The beach is worth visiting with clear water, the crowns of trees and palm trees provide shade, there is enough space for everyone to come to lunch to meet the sunset. Fruits, coconuts, beer are sold by vendors on the beach, there is no infrastructure, so bring a mat and a towel with you. Entry into the sea near the island of Intercontinental. There's a reef further away, and the locals are snorkeling there, but it's doubtful. The water is cleaner in the morning. A comfortable ride on a scooter through the shady streets is easy for 15 minutes from Dadonghai. There is no alternative nearby to this beach. We liked Dadonghai less.
Sooo cool place, it was the end of February and the beginning of March, the climate is excellent, for understanding how in the Crimea in early July, there is no humidity, the breeze is moderate, the only thing almost unusual for warm countries is the water temperature, in the morning 23,afternoon 25,26 ° C.
The food is Chinese, but everything is delicious (they couldn't eat the local cuisine in Sri Lanka), I haven't tried it.
I definitely recommend it
I really liked the beach, there is enough space to relax, it's great to lie under the palm trees when the sun is shining. There are no paddocks for swimming, unlike the neighboring Dadonghai Bay, the water is clear and there are no strong waves.
Great beach. A minimum of people, no "paddocks", no big waves like on the central beach of Dadonghai, the sea is clean and beautiful. The only thing with children is to have coral slippers (aquasocks) with you, it will be more comfortable for your feet to go into the water with them. The beach is clean, there are many palm trees with shade, you can choose the right one for yourself.
The beach is good, the entrance to the water is shallow, the sand is fine, but there are small pebbles, like the remains of clam shells. The sandy part of the beach is separated from the area with palm trees by a fence, there is a gate. It is better to settle under palm trees, in the shade, as the sun is too intense in Hainan. It's not easy to get to the beach, but it's worth it. I didn't give one star for that.
Good time of day, at the end of November we rested in Hainan, in Dadonghai Bay, we were on Xiaodadonhai beach twice, a very good cove, there are few people, you can have a lot of place and in the sun you can under palm trees, I really liked it. I recommend it.
A small bay with clear sea without pens and buoys like in Dodonghai Bay. The bottom is slightly coral-covered, so the water is not cloudy from the sand. Cons - there is no shower to rinse your feet and desalinate. And there are no normal approaches to the beach left, or we did not find it. There are no sun beds and nowhere to get away from the sun, palm trees were also fenced off, there were no fences before.
The beach is clean - it is constantly cleaned. You need to walk 300 meters to the cafe and you can only pay using a Quarter code. The sea is usually calm, even when it is closed on Dadonghai because of the waves. The only drawback is that since the bay is small, there is often a lot of debris washed up on the shore.
Great beach. Probably the best in the area. On the way to the park, the Deer turned its head. The sand is clean, there are no humiliating paddocks with a net. There are no ubiquitous catamarans and other things.
A small bay, a natural coral reserve. There are a lot of them around the edges of the bay! People climb in search of shells and other living creatures. You can swim up to them from the sea, but it's easy to get scratched, because they are sharp! There are fewer corals in the middle of the bay, but many use aquashoos. Sandy beach with palm grove, crystal clear water, gentle descent into the water. There are rescuers, but not intrusive ones. They whistle only for those who swim for buoys in circles. With flippers and a mask, she swam calmly far away. The fauna is not impressive in its diversity, so snorkeling is not very good.
A comfortable stay, I hope to return!
There are piles of garbage floating in the sea near the shore, they are cleaned several times a day, but this does not help, the water is not clear, there are no sun beds near the coast, you will be content by the pool, there are not enough on weekends because locals come.
The only normal beach . You can get from the city center by 125 bus. The fare is 2 yuan. There are no sun beds. Entering without slippers is problematic. A favorite place for a photo shoot for Chinese newlyweds. There is no toilet. After tropical downpours, lying on the sand is not very comfortable. The water is clean. The territory is also being cleaned. A very beautiful view of the bay and from the bay.
