It's very modest inside, but it's very beautiful and majestic outside. It's not exactly white, of course, but it's often bleached. The area around the Taj is also very beautiful. Lots of cool photo zones. Well, the contingent is as colorful as possible.
The price difference is very different for locals and foreigners. During our visit, the entrance fee was 10 rupees for locals and 750 for foreigners. There are already 1,100 rupees for the guests.

Traveling around India and not seeing the legendary Taj Mahal is the same as coming to Egypt but not swimming in the Red Sea.
This magnificent structure is located in the town of Agra. It was built in the 17th century by Shah Jahan, a descendant of Tamerlane himself. His third wife, Mumtaz, died during childbirth. The ruler was very sad and decided to perpetuate the memory of his beloved in the mausoleum. So the Taj Mahal is not only a beautiful architectural monument, but also a symbol of eternal love. It belongs to the Mughal era.
Definitely welcome to visit, the atmosphere is fire! You can recharge your batteries!

To tell the truth, this was not the first trip to India in my life. But I couldn't get to the Taj Mahal. And yet there was both the time and the opportunity.
I visited at the end of January. On the advice of friends, I went there early in the morning at 06:30. And it really was the right time. There is a long enough queue in front of the entrance to buy a ticket (10-15 minutes). Further inspection through the frame (cigarettes, lighters, etc. are not allowed to be carried inside, so it is better to leave all this in the hotel room). You need to take money, a phone, a cap and a good mood with you.
There are two types of tickets
1. To visit the park and the surroundings of the Taj Mahal.
2. Everything is the same as in the first one + the entrance to the Taj Mahal building itself
(It's better to take the 2nd option, it's worth it. And already inside, by the way, you can buy tickets for the entrance to the building).
In the early morning at sunrise, the building itself changes colors right before our eyes: gray-pink-yellow-gold... incredibly beautiful. The park is very well maintained and it feels like walking through a kingdom. Very impressive. Inside the building, you need to wear shoe covers (they are given out when buying a ticket) so as not to spoil the marble with shoes. The building itself is simply indescribably beautiful! It's really impressive!!
A couple of days later, it started at lunchtime and there were an unrealistic number of people, flashlights, and noise... so it's really better to walk at dawn.
I recommend you to visit if you find yourself in India! It's worth traveling these incredible thousands of kilometers for this.…
