The beach is not ready for so many people. In a word, Anapa is all facing each other on the canvases, with a speaker to the music, the aroma of sour beer. It's creepy. Everything always ends in bars. No matter how you go for the Baileys, "Madame quarrels, he's not here," the chips are disassembled in 5 minutes. In general, I do not recommend it!!! From the word at all !!!

The hotel has serious problems that the management needs to solve.
I have been to Swissotel Sharm twice - in April and July 2024. In April, everything was generally good - there were very, very few guests at the hotel and everything was at a pretty good level (I only remember that the safe did not work, but it was replaced very quickly).
But in July, there were already a lot of questions about the hotel, the impression was spoiled.
During the 10 days of stay at the hotel, there were three problems with the room: first, water dripped from the ceiling (fixed after treatment), then the toilet flowed (fixed after treatment), then the room was flooded from the drain under the sink while taking a shower (fixed after treatment). To be honest, I really didn't want to do all this during my vacation, especially three times. The floods were serious, flooded thoroughly. Building number 15.
In the main restaurant, which is behind the wall from the reception, during lunch, children in swimming trunks and life jackets (local hotel guests) were seen calmly sitting down at the table, sitting and eating. The staff at the entrance did not react in any way, and then the restaurant managers also did not react in any way.
In the main restaurant, local "schmurdyak" is constantly poured into bottles from Ballantines, etc., this can be seen by the smell, taste and color. And this is a constant practice there, unfortunately. At the same time, you can find original drinks in other bars of the hotel.
During the day and evening, there were constantly no seats in the lobby bar - everything was occupied (mostly by local guests). At the same time, it is the only bar in the hotel, open morning and afternoon, where you can sit in an air-conditioned room. We need to open another bar with air conditioning, which will work during the day - there are simply not enough places for all guests. Also, many guests had problems finding a place in the restaurant during dinner.
During the evening show, there are constant queues in the lobby bar and in the bar on the veranda. The hotel can't handle a full load - that's obvious.
Also in July, there was a problem with free sun loungers by the main pool and with free seats at the evening show - I had to go and look for it. There were usually always free places on the beach.
Another unpleasant moment is that poached eggs and benedict for breakfast disappeared in July. Probably, it would be unrealistic to cook them for such a large number of guests.
During breakfast, glass juice glasses, tea and coffee mugs were constantly and regularly running out - guests had to drink from paper cups. Swissotel? And the restaurant looked like some kind of "canteen".
There are also workers who need to work more intently and diligently - especially those who cook omelets during breakfast. Sometimes only one egg station works and a queue is already forming, but if there is a second egg station, there is simply no one there. Even after contacting the staff in the kitchen, they were in no hurry to open it.
In April, a waiter was observed at the hotel, who asked to give him a wristwatch - this surprised him. He was gone in July.
I think that in a hotel where you want to spend time, there should not be so many annoying factors.
Summary - the hotel is definitely not worth the money that tour operators are now asking for it (in April and July I paid less than it costs now). And we still have to work on it and work on it. All the available advantages, which were noted in April and described in numerous reviews on various sites, are crossed out by the shortcomings discovered in July.
The queues for grilled shrimps were very surprising - it felt like the guests saw them for the first time in their lives and recruited the whole family at once, with a slide. Sometimes there were 15 people in the queue. This is not a hotel problem - just an observation. And it would be nice if there was some very inexpensive hotel. Also, local guests often prefer not to use tongs for food, and children like to play with their hands with a chocolate fountain - the staff does not react in any way, you can just prompt, explain :)
I would like to mention several hotel employees who do their job well and try their best: guest-relation Yana, bartender Amr (usually he works at the bar by the main pool), bartender Mahmoud (usually works in the lobby bar or in the bar on the veranda) and a middle-aged man who cooks dishes on coals on the veranda during dinner time (I don't know his name, unfortunately).
There were 8 nights in early August 2024. The hotel is a typical Egyptian or Turkish 5-star hotel. Miracles are not worth waiting for, despite the promising name. The hotel is positioned as new, but no - it is a converted old one, so it is more correct to say "after renovation". Some points are being completed on the go (for example, they ordered phones in the rooms, now they don't work everywhere)
CONTINGENT: Russians, Kazakhs, Arabs in plus or minus equal proportions. Everyone is very polite, the audience is generally cultured. Nowadays, the hotel was completely full, but like in all good hotels, it did not feel like it.
