This is a reopened hotel that called swissotel Al
Murooi. Good but not the best for that price in Dubai Downtown. Strong 4 of 5 from my pov.
Staff are polite and always open to support you, but the internal process sometimes are not clear, for instance, why they call in your room 30 minutes before your checking out, and then they don't check it, and you have to wait while they check your room and bar for extra points...Idk.
And secondly, I went to this hotel in May, 2023, there was renovation of indoor areas, including swimming pools.
Breakfasts table are not rich for 5 stars hotel, but it's enough for start your productive day.
Positive side is location of this hotel. This is the almost best option if you plan visit Dubai Mall areas,
5-10 minutes by walk.
The nearest beach is La mer, around 15-20 minutes by car.
Great hotel, our room was super with a very nice view. The breakfasts are varied and delicious every day. As in the Turkish five, we visited only the center of Dubai)))) the hotel grounds are beautiful and green. Next to the Dubai Mall across the street. Burj Khalifa is 5 minutes away. The hotel building has cafes, restaurants and a huge supermarket 24/7.
A great hotel. The price is quite reasonable, the rooms are clean, cleaning is carried out regularly and efficiently. Outside there is an excellent pool with cooled water - ideal for a family holiday. The Dubai Mall is literally a ten-minute walk away.
Swissotel Al Murooj is located in Dubai, close to the Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa Skyscraper. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, there is a view of the skyscrapers. The hotel has three swimming pools, one of them is heated. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. There is animation and sports entertainment for children. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes. Guests can use the shuttle service to the city center and other attractions.
Of the cons, this is not a very new interior.
Great location, friendly staff, huge beds, spacious rooms.
The breakfasts were very tasty.
The indoor park is also done wonderfully.
The location is beyond praise.
We recommend it!
Not a bad hotel, but a little outdated renovation for 5 stars, as well as pleasant staff, any excursions can be purchased at the reception in the lobby bar. A good buffet with a large selection, and if you want to have fun in the evening, then there is a great pub downstairs. The hotel is located in the center of Dubai Mall and singing fountains within a 10-minute walk. Have a nice stay, everyone.
The hotel is located in the center of Dubai, near the Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa, fountains, Museum of the Future. There is a garden in the hotel, but access is limited, they only allow access to the pool. The pool is warm, there were enough sun beds. There is a pool bar, and payment for the order is debited from the deposit at check-out. The room had no balcony, but it was possible to change, we did not, because we were practically not in the room. We took breakfasts and dinners and paid extra at the hotel according to need. Outside the hotel, dinner turned out to be very expensive. If we come to Dubai again to go sightseeing and visit the city center, we will come again.
Everything is very cool. The service is excellent. At first we got into the wrong entrance, but we were quickly transported to the right one. The room is huge and clean. Air conditioning, kettle, tea, coffee, TV (very interesting, but nothing is clear). The main thing is to walk to the Tower.
Great place, liked the pool, clean. The rooms are quiet, or the neighbors and I were lucky. They cleaned up well. However, they threw out the cap from the lens container, because it was blue, like a bottle cap. I had to urgently buy a new container…
For a long time I could not understand why various reviews, some write great, others are terrible. It's just that there are apartments in the system of this hotel, they are just, as I understand it, old and not very old. We stayed at the hotel. Everything is clean, neat, everything is there, the linen is snow-white, the furniture is excellent, beautiful, cleaning every day. Hair dryer, ironing board, iron, tea and coffee standard sets were all present. The location is excellent, transfer to Kite Beach, although it is not very convenient in the heat (it takes you away at 10-30 and is picked up at 15-00. We didn't wait to get back, we took a taxi for 45 dirhams. The breakfasts are excellent.
We took a 2-room apartment. The room is already quite shabby, but overall OK ... very comfortable beds, slept super well.
