A huge Soviet-built post office building. Very nice staff, they told me everything, helped me fill out the paperwork. They also bought water stamps of Uzbekistan there.
I send only letters from the Main Post Office and only registered ones with a track number. This is a guarantee that the letter will definitely reach you. The staff is friendly, they will explain everything and there is a place where you can fill out the address if you buy an envelope in this building. Anyway, you can write a letter while you have the time and opportunity. The building is large.
It's nice to be here.
A nice place, quiet and sparsely populated. Polite and caring staff. There are small queues, literally several people at a time. The order is monitored by vigilant security, which also helps visitors navigate, well done, everything is organized at a decent level.
The work of public services such as the post office in Uzbekistan exists on the principle of "who understands life, he is in no hurry." Initially, I wanted to send a parcel from Samarkand, but the system hung there for two days and sent it after moving to the neighboring city of Tashkent. The room is large (even too large) and comfortable. There are practically no queues. Different windows for different purposes. The queue is only going to those where the parcels are. But the system hung up again, and with the quick registration and packaging of the parcel itself, I had to wait another 30-40 minutes for the technical support staff, who manually overloaded and reconnected something. The result has been achieved - I was able to send a message from Uzbekistan to the UK (now there are sanctions from Moscow). And it arrived two weeks faster than the postcard that I sent in the same post office to myself in Moscow as a keepsake
The Soviet Empire, but the fact is that registering an IMEI turned out to be a great problem, after standing in two queues, filling out a slip of paper, they never registered the IMEI. There is already one registered to my number. But what to do when the family is big and there are three children, and you buy three iPhones, not one??? Stand in two queues, fill out a form, then you will be sent far away.... On the labzak… It's just awful! It's easier to do it from illegal immigrants on Malik, three times more expensive, but without this hassle.
Tashkent's main post office is a building with an atmosphere reminiscent of Soviet times (or so it seems to me). Accordingly, the building was built before independence. Despite this, it is very cool inside the building in summer and warm in winter. I often had the opportunity to send letters by mail and used the services of this department. Courteous staff who fulfill their obligations in a timely and high-quality manner.
It was necessary to register an IMEI code for an individual. The staff suggested a detailed algorithm, everything was successful. And it is also a beautiful spacious building. Polite and professional staff
Maintenance class:quickly, clearly, competently.
The staff is courteous, polite, knowledgeable, in a word, professionals.
The post office itself is comfortable, spacious, and clean.I have been using the services of this post office for 20 years..Satisfied
From the point of view of work, everything is standard as everywhere else. There are no big queues. The employees work sluggishly, but they do their job. More interesting from the point of view of history. This is a building of Soviet seismic modernism with an old Soviet interior in a style close to modernism and minimalism.
The post office services are good. But at the expense of parking the car "0" there is no parking. There are signs everywhere. Immediately issue a fine for stopping.
I'm thrilled. I sent letters and a parcel on December 5 and by Christmas everything was received in integrity and safety! I did not even dream that I would have time to reach the new year! And before that, I also sent regular letters to America and Canada and everything came very quickly for about 2 weeks! Thank you very much!
In my opinion, the guys need to think about how to start keeping up with the times. Everything is very slow.

I really like the main post offices where you can send mail and registered letters conveniently, but there is no bus stop after children.the world and still have to go a lot, I don't like it. And buses are not allowed to stop there.
Most likely, this was the case 30 years ago.
I work with responsive people.
There is a man working at the postcard kiosk who can immerse himself in the history of Uzbek traditions.
I was making out a phone not so long ago, it was clean, spacious, there were few people, the queue passed quickly, without delay, the staff was polite. I can't say anything about the parcels, well, I think there are no problems sending or receiving them.
Spacious hall, city center. The phone's IMEI can only be registered in this branch. This operation is performed from 9.00, although the department itself is from 8
The main post office (post office) , a huge hall , probably under communism, a lot of people gathered there . I order parcels only at the main post office, so it arrives faster. It 's bad that our post office works the old -fashioned way . It is uninformative, unciphered, and out of date. The service is good, the staff is polite, they have a huge like =)
One of the disadvantages is there is nowhere to park, stop signs are prohibited everywhere - traffic cops go. Please ask the administration of the post office to remove the signs on the alley, at least from the side of the post office.
In this institution, it is necessary to register SIM cards. Obviously, this is done for the guests of the city. But, unfortunately, I did not meet any inscriptions in a language other than Uzbek. It's a bit illogical. In general, employees work quickly, but it's a little difficult to figure out where to go and which window.
I was pleasantly surprised by the speed of parcel delivery. The only thing that annoys you every time is it's very dark inside. And I feel a little sorry for the women who work on the delivery of parcels, carry bags themselves
Soviet premises. Clean, spacious. People are responsive and patient. Everything is provided. It is better to plan a visit for the first half of the day. There are a lot of people in the evening.
There is no parking, there is nowhere to park the car, there are only signs around the building that stop is prohibited. There are a lot of currency traders on the street. I do not advise you to come in your own car.
I liked the service and the spacious building)
Everyone wanted to help, and they helped. An old Soviet building, yes, but neat. In general, I must say, they won't leave you in trouble in Tashkent))
Thanks!
Well, it is possible to send postcards to friends, there is a selection of excellent postage stamps. Everyone is trying to help you) this is probably a characteristic feature of the nation)
The staff is very helpful. Politely and culturally. It is not well developed technically. A lot of manual work hence the long wait. The queue is slow. There is a lunch break. It must be borne in mind.
It looks and equipment almost like the post office of the Soviet Union, but it impresses on the positive side with kindness and patience when communicating with employees. Russian Russian is not spoken more often by the guards at the entrance, but the employees in the windows speak Russian well and will always explain what needs to be done. The only drawback is that the registration of a phone brought from abroad can only be done on working days during business hours.
Guys, it's time to make repairs. It's a terrible place. There is little light, it is dirty. The service is also terrible. I wanted to register the IMEI, but they said in the window that the program does not work. I went to the IMEI office - everything works. In general, I do not recommend it. It's a complete mess.
A beautiful building, a large hall, but the service is much better, remnants of all the past than the present! It's worth coming in to see how it was in the union. :)