THE BEACH: a bold minus is not to walk, it's not even the second line, but the third, it takes 7-8 minutes to go on the map. It should be noted that they never waited for him for a particularly long time, a maximum of 5 minutes, but the stress of being cut off is present. The hotel's beach is a small coral pool in the bay. There are places with surgeon fish that bite. (People who have a lot of moles (!!!!) - put a plaster over them, surgeons take them for food and bite them). After the first review and swim, the places with surgeons become clear - the fish always hang out at the same points, which should be avoided. Baby shark was seen once in the evening, the manager said that they were safe, the shores were constantly being checked by the maritime police. Ramps are far away and very rare, but they are found, someone even saw a turtle once. Masks are worth taking, and most importantly, coral slippers. There is no way without them.
If you want a coral experience, then you can use the svis bracelets to go to the neighboring rixos golf (warn security to wait for you there and call a car through indrive - 2 dollars instead of 10 through the reception). Rixos beach is about one pool path along the corals and a gorgeous view of the real sea, not the bay. Only for those who are fans of swimming with a mask. You need to go early in the morning, because after 10 a.m. there will be soup from tourists and there will be no crowd.
In rixos, you can eat, take towels, see the hotel and understand that your Swiss is no worse, if not better.
If you or your relatives are not swimmers, then next to Swiss there is a neighboring beach of the Gafi hotel (step over the rope) sandy like in Hurghada. No one is racing, our grandmother swam with a child there. But you need sneakers anyway
FOOD: without much variety, the same thing every day with slight variations. Everything is delicious, in abundance, normal, clean, high quality. From the pros to the real five: movenpik ice cream! And water in the glass.
ALCOHOL: here, too, is a confident five. Alcohol is high-quality, branded. On baylis beach with ice - no problem. Beer: Stella of Egypt and Heineken. All drinks are in cans and glass! No spills and no big bottles. That is, everything is safe.
A LA CARTE: make an appointment with a Russian girl at the reception from morning to day. You need to take a queue at about 7.40 so that you can be guaranteed to be in time for her arrival at 8. A la carte is a toy in itself - with frozen pizza in Italian and so on. But! It's a pretty good Indian restaurant and a great, just super barbecue on the beach. The last one was taken by a Turkish chef, so there is very tasty meat there. You choose on the counter and everything is fried right at your table. From the episodes: My mom and I don't eat meat and we were misinformed on the record that there would be fish. The chef and the manager came out to us, everyone really wanted to help and feed us (in a meat restaurant with fish), organized half of the salmon from the hotel for us, steamed a separate grill and fried. This is a level.
SERVICE: in the formative stage. The service is heterogeneous, the weakest link is the reception and concierge. If you really need to achieve something: call the chief administrator or the manager. The reception itself is helpless, everything needs to be asked several times. From examples: to get a dryer - four requests on the phone plus a polite scandal. They brought it. By the way, there is a problem with drying clothes. Most of the rooms (those on the second floor) do not have balconies, but there are railings, so you have to hang a bathing suit on them (grab clothespins). To break through the late checkout, I had to go myself twice, call twice (they promised to call back, but of course no one called back anywhere), again demand the main manager. Towels were not accepted on the beach five minutes before closing time, we had to take everything to the hotel and call the authorities again. There were no polite meetings, goodbyes, questions "did you like it" at the reception. The management staff is really qualified, solves all issues.
THE CLEANING is superficial, in general terms. There are few towels, one for the face and one for the body.
ADVANTAGES: swimming pools, a water park, a gym with a minimum of necessities. The pool is clean, multi-level, with a noticeable smell of disinfection. Live music almost always. Treatment of shrubs from parasites and flying insects. Excellent sound insulation! The internet is excellent throughout the area, including the beach. Overall, the hotel is beautiful and cozy.
CONS: distance from the sea. Service.
EXCURSIONS: we took a bathyscaphe. Diving into the "aquarium" of the red sea, for those who are not familiar with the underwater world, will be just a delight.
BOTTOM LINE: impressions are mixed, everything is generally OK, but there is no desire to come a second time.
A dirty and old hotel, the service is generally a separate story, they are rude and say nasty things, they think that only they understand each other in Arabic! The beach is very far from the hotel and there is not enough room for everyone during lunch, the food is terrible!
