The place is quite big and there are many areas that are left wild and many others that are not accessible because of dangers of various types (usually fall of materials). Though, the paths can take you away from the noises of the city, to be surrounded mainly by the ever present singing of cicadas. Some views from above are amazing and, for about the garden, what I enjoyed the most was the part close to the river and the waterfall which is better kept. At the end of the visit you might wish to take the cable car from mother Georgia to go back to town.

A very good place to walk. I liked the large number of water sources (waterfalls, rivers and fountains with drinking water). I was walking along a hiking trail from past Narikala and the finish point was the Botsad (entrance next to the mosque)). Go through the entire kindergarten to the waterfall. There is a bamboo grove, a garden, a beautiful view and an ascent to the Mother of Georgia, from where you can go down the cable car for 2.5 Laras to Rike Park

A very nice botanical garden. You can walk all day and still not have time to see everything. There are many interesting plants, a beautiful gorge with a river, there are drinking fountains everywhere (so even in the hottest weather you can't die of thirst). The landscape is perfectly complemented by the walls and buildings of the ancient fortress. I recommend that you definitely visit.

We didn't get to the Botanical Garden right away — we wanted to several times, but we didn't have time because it closes early, at 19:30.
We really liked the inside. The garden is located in a picturesque gorge behind Mother Georgia. There are paths along the river, waterfalls, bridges and a lot of greenery and flowers. I especially liked the pond with croaking frogs and the tall bamboo.
Of the disadvantages, except for early closing, there is no food on site. I understand that there is less garbage this way, but we were very hungry and would have been happy to intercept something at the entrance. Therefore, I advise tourists: take a snack with you. We saw several companies having small picnics by the river.
We will come here again the next time we arrive.

Now the place in Tbilisi is quiet, fresh and beautiful. You can walk in this park forever-it's very, very big. There are not enough places to buy water, although it may be better-tents with souvenirs will spoil the atmosphere of the garden.

When visiting the fortress, it was possible to visit the botanical garden, which is located at the bottom, where the stairs lead. A very picturesque and well-groomed place where you can walk for a long time. It turned out great photos, especially at the waterfall. There are many different types of plants, a beautiful artificial pond in the center of the park with lotuses. When you walk here, you forget about the hustle and bustle and reflect on the beautiful creations of our Creator.

We were there in January - not the best time, nature is still asleep, but the forest itself, the waterfall and the atmosphere in the garden are amazing all year round. Set aside a whole day for a walk :)
A park on a mountain, far from the trails and the city, and this is a huge plus - you can't hear the hum of the bustle. There are many paths, there are unambiguous ones, with tiles and asphalt, but if you want to turn into the "jungle", benches and lighting are also provided. The abundance of plants is impressive, both local and a lot of exotic ones. Very well maintained, clean, birdsong and the sound of falling water from all sides (there are 2 waterfalls on the territory). You can just walk, you can have a picnic, you can go down on a cable car. Or you can climb up the stairs to the cliff - there is already a tourist place, an ancient fortress, a monument to the Mother of Georgia, tents with souvenirs and snacks, musicians. And from there, take the funicular down to Central Park, next to the Peace Bridge.

This place is incredible. Here, for the first time in a long time, I felt something wonderful when it snows in December, fluffy and slow, and flowers grow, with open buds, and such bright bushes as in summer. There aren't many people. Entrance is paid. There are a lot of plants, trees, a waterfall, a lake. I was thrilled!!!!!! You can hold a photo shoot here, or schedule a business meeting so that you can talk on a walk, there were few people in winter. For me, this place has become a place of natural strength and harmony. I will definitely visit him on my next visit to Georgia.
