We stayed here in September 2024 for 12 days, we liked almost everything.:
- convenient location in a quiet side street of Istanbul's main Istiklal street (respectively, there are many cafes and shops nearby, although there was only one grocery supermarket),
- price!
- everything is clean, tidy, cleaning on request,
- the room has everything you need: air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, refrigerator, hairdryer, hot water water - without interruptions.
- delicious breakfasts, without porridge (it turned out to be difficult to find porridge in Istanbul), but stable - fresh vegetables and fruits (including watermelon and grapes), boiled eggs or omelets, sausage, cheese, olives, cereals, bread, pastries,
- when it's not raining, you can have breakfast at tables outside, which was very pleasant.
Minuses:
- the size of the room (it's not critical, we only spent the night anyway), the hotel is located in an old house, so everything is miniature - foyer, elevator, corridors, rooms,
- the lack of a wardrobe (but this is inconvenient, all the clothes had to be hung on hooks in the hallway or just kept in a suitcase).
Initially, we booked a room with three beds, because we were with a 4-year-old child, but fortunately, upon check-in, the administrator offered another one with a double bed, but with a full shower (it turned out that the aggregator did not have a photo of the bathroom in that room for three, and there was no bathtub at all, just a shower the hose and drain are in the floor, somewhere near the toilet, for the first time in my life I saw this, to be honest), so be careful.
Excellent location, relatively low price, very friendly staff, but unfortunately, a lot of disadvantages. First of all, there was no heating in the room, I was being moved, it also stopped working there, and it's time to leave there. The room is not very carefully cleaned. There were few outlets, and there was no way to connect a refrigerator in one of the rooms, and a kettle in the other. Breakfast should be served from 9, but in fact only from 9-30.
The hotel is right on Istiklal (in an alley nearby, 50 m away).
The rooms are tiny, stated to be 15 m2, in fact God willing 10 m2.
We searched for a toilet in the room for a long time, I found myself at the foot of the third bed))), it's good that there is.
The Windows overlook the courtyard well. There's an elevator next to it, right through the wall, but you can hardly hear it))).
The elevator is about 70*80 cm in size, although it is supposed to accommodate three people, but two are even cramped (we are quite slender))).
The hotel has breakfast, a mini-buffet, but without hot, cereals, boiled eggs, sliced nuts, and tea/coffee bags.
But, of course, the very center, and the surroundings of the Beyoglu and Istiklal districts. The Galata Tower is about 5-7 minutes away, and the bridge is a 15–minute walk away. 20 minutes to Taksim Square and Havabus stop at airports