The cleaning is mediocre. We had the room cleaned once. Vacuumed for show only in the living room, the vacuum cleaner was not turned on in other rooms. Washing dishes is a plus. The refrigerator did not freeze at all, yes, the masters were ready to come, but only in our presence, we were always walking somewhere and there was no time for that. But I want to go to a room where everything is ready and working, given that the hotel claims that it is 5*.
The breakfasts are great!! Diverse, everything is there.
The pools are good, but there are few sunbeds in the far pool, which is for residents. The road to the pool is a separate topic, in order to get there, you need to complete a quest. But of course you get used to it.
The spa complex. Bad. Haman is not working. The shower is only hot. After training, well, not at all. The Jacuzzi is broken.
Transfer to the beach. The horror! No one warned that there are no towels, umbrellas, or sun beds on the beach! Google assured us that everything is on the beach. But no. +32, and there's nowhere to hide with a child. The nearest shops are closed, there is a construction site nearby. There are a lot of people, all huddled under the shade of trees. Maybe when everything is working, and there is a rental of sunbeds with umbrellas, the beach is nothing, but we were unlucky.
I advise Mamzar beach, drive 15/30 minutes depending on the load of the road, 60/80 dirhams, entrance is 5 dirhams, but it's super! Several coves, lifeguards, a park, rental of sun beds, umbrellas, there is a barbecue area, white sand.
The hotel is tired, the food is very good, you can safely take breakfast-lunch- dinner. There is a large swimming pool, there weren't many people there. Located close to the Dubai Mall
We traveled with a family of 4 people, we had a room of about 80 sq.m. a lot of space, cozy, comfortable - the room has two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a washing machine, a stove, a microwave, a kettle and a full-fledged refrigerator, 2 combined bathrooms and another just a toilet, a terrace with a view of skyscrapers
The hotel is located in the center of Dubai. Within walking distance of Dubai Mall, Museum of the Future, Burj Khalifa. You can immediately note the inconvenience of driving a car to the hotel. There are always a lot of cars that are not clear what they are doing and who they are waiting for. The hotel itself is not the first freshness. The reception area is very small, all sofas and armchairs are always occupied.
It's a great place. Panoramic view from the windows, services and maintenance, Cleanliness, room cleaning, room decoration and overall amenities – level – all respect.
The location is ideal for city walks, but the hotel itself is very tired, breakfasts for three, weak too
The service is good, the staff is polite, but repairs definitely need to be done
Great hotel!!! Great location, in the center of Dubai, delicious cuisine, varied, of the cons, the service at the hotel is weak, but otherwise everything is normal.
I liked the hotel, the green area in the center of Dubai is just a godsend!!! The pool is small, but there was enough space. Very convenient location, Dubai Mall walked every evening, there is also a subway. They took full board and for good reason, at lunch and dinner they tortured them with fish delicacies-crabs, lobsters, oysters, etc. Baking is generally a separate topic!!! Breakfasts are weak. Everything is fine in the hotel, except for the shower, uncomfortable, not regulated, perhaps that's all. I definitely recommend it!
I liked this hotel! The rooms are large, the repair is not new, everything is working properly, clean, without complaints. Breakfast is good and long. Dinner is also until 22:00, convenient. There is a pedestrian road to the Dubai Mall, if it's not hot, then you can walk to the Museum of the Future, and to the metro station.
The territory is small, if not combined with apartments, the pool is small, but with temperature control.
There are several bars at the hotel, but they do not interfere, there is no noise.
Disgusting hotel. It doesn 't even pull for 4 - . Solid 3 with a minus. Don't ever come here. The photos are beautiful only on the Internet, from + a good location to Dubai mall and fountains, a clean snow-white bed is all. Not bad food, decent. The territory is not all at guests' disposal, well, when you walk through it, you will see how everything is dirty, dirty, the apartments have a separate story in the rooms, the sockets are not euro, you need to run to splice adapters in order to charge your phone, laptop, dirty, the curtains are crumpled, the tulle is dirty. If a video could be backed up to the review, then I would definitely post it. Who writes positive reviews, they are probably sloppy themselves and this is the norm for them. While we were checking in, we changed three rooms, as there was a stink in the rooms. The carpet is all old worn out. In short, fuuuu.... well, in general, we wanted the center did not want 1 line to the sea. Now I regret the price is about the same, and everything is so bad from the sea. It's better to take it closer to the sea for this money. Well, or take a 4-star hotel and there will be savings and you will not see this horror for such money, it is better to spend them in Dubai, they say.