There is a beautiful beach in the bay , there are no waves , no paddocks , it is safe to swim , unlike Dadonhai , where it is stormy and whistlers are driven out of the sea .There is a beautiful grove nearby where you can take cool photos. There are a lot of wedding photo shoots . It is good to hide from the sun in the shade of the trees. Of the minuses , garbage often comes , you need to sail a little further , we swam to the buoys
The weather is 5, friendliness is 5, the food is super, in general, I advise you to visit this country at least once and the intercontinental hotel is highly recommended, the territory is huge, there are 4 swimming pools, club rooms there cocktails, wine, tea and all sorts of goodies throughout the day are free.
A small, cozy and pretty beach, with white sand, palm trees and a calm sea. There are no sun beds, but it is quite comfortable on the sand, because of the calm sea it is good to relax with children.
Have a nice beach..palm trees..There aren't many people...but the entrance to the water is not very good...but you can swim in a mask..There is something to see
What Maldives!!????
Muddy beach, ordinary water, lots of corals, swimming is not comfortable. The sand smells like a river in Russia. There are no toilets.
The advantage is that there are palm trees on the shore, you can sit in the shade. The cons are that the sea is dirty (algae and debris), the sand is mixed with broken shells, and it's not pleasant to walk. And so it's generally beautiful.
A "boring" beach. The approach with pebbles is very uncomfortable, it is located in a bay where there are not so many waves, this is the only plus. They mostly relax from the hotel, there are two of them on this shore. The toilet is only in the hotel, the entrance to its territory is only by cards or if someone has penetrated. In general, there is nothing to do there)

They were at the end of April 2025.
We lived in Dadonghai, went here by Didi taxi for 11-12 yuan to swim. There are no paddocks, there is a shadow from the trees, garbage is sometimes present (they say that this is the wind rose and it is here that garbage and algae inflate). There are no local residents swimming, they are engaged in photo shoots and blogging.
They carry coconuts, beer, fruits (sliced melons, mangoes, pineapples and watermelons) along the beach, the price is wonderful - 10 yuan for anything.
There are no changing rooms, cafes, sun beds, showers or toilets. They took their own bedding, towels, fins and masks. There are remnants of the reef, some interesting fish. Nothing bothered me.
We lived in the Intercontinental and as it turned out, in the summer it is the most consistently open bay for swimming.
A lot of Chinese taking pictures against the background of bathing😂
The bay is beautiful! Few people, clean🫡
The beach did not come to me (dirty, there are no toilets and changing rooms, the sand is covered with remnants of coral and stones, the entrance to the water is also with stones and corals,
Insanely beautiful
I advise everyone to fly there
The air is the cleanest in the world in 2nd place
People are kind , they always smile and communicate
Recommend
Back there in winter
A wilder beach near the intercontinental, you can swim normally, not like on the beach at our hotel, in general it's good, in my opinion there are fewer people than on the resort beach, lifeguards are more loyal, but they are driven out of the water as it starts to get dark...
Great beach, no waves or moderate. You can swim without buoys. At low tide, it is difficult to get in and out - stones. There are no toilets nearby. Bus 125 for 2 yuan.
The best beach in Hainan. A quiet bay, you can always swim normally without risk or constantly screaming and whistling rescuers.
There is a bit of coral fighting at the entrance to the sea, but the approach is quite comfortable.
It 's a great place , we rented a scooter!
The approach is rocky but tolerable
Minus there is no place to buy food, buy in advance
Plus, you can go far into the water

Muddy sea, sandy beach, but a lot of garbage, there are stones. Limited bathing space. There are a lot of people, there are no sun beds. In March, the weather and the sea were cold.
You can swim without "whistlers". The depth is normal. The water is not as clear as on Dadonhai. Sometimes it gets dirty. But on the whole we are satisfied. The best place to swim.
The place is quiet, closed on the sides by two capes. There are two hotels in the bay, on the first line, and apartments on the second line. The beach is a small shell rock, not everyone likes it. At high tide, you need to enter the water only in the center of the bay, against the lifeguard post. You can't enter the sea on the sides, the bottom is rocky, visible only at low tide!
We went to Xiao, from our Dadonhai.
There are no restrictions or whistlers. But there is a sewer pipe and the stench of excrement.
I wonder why the first review was not missed.
