager and ask a question about the refund of my money, he refers to the alleged technical problems of the system and that their team is actively working to fix the problems. And so it is constantly.
I realized that everything was very bad when I called them on the phone, they did not answer my questions and promised to call me back, as you can guess, a miracle did not happen and no one called back..
now I have applied for legal assistance in the hope of getting the money back for the 4.5 months that I did not study before.
People are just terrible. Never in my life have I given anyone 1 star on any product or service, but here if I could I would put 0 and write a sign “Don't be fooled by an HONEST 5.0 rating!” Just put a filter on negative reviews and it will become clear that this is the norm for the organization. Most likely, this review will be blocked by no means by BOT ratings of 5, but I hope it will find its reader.
The course "graphic design" is taught by Pavel Mashkovich. the course is decent, the duration is about 6 months. a course with theory and practice, lots of examples and practical work. even if this is the first time you hear about programs, it's okay, you will be taught. The teacher was in touch 24/7. as a result, you will have from 1 to 3 completed projects that can already be used in your portfolio. Additional classes with a career consultant - job search.
I also think the advantage will be that the course is paid in 4 stages.
An excellent school, took the advice and turned to them, the courses were held online, everything was clear and understandable, without water, the teacher explained competently with examples, I advise and recommend contacting this school:)
A contract with a completely different organization, fraud!
It sucks! I do not recommend it! I went to 1c developer courses. The courses are not suitable for beginners, more for advanced ones. Initially, it was stipulated that they would help with the dz. The teacher explains it is not clear, if there are questions about the dz, then he says look for yourself in the assistant. She said that half of the group left her, because the students did not like her teaching. Then why give such a teacher to others? 112 ACADEMIC hours are indicated when forming the application. I called them repeatedly, found out about the courses, no one said anything about it. She repeatedly complained to the teacher about her explanation, the issue was not resolved in any way. I believe that the material was not specified in full size. They do not want to recalculate the remaining amount, they say that the material turned out to be complete. How completely, if there were complaints that were not resolved in any way??? I do not recommend it, you will spend both time and money.
For a c# developer, it is a very productive and interesting course, for website development, it is also ideal here. Especially the excellent teacher Pavel - he delivers everything very clearly
I graduated from the iOS development course under the guidance of Mikhail Morochko and I can say without a twinge of conscience that everything is just fine! An up-to-date training program, an experienced and pleasant teacher, interaction with the group, they will help and make concessions in all your mistakes, etc. Everything was at the highest level, thank you very much!
I tried to take DevOps courses. These are my third courses and the third company providing IT courses. I don't know about other programs, but the DevOps course is terrible. The teacher swims and many of the guys from the course knew more than he did. Presentations are poorly made, paragraphs of text on pages that the teacher reads out to zero. The homework was articles from the Internet, for which it was necessary to repeat the actions of the author of the article. Oh and the cherry on the cake is a refund within 20 business days. It's been more than a month and they don't even feed me breakfast, but weeklies. I do NOT recommend this course
Good afternoon! Super training (I studied at DevOps engineer, DOS19-onl) I learned a lot of interesting things, especially when we analyzed real examples of difficulties in work and solutions to them. The teacher Vitaly is a professional in his field, he explains everything in an accessible and understandable way for the development of heavy material. Thanks! 🥳🎶😎
I studied at this school as a ux/ui designer (off). Everything is at the highest level. An accessible presentation of the material, a competent teacher and there is always feedback from managers on all issues!
The training program is good, there is a lot of useful information both in the lessons and the direction for self-study. I always received feedback from the teacher, carefully sorted out my homework and constantly improved.
I recommend it!
I took a course in product analysis.
The impressions from the training remained as positive as possible)
Sasha, the teacher, is an incredibly talented guy in his field, who not only was able to fully teach the course program, but also shared his personal skills and life hacks at work in many moments. I am infinitely grateful to him, I saw in him a strong motivator)
A very comfortable group got caught on the course, all the guys are very responsive, everyone is cool in their own way, I will warmly remember the time of communication with them
The course program met all my expectations, got exactly what I was looking for, and I am very glad that in the end I chose this course among all those offered on the market
Thanks)
Overall, the impressions from the course are extremely positive, and I would like to highlight a few key points.
1. I liked the learning process. Theory, practice, homework, several projects — all this provided knowledge and skills in Python. The material was presented in a logical sequence (although some topics might have been worth swapping) and this made it easier to understand and assimilate information.
2. Denis Listopad, a teacher, deserves special thanks for his professionalism, willingness to always come to the rescue and keep in touch with students.
3. The organization of offline courses was another undoubted advantage. The opportunity to study in a classroom where nothing distracts from the process turned out to be very valuable. It also provided an additional opportunity to communicate with classmates and the teacher.
4. The cookies offered during breaks were sometimes not the first freshness.
In conclusion, I want to say that it was a useful experience. Thank you for your knowledge, support and, of course, cookies, even if they were sometimes not from the last batch!
I took a Devops course. The training was not easy, but it was interesting.
Thanks to teacher Maxim for a great experience and manager Tamara.
I recommend a school to study at.
