I really liked the museum. Houses and utensils were moved, as well as the surroundings of houses of the 9th-18th centuries from different places in Georgia were recreated. So far, there are not so many restored houses that you can go inside - 5-6. Each one has a guide who tells about the history of these houses and the way of life of the people who lived in them. They are very friendly, they will additionally answer about the subjects of interest and customs, if you did not have enough information told. The only disadvantage is that it is inconvenient to get there, you need to go by car or taxi, or walk along the highway without a sidewalk)
An amazing museum! It gives an idea of the way of life and traditions of all regions of the country.
In addition, I was lucky enough to get to the performance of the Didgorifolk musical group, completely free of charge, for the cost of entrance tickets to the museum.
You need to hear it with your own ears in this place!!!
A piece of Georgia's soul lives here.
I recommend it!
Architecture, houses and household items with a century-old history from all over Georgia.
Crafts, masterclasses, atmospheric.
It is a very cinematic place that the guests of Tbilisi know little about. Breathtaking views from the mountain to modern Tbilisi. I highly recommend it. Confident 5+
It's the most unusual museum format I've ever seen. Houses from different regions of Georgia, collected by an enthusiastic ethnographer on a large territory of a Green park. I tell all my friends - no one has even heard of this place. We need more advertising!
We came twice, but did not get on the tour, because the football championship was watched here twice, everything was prepared for the fans, we could not get into the museum) take into account all these events when planning a trip to the museum. There are often some open-air events) the price is 20 GEL per adult and 6 GEL per child
A gorgeous museum! It's big and very interesting. Inside some houses there are guides who conduct a mini-tour (they can in Russian). The price-quality ratio is good
There are caretakers in the houses who tell about the family who lived in the house. All the houses are real, brought from different parts of Georgia. I'll have to go downhill.
A very interesting idea of the museum. The guides are friendly, speak Russian, it was pleasant and informative to listen to them. There were not enough signs on the territory, at the far exposition, where the old ruined church, I would also like to see an information stand. It would be great to add an audio guide.
It is interesting to walk in good weather. Not everything is open for some reason. Life in rural houses is very similar, that's why I want to see different houses, but it was closed.
I'm sure the place is interesting, but I didn't get there. The entrance to the ethnographic park. And I was on the Turtle Lake side. He did not climb over the fence, but did not go down. I chose an alternative option for active recreation. But it's definitely worth a visit.
An interesting place, not all the houses were open during our visit, and there was a little lack of information from the guides, but in any case we had a nice time
A wonderful museum displaying the traditional rural architecture and way of life of Georgia. From a series of open-air museums created in the 20th century in different regions of the USSR. There is a large area on the mountainside, you need to be ready for a long walk.
An interesting place, historically informative and revealing. Old houses, life and structure of Georgians in the 18th and 19th century. I recommend going.
I liked the museum. He is just what is commonly called authentic. This place contains ancient houses and household items from different regions of Georgia. You can take a walk and watch. If you walk a little further, there will be a cable car (wonderful photos are guaranteed) and a lake. We were at the end of winter, so we just sat in a cozy restaurant overlooking this lake. In summer, there's probably a local resort there.
He visited the museum in March 2024.
The impressions are so-so: to wander around an empty village - well, that's it.
There was no access inside the interesting-looking houses, even the courtyards were closed. There are no expositions outside the houses either. I admit that it's not the season now and everything is much more interesting in the summer, but then it shouldn't cost 20 GEL.

An excellent open-air museum.
Historical houses transported from all over Georgia.
Guides and museum staff will answer questions and tell you about the exhibits
Super! I liked everything! The caretaker administrators are very friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone talked about their regions and homes! I highly recommend it

It's a pity we were late in the fall. But I still really liked this original place. In the original historical houses there were servants who willingly told (including in Russian and for any number of guests) about the Georgian way of life. You can not only walk around the territory, but also drive electric cars with responsive drivers, practically guides. No additional expenses-only the cost of the entrance ticket. Turtle Lake is not far from this park. You can walk.
A good open-air museum, but it requires reconstruction and there is not enough money for everything in Georgia. Some parts of the museum look abandoned, roads and trees require maintenance and a change of concept is needed...but in principle it is interesting...
Admission is 20 GEL for an adult, 5 for a student. We were on a day off, there were heaps of schoolchildren on that day. Because of this, it was almost impossible to get into the only 3-4 open houses on the territory of the museum. It was clear that the guides were also tortured because of the large flow. Nevertheless, I think that they visited in vain
