The beaches of Turkey on the Mediterranean Sea are certainly gorgeous. It's wide and the sand is nice. There were five of us. We took 4 deck chairs for 200 lire. We settled down under two umbrellas and stretched a tent awning between them. And it turned out to be a large space in the shade. It was hot. We were by car and waited all day for the ferry to Cyprus. Therefore, it was necessary to escape from the sun somehow. We had a great time. I've heard a lot of different things about Mersin before. We did not enter the city itself, but took a detour. But we liked Tashuju. Quietly. There aren't many people. The beaches are great!
I come to this beach every year!let's start with the pros; swimming is very convenient, you enter the water almost immediately to the waist and a little further to the chest, and such a depth is far enough away that you can swim far from the shore without any problems, even for those who do not know how to swim.there is a sports ground, as well as stalls with drinks and ice cream, a mini market and a hotel right by the beach.a little further away there are 500 meters of cafes and a bunch of shops.including grocery items. You can have a delicious meal.
On the downside, the beach sand with rough pebbles and always mixed with debris from sunflower seeds and cups, the beach itself is long but narrow, 5 meters from the pedestrian path to the water is not comfortable, prices have increased 3 times over the next couple of years.
A great place to relax. Nature, beaches, transport interchange, cafes - everything is at an excellent level. I am not a fan of noisy recreation, Tusudzhu is the place where you can relax your soul.
Municipal beach. It's dirty. The sand is of poor quality. The beach infrastructure is present, but leaves much to be desired. The sea is relatively clear, but it is better to sail away from the shore. There are a lot of tourists from among the townspeople and visitors from the surrounding villages.
The beach is not big, there is a lot of garbage, close to the port, there is only one playground along the entire territory, it could be more interesting... The lanterns shine beautifully at night. Beautiful view of the sea and mountains during the day!
The sand is wonderful, brought from Egypt, large, almost white. Cafes, a lot of positive people, cats, a cozy atmosphere. In general, it is worth spending an evening there and meeting the sunset.
Sea, service, silence, free of charge. On the downside: there are a lot of cigarette butts, and sometimes people steal things. The water is cleaner in the morning than in the evening. Sometimes crushed plastic floats (from ships, most likely) and fish start biting in the fall)
An absolutely amazing place. Warm water in the middle of October. Calm sea. There is enough space, there are sun beds, umbrellas to protect from the sun, changing rooms, the beach is sandy, the descent into the sea is gentle, the bottom is very clean, there are no stones, there is not much entertainment, but we did not need to, we came for the wrong reason! We came to this place for the second time, I recommend it. 10 out of 10!
A normal sandy beach, though on the one hand an ever-expanding port, on the other a parking lot for boats and yachts. There are rocks in the water opposite the Marina Hotel
The beach is not equipped with anything, nothing is cleaned, cigarette butts, bottles, wrappers, bags are all on the shore, and the bags are even floating in the water. There are places to eat with children, ice cream, tea, sweets. The sea is clean, but during my visit it was a bit cold. 19-20 gr. water, but we still swam. The overall impression of Tashuju is not bad, I liked everything.
The beach is sandy, the entry into the water is quite long, a beautiful embankment, a small clean town, a lot of ours because of a large construction site nearby)
The beach is like a beach. Like in Anapa. Payment for a sunbed, umbrella and baklava beer vendors. It is better to get away from people, along the coast about 5 km. There's the sea, nature, and a scattering of seashells on the shore...
It's a great place. There are sun beds and umbrellas. The cafe is all within walking distance. Sandy bottom, small pebbles beach. Clean enough for a city beach
Tazhuju beach is crowded in summer, and the development of the port also causes a lot of dirt. Do you want a nice beach? Come to Kum mahale beach, it is very close, towards Silifke.
Sandy beach, sometimes with pebbles. Smooth entry into the water. The depth increases gradually. The water is clean. There are sun loungers on the beach, but they are paid. There is not much entertainment.
An interesting town, which now has more Russians than Turks)) a small cozy town with an active infrastructure of shops, cafes and the main sea, clean, warm, beach sand with shells, but in general, swimming slippers are solved, due to the large residence of Russians, the price tag is very high for Turkey both for accommodation and in cafes... It is not very convenient to get there yet...
The beach differs from the norms generally accepted by us. There is not enough cleanliness. It is still in the design stage. But the development process is going fast enough. The Mersin area itself was not a resort area. The city of Mersin is a large Turkish regional center.
The city is quite bright, there are large shopping malls.
Russian bank cards are not accepted. You can pay in cash (lira).
But the areas of Mersin (villages) are less convenient for recreation. The development was achieved thanks to the construction of the Akkuyu NPP. It is convenient to get from Adana airport.
It takes about an hour to drive from Alan to Mersin.
The districts of Mersin and all surrounding areas have started
Nice beach. Marina has her own umbrellas and sun beds. You can find bags and cups in the water, the proximity to the city pier leaves its mark.
In Kumkalesi, the beach and the water are cleaner.
Nice beach! There is an area with sand and small pebbles, there are umbrellas and sun beds. There is a shop and a playground nearby

Great beach, sand, good entrance. Few people (it was in November). The sea is clean. Nearby there are souvenir shops, a street with cafes. Very beautiful sunset in the bay.
Well-maintained sandy beach, beautiful promenade, clear sea

It's unpleasantly dirty this year - garbage, cigarette butts, husks from filming in huge quantities...you have to relax in the area with sun loungers - at least they clean up there somehow. Dogs also don't color existence on the beach. The sea is also not ale this year - there is too much crushed garbage...and when the wind blows, the water is too dirty. In general, there is a stretch of 3 beaches...
Good access to the sea, soft sand underfoot. The sea is very beautiful and warm, we were in September. The downside is that there are a lot of cigarette butts and sunflower husks on the beach mixed with pebbles.
A gorgeous beach, the water is much cleaner than in the city. The surroundings at sunset are fascinating. Shallow, even moving 100m away from the shore, it is convenient to relax with children.
There is sand, but it is dirty, corks, cigarette butts. Cigarette butts are especially annoying.
For this region, the beginning of October is the best time to relax
The beach is not bad, there are options to find an umbrella for free so as not to get burned. It's not very comfortable with a stroller. The most unpleasant thing is that
there is a lot of garbage on the shore, seeds, cigarette butts, bottles.(
The width of the beach area is quite narrow. Deck chairs and showers are PAID. The entrance to the water is sandy, but there are places with small pebbles.