It's a pity they don't give bikes to graduates anymore (
I liked the courses and training on the data analyst course, the material was available for study, we performed practical tasks that consolidated the theory. The teacher was always in touch, explaining controversial points. As a result, we made a personal project that can be used for a portfolio.
Feedback on training, I really liked studying with you, it's interesting, a well-designed course , I also want to note Vitaly's teacher , how much information he gave it was a buzz , the only thing difficult was with the project, I was on a strong stress in time and responsibilities , and when I started doing the feeling that you don't know anything , in in the process of doing the dz , everything is OK , but the project has started and something has become wrong). I wonder how the relationship with tms will develop further. I will come to study again , but not much later , maybe I will start again in the summer
I studied in the direction of "Game developer on Unreal Engine", in general, I was very satisfied)
In many schools, as far as I know, teaching is practiced through recordings and videos, but here the format of direct communication in class with the teacher is used, which, in my opinion, is the best. When you can immediately ask for clarification if you did not understand something, and not only the teacher answers you, but also other students - you feel that you are not trying to climb this mountain alone and in general there remains a feeling that the group is like one community.
The material is served well, it is clear, the number and length of classes are enough to take your time and go through the topics in detail. A lot of practice. I was pleased that the managers are accommodating in difficult situations, such as I was given the opportunity to pay a little less often, not once every three weeks, but once a month. And the transition from other platforms to a more convenient Discord for many was also very pleasant.
On the downside, it's a pity that we didn't have the teacher we originally announced (Nikolai), and the teachers changed twice during the course. His background was one of the motivations to choose this particular school. But this is not a reproach to the rest of the teachers, if anything) They all did a great job too, and it was even interesting to hear different opinions about game development.
To sum up, everything is fine, I didn't regret anything at all; I became smarter in a year of courses than in 4 years of university😂
I studied at school on the course "Manual testing", it was very interesting and I learned a lot of new information for myself, despite the fact that I already worked in this specialization.
The teachers are super friendly and will always answer the question.
Overall, I really liked it, I recommend this school!
I took a course on automation in C#. I've been working as an automator for six months now. The teacher Alexander conveyed the basic knowledge in a very understandable language with which it was already possible to perform work tasks. The training format seemed very convenient to me. Any questions and comments were resolved immediately.
I took courses in UX|UI Design and was very pleased with the training. It is convenient that the classes were held in life mode and it was always possible to ask questions. I really liked Ksyusha's teaching. She can explain clearly and in simple language. I liked that there were a lot of additional materials. I also want to say thank you for enlightening me what to do after the course, because I didn't know some things before. I didn't find any disadvantages for myself. I was satisfied with everything. Thank you! 🙂
I studied Frontend development online. Before that, an acquaintance studied at school (offline), who successfully got a job as a developer. The course is attractive because the training takes place live, and not on video recordings, which, of course, can then be reviewed and repeated the material covered. If you are not ready to devote 3-5 hours every day to study and think that they will have time to explain everything to you in class, then do not waste your time. First of all, you must understand that you need it, and the teacher and the courses are needed only to correct you, give up-to-date information on the direction, check your work, sort out mistakes. I think that this organization has coped with its task. The fact that some write that the course lasted longer than promised. It took me a month longer than planned, and it helped me deal with a difficult topic and devote more time to it. Natalie's layout teacher had a great time during the first part of the course. I was very pleased. The 2nd part of the course was more difficult, but I coped. 2 months after completing the course, I got a job at an IT company.
I took a course in UX/UI Design. Only positive emotions remained. The first thing I would like to note is that, in my opinion, we were very lucky to have a teacher. Ksenia Chumikova taught us. Everything was super clear and interesting! Ksenia has fulfilled all my expectations! Smart, educated, intelligent and friendly. Ksusha has a very competent speech, which is important to me. In general, everything was as I imagined. The course itself is very interesting, but the pace is certainly frenzied. Sometimes there wasn't even enough time to eat. They gave a lot of information, including for independent study. But the strongest survives)) The homework was analyzed in great detail, everything was clear and accessible. In general, I did not regret that I chose this course. The basic knowledge is unambiguously obtained.
I liked the training as a whole, our mentor was great, he told us everything, shared his experience, and assessed us fairly)The time spent was not stressful, but very interesting)Besides, I personally found an internship)
Good afternoon!
My studies at TeachMeSkills were a real challenge, but I am proud that I successfully defended my graduation project. Although I don't feel like a full-fledged specialist yet, the school has really created a good foundation for me as a future product analyst. On my part, it remains only to polish and improve the knowledge gained.
As for the impressions, they remained positive.
I would improve the lessons by adding lessons every five lectures, for example, by repeating the studied material, as it was in the last lesson on retrospect. Repetition helps to consolidate knowledge and improve skills. And also to form questions on unclear points.
Thank you for studying!
The teacher is Alexander Vysotaev, the group is PA03-onl.
She graduated from the Frontend Developer course at TeachMeSkills.
I liked the training, I took the knowledge to the maximum) in some places it was hard, because the knowledge is new.
I am happy and proud of the final project, I can't even believe that I was able to do everything myself) thank you very much for the training)
