We are very glad to have been here!
We took the cable car to the monastery.
The views are very beautiful and it was interesting to walk around the still undeveloped surroundings of the monastery!
It is very beautiful and interesting! Both from a natural and cultural-architectural point of view, everything is fine. Of all the monasteries in Armenia that I have seen, this is the best, even if not the most ancient!
One of the beautiful viewpoints of Mount Ararat. By the way, there is a cafe opposite, we had lunch here, the most delicious pork from all the places we tried in Armenia. There are many trees growing, including almonds. For the first time we saw and knocked down a bunch. However, in the land of stones there is nothing to break them with. According to the legend, told by the wonderful driver Ovik, in this place Charents liked to lay by the collar, admiring Ararat and then wrote his works under the impression and, probably, the most delicious Armenian wine. The views are really beautiful. I highly recommend it. The place is not big, but iconic.
