It's rediculous to waight for your order in Tbilisi for 1,5 hours to be ready. If you don't want to waste your pretious time, just choose anover place!
It's a very cool place. Nice design, very tasty food, large portions, good service. They took kharcho, khachapuri, eggplant and khinkali, and took some of them with them. Kharcho is divine, khinkali in 5++, eggplant is good. There weren't many people, because the time between lunch and dinner, I don't know how it is here in the evening, the hall is small, it may be noisy. The best place for this trip to Tbilisi
We came 2 nights in a row: the first time we liked everything, the only thing was that we cooked for a long time - we waited for meat and khinkali for 50 minutes. But in general, the atmosphere, the interior, the proximity to the hotel - everything was fine, so we decided to return tomorrow for dinner.
The next afternoon, they called and booked a table for 21 o'clock. We arrived on time, no one was happy to see us anymore, the waitresses seemed clearly disappointed with our arrival, although they were smiling the day before, and my husband left a good tip when paying.
When we sat down at the table and started choosing, the waitress said that today they were up to 22. At 21 o'clock, no one warned me during the day when they called and ordered a table for that time. We probably wouldn't have planned a dinner with them.
Okay, we ordered it anyway, we're waiting. The salad and wine arrived quickly. The meat was waited for 35 minutes. That leaves 25 to eat… While we were eating, they glared at us and spoke in Georgian, pointing in our direction, so that we were already stuffing ourselves with food and wine against our will. The bill was handed out to us at 21.45, we didn't even wait until we asked for it ourselves - they strongly hinted that it was time to finish chewing and leave. The evening, of course, was ruined.
In general, we do not recommend it.
Catching the mood of the waiters and fawning over to eat?! Seriously??!! There are other establishments in Tbilisi where Russians will be very happy to spend money with them. And where we will readily leave them. But this is clearly not a Tavern.
