It's a very atmospheric place. The colonial setting has been preserved, but air conditioning and modern plumbing have been added. One of the disadvantages is that outside of breakfast, which is included in a very affordable price, i.e. lunch or dinner is incredibly expensive - many times higher than in independent establishments. So it's better to take a taxi to the place of food.
I did not like it- the dirt in the building near the beach (we were well moved to another building), cold breakfasts, the assortment does not pull for 4*, the hotel territory is clean, beautiful, but it is not possible to walk, since it is hard to walk in the mountains. The staff is responsive, they did everything they needed to do! Far from the center, out of the way.
A very cool hotel, the staff is friendly, the rooms are spacious, there are almost no people, it is located away from the city itself, the beach is empty, the entrance to the sea is first sand, then a strip of stones, and then sand again
