The location is great,in the city centre, food was very tasty, prices are good for a restaurant in the city centre and with tasty food and big portions, atmosphere was great, design as well, the only thing i didn't like was the strong smell of different food in the main hall, which means the ventilation was not good.

The restaurant is spacious. The surroundings are interesting. A little constructivism, a little ethnic decor. A good mix.
Polite staff. The waiter has five stars. Pleasant communication and comfortable service. Subtle humor.
The food was delicious and it was important that it was not over-salted, not over-peppered. If everything is national.
Delicious natural lemonades, excellent barbecue, salads are also local, soups. Everything is OK.
Of course, the wine is also excellent.
The portions are large (for us) and we took a lot with us.

We had a rest with our big friendly family at the Ararat tavern. Everything was fine: the menu was varied, everything was cooked very tasty (shish kebab is the best in Yerevan!) and, what pleased me, fast, very attentive waiters, live music - amazing, the whole family danced!! We had a rest with my husband in Yerevan, on the advice of our guide we went to the Ararat tavern, how we liked it! A very atmospheric place, friendly waiters, thanks to Gevorg for the high-quality and fast service. We took eggplant rolls with nut filling - it's wow! This is the first time I've eaten such tender ones! I tried lentil soup for hot, and my husband tried lamb shank, he said that he was ready to eat such mutton every day! We recently visited the Ararat tavern with our friends and didn't regret a bit. The hall is beautiful, spacious and cozy. The dishes here are very diverse, as they say, for every taste and color. We personally took the Ararat salad, a set of cold appetizers, and also decided to try eggplant rolls with nut filling, which turned out to be very tasty. We had a rest with our family at the Ararat tavern, everyone is delighted! The menu is varied, the staff is polite. We ordered a set of snacks, lentil soup, side dishes of yarakh, msho fillet, eggplant rolls, veal chalahaj and of course cold cuts. Just wow! During the week, many similar establishments were visited in Armenia, but nowhere was it so delicious. I also want to pay attention to the waiter Arthur, who worked with us. We tried Armenian cuisine for the first time, so we didn't understand the names at all, then Arthur came to the rescue. And in general, the atmosphere in the institution was cozy, I can only give 5 stars!

We came on vacation with my sister . We started exploring Yerevan with a full stomach, of course, and decided to visit the Ararat Tavern. We definitely liked everything! The place is clean, noticeable, the waiters are polite, the dish is delicious, the food is served quickly. From the large menu, we decided to try shish kebab, which was fragrant, soft and incredibly delicious, salad, eggplant rolls with nut filling, unusual but delicious , fragrant red wine, which had never been tasted before. This is the best restaurant in Yerevan, where we had a really delicious meal and ate. I think we'll come again.

There is a sense of hospitality from the entrance, the cuisine is delicious, the waiters are very polite, the service is fast, for the first time I tried ishkhan fish here, the taste is unusual for me, but pleasant.

The Ararat Tavern is a place where you want to come back again and again!
We recently visited this place and were absolutely delighted. From the very first minutes you immerse yourself in the atmosphere of warmth and comfort. The interior is decorated in Armenian style, which gives the feeling of traveling to a picturesque corner of Armenia.
As for the kitchen, it's just a masterpiece! Each dish was prepared with love and skill. I would especially like to mention kebabs, dolma and fragrant lavash, which is served hot directly from the oven. Drinks are also excellent, especially pomegranate juice and homemade wines.
Service is a separate respect! The waiters are polite, attentive, but unobtrusive. Everything was served on time, and the smiles of the staff created a good mood.
If you are looking for a place for a cozy evening with your family, a romantic dinner or a meeting with friends, the Ararat Tavern is perfect! I recommend it to everyone, and I will definitely come back again.

I put four stars only for the staff, the waiters are handsome, the hostesses are polite and friendly, the maitre d' is just a darling. Now, what I didn't like, firstly, the prices are too high. Dishes: roast pork is over-dried, cucumbers in the salad were bitter, it is impossible to eat. First of all, because of the large number of people. We celebrated a birthday and of course the atmosphere was spoiled by the fact that foreigners came in a big noisy crowd, apparently after the tour, 30 people in sports clothes, some kind of disheveled, it spoiled the whole flavor of this place. And of course, for such a famous place, the table setting is lame, very simply.

It's just great! The chicken kebab turned out to be incredibly delicious — I returned for it several times. The meat is very tender, and you should order a sauce for it (although I didn't notice it on the menu), it's tomato with herbs and onions, slightly spicy — it goes perfectly with meat and bread. The Greek salad is also delicious, that's my weakness. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. I would especially like to mention the level of service: the staff is friendly, courteous and helpful, everything is in moderation, without excess. Customer orientation is at a high level. I especially want to single out Harutyun — he is a very friendly and pleasant person, he escorted me to the table, since I was alone, it was very nice)) Waiter Garik is also on top, it was he who recommended the sauce, and it was just great! I would like to mention this tavern and the waiter Karen. At first glance, it is not a particularly noticeable and eye-catching institution, but going inside, the interior is impressive (colorful), and the kitchen is 😋😋😋

We came to Yerevan with our family for a visit, and the next day we arrived at this restaurant. There is such a pleasant atmosphere inside: comfort, humor, live music, pleasant staff. Our waiter was Arthur, he offered us lamb hashlama with potatoes and Ararat salad, honestly, I haven't tried this yet, it's something unreal, and my favorite lentil soup, now I don't know how to eat it at home, apparently we're staying here). We recently had dinner with a friend at the Ararat tavern and were very impressed. We ordered veal tongue with vegetables - the dish is simply delicious, the meat is tender, the vegetables are perfectly cooked. I would like to express special gratitude to our waiter Vladimir! He was very attentive and friendly, helped with the choice of dishes and made the evening even more enjoyable. Good afternoon. We visited the wonderful Ararat tavern with my husband.
Arthur, the waiter, greeted us and escorted us to a table. After that, the waiter served the menu.
We decided on the drinks quickly, but not on the menu. It is diverse. And then the waiter Arthur came to our aid again, told us what the dishes were made of, asked for preferences.
What I chose: eggplant rolls with nut filling, veal tongue with vegetables. My husband chose lamb shank with Ararat salad. To say that it was all delicious is to say nothing. Excellent menu, tender meat, friendly staff, we thank the waiter Arthur for his help in choosing dishes. We will recommend it and we will look here more than once! Prosperity and all the best!

My husband was advised Lamb shank and Lentil soup with kaurma, and I took Ararat salad and eggplant rolls with nut filling and it's just delicious. It was very tasty.
