I came home from Tashkent today. Glory to Allah aman yesen! Tashkent is a very beautiful city that you need to visit at least once! But there is one thing!!!
Everyone is complaining about the Kazakh border guards, like a queue, like they are extorting money... Pure lies and provocation!!! He came with his family to the post of Zhibek Zholy and passed our side within 30 minutes, and now it was the turn of the Uzbek side... It's just a tin, a horror... I stood in line for almost 4 hours, they tore off the money for tinting the car (I thought that tinting was prohibited at all. It turns out not, they go to the trash tinted. Honestly, I did not understand the joke) They are forced to unload all the contents. Rummaging through things. After the inspection, the car is sent to the parking lot, and things are frozen to be carried manually (pure mockery). They talk impudently and with mockery, there is no culture of communication!!!
The spouse with 5 children passed separately, the youngest is 9 months old and there, for money, Uzbek border guards escorted people out of line. It's generally tinny. Our side, both for departure and entry, passed in a maximum of half an hour. Well done! Respect to the KAZAKH BORDER GUARDS for this!!!

We traveled by car from Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan. We were amazed by the queue. We found out that people are standing in line for days to get to the border. There are helpers, for money they offer to drive to the Kazakh checkpoint without waiting in line. We used their service, may everyone who was waiting in line forgive us, but they let us through out of line. As a result, the Kazakh side passed quickly. And then... the queue to get to the Uzbek side. Waiting for about an hour, then a thorough inspection, unclear registration (go there, go here, pay there, put a mark there), and the border is passed.

We passed the border from Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan on 11.11.24 from about 1600 to 17-00. We were traveling to Russia in a Russian car. I passed both borders quickly, there was no extortion and no lawlessness on the part of the employees of both customs offices. But one of my passengers with a Russian passport was discovered by customs officers on the Kazakh side in the hall... The bag seemed very big to them! And it started! As a result, they charged the guy 1000 rubles! Like that. I would never have given it! Let them call the shift supervisor, they write the act, but not on their hands.. So be careful. And I can tell the customs officers of Kazakhstan - sooner or later you will get caught on a bribe and become a taxi driver!

We left for Yalama post, 100 km away, we needed to go in that direction.
At first, the customs officers there did not want to let us pass in Yalama, they asked if WE were with an ESCORT? Then we saw those same "decided-escorted" in Yalama, they accompanied a group of drivers.
It turns out that the Kazakh customs officers in Yalama, those who are the first to stand at the gate, for money, by agreement with these officials, in favor of their own benefit, let motorists pass.

You arrived later than everyone else, and you can be escorted along the bus route for money. Most people's conscience does not allow it.
Here is a case from the last trip. In our stream, they offered to buy a queue. No one agreed and began to grumble, as someone behind us still drove down the "private corridor". One educated person called the authorities. And then the precinct officer came running, who took the help. But before that, a quarrel began, as people accused him of having a share of the help. But not caught is not a thief!
As a result, we were all quickly launched into the territory of the customs post. And they also caused problems there, asking us to blindly "gild the pen" until we proved our case, since we are traveling through Kazakhstan prepared legally. Local speculators are selling places in the queue.They offer to drive without queuing through another point (without queuing ) , do not see each other this is a cargo point , there is a very small chance that they will miss it . You will only lose time in the queue. There are shops with pleasant prices behind the fence. There is even an ice cream of 135 tenge. The prices are as in the normal store. Patience, everyone. You will get to article 545. Court, administrative detention, fines, and you will earn a lot of nerves with lost time. The car will be put in a parking lot!!!
We drove to the border by car on April 4, took a canister of gasoline with us, did not see anywhere that there was a ban. The border guards should have warned, but apparently this is already a well-developed scheme. As a result, the car was parked at the impound lot for a month and 1 day. There is a daily fee of 2000 tenge + a fine of 52,000 tenge for a fine. The examination of gasoline, the court, a lot of nerves. You have no rights, all the laws are valid only in theory, in practice they do not work, the attitude is terrible. We turned to a lawyer for advice, they said that you can fight, but it will take even longer. A lot of people fall for this trick. The law banning the export of gasoline was released only in January 2023, and then the ban is temporary for 6 months. But it is better to check everything before the trip, and even better to ask your friends from Kazakhstan about updating the laws.
Plan to cross the border by car on weekdays! Except on Fridays (everyone goes home from Shymkent), there are huge queues before the holidays and at their end. Until the police arrive, there is a mess with the queue. Stand for 4 hours or more. Be careful with money at the pedestrian border. But it's easier on the pedestrian border.

In a couple of hours, we missed 20 buses without a queue. And most importantly, we did not meet a single bus on the highway. And at the border, they go on and on without a break.
