A very unusual and extraordinary design that somehow manages to fit into the overall architecture of the city. It is located in a wonderful location from which you can go to other sights of Prague.
I definitely advise you to visit.
But I definitely wouldn't live in such a house)))
This is one of the best architectural ensembles in Prague and at the same time one of the most successful sites for photos and selfies with views of Prague Castle! This is a great atmospheric cafe!👌😹
An interesting place! At the very top there is an open terrace with a beautiful view of the city. Admission costs 100 CZK. With this money, you are offered a choice of drinks or a cup of coffee.
It's nothing special, you can't take a picture next to it, only from the intersection. I don't recommend going to watch it on purpose, it's not worth it.
As a landmark - beautiful, as a hotel - decent, as a rooftop bar - fierce ***** (Yandex rejects swear words), cocktails are diluted, the people are packed. It's better to come to the roof for breakfast
Before a business trip to the Czech Republic, my colleague and I roughly estimated our workload and identified a number of attractions for mandatory visits, including the Dancing House in Prague. We were a little upset when the work took longer, we got off late, decided to have a quick snack in an outdoor cafe near the hotel. We managed to order a steak at the closing kitchen, took a mug of beer.... I felt a little better.
Expressing regret that I did not have time to visit the dancing house, I took up the delicious steak. A colleague, who was on a business trip abroad for the first time, asked me, sipping beer, what this house looked like. I explained, he smiled cheerfully and pointed behind me- like this? When I turned around, I couldn't believe my eyes! The dancing house turned out to be very close, and the dream of enjoying an unusual architectural structure came true, once again proving that the thought is material!
The structure consists of two cylindrical towers: normal and destructive. The dancing house is an architectural metaphor for a dancing couple, jokingly called Ginger and Fred. One of the two towers, the one that expands upwards, symbolizes the male figure (Fred), and the second part of the building visually resembles a female figure with a thin waist and a skirt fluttering in the dance (Ginger)
Thanks to the architects for such a project, which was supervised by Vaclav Havel himself, who was the President of the Czech Republic at that time.
Excellent hotel, warm, cozy, neat, everything works, friendly staff, checked into the room two hours before the check-in, forgave the broken glass. And most importantly, it is a landmark of the city, with stunning views of the city and Prague Castle! An unforgettable experience!
They say it's a deconstructivist style.
A funny architectural work of art in Prague, an office building.
It is not located in the center, but all tourists must be taken past it.
The 1996 project was recognized by the world architectural community as the best project of the year. Ginger and Fred, she and he merged in the dance. Beautiful! Especially in the evening, in the backlight
There is an observation deck at the top with a pleasant view of the river and the old town. Admission is 100 CZK, but free of charge when buying any drink at the bar on the 7th floor

It's a strange house, but interesting. On the top floor there is a beautiful view, We drank delicious coffee. I advise you to visit, it is very interesting.
The house is pretty overrated in my opinion. Well, it looks like a dancing couple. And also to the spaceship vostok6 from Deniskin's stories. The main thing is that this is a good landmark, and there are plenty of beautiful houses in Prague without it.