Great hotel! The view is wonderful! Burj Khalifa is always visible)Within walking distance of Dubai Mall (stand longer at traffic lights, walk 3 minutes) and metro (5 minutes) There are several restaurants and cafes along the way to the metro)The rooms are super!
Great location, across the street from Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa Square with singing fountains. Excellent breakfasts. I do not recommend taking rooms with a view of the road - it is very noisy!
I would have put less if I could. It's just a complete horror. We took a 2-bedroom apartment. The smell of mold, dirt, stains, cigarette butts on the balcony, everything is rusty, everything is falling apart. They made a scandal. We fought for 3 hours, then we were moved to the main building in a premium room. It's old too, but at least it doesn't stink. The rooms are not cleaned. Do not vacuum, do not wash. Everything is dirty and shabby. The hotel is falling apart. I remember it as a terrible dream. The level of roadside hotels on the highway.
Convenient location.
Everything is near the hotel from a 24-hour supermarket to a pharmacy and Dubai Mall.
The service is a bit lame.
The breakfasts were delicious every other time.
The hotel is very convenient because it is located 5 minutes from the Dubai Mall.
The rooms in the main building are very tired. We were especially surprised by tightly closed windows that cannot be opened)
In principle, the hotel is suitable for a couple of days, since everything you need is nearby.
The food is good enough, there is a small swimming pool with a children's paddling pool. There are not a lot of sunbeds, but there are usually not very many people, so there is an opportunity to lie down at any time.
The outside of the hotel is neat, as I understand it, this is an Indian hotel chain. For this reason, the aroma of spices and something Indian will meet you in the lobby)
Great hotel. The food was delicious , the variety was great, the staff was friendly, shampoos, coffee, tea, cream were added to the room every day. The pool is fun, cool - we are delighted
The location is the best, but the hotel needs renovation, it does not pull for 5 *.
The breakfast is good, varied.
In the courtyard there are good restaurants and a small swimming pool with a beautiful green area
The hotel is located across the street from the Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa, which is very convenient for business trips, shopping enthusiasts and active tourists. We were out of season, we went! The rooms are large, comfortable, the food is excellent, the service is arranged. I recommend it!
The hotel is a little tired and the rooms and the territory. A wonderful restaurant. The food is very tasty. The main advantage is the proximity to the Dubai Mall. We went every day. I recommend.
You can arrange payment on the spot with the hotel staff, which is very pleasant due to the reluctance of booking to take our cards. Breakfast is uniform, but if you don't take it every day, then everything is very good. The rooms are large, the cleaning is daily, no one begs for tips. It's a great place, if you forget that it's by the road.
Probably the best hotel, the closest to Dubai Mall... This is especially convenient when it is very hot in Dubai!!! And what else is good about this hotel, the fact that it is an Oasis among the desert and stone jungle! But there are also disadvantages, the staff at the reception is not quite professional and blunts ...
At least, I was unlucky... And the hotel itself is of course already podubitenky....(
The hotel is at best 3 stars.I arrived at the hotel on July 14 at 9 am, checked in only at 15 o'clock, took a deposit of 300 dirhams, but when leaving on July 25 at 6 am, the deposit was not given, they brazenly said that they did not take anything, although in Dubai they always take a deposit. There were breakfasts and lunches.Because they settled in late, they changed our lunch for dinner. At dinner, the administrator was very surprised and approached us ten times with deep questions, how, why, who and why, and so that there would be no more of this, etc. without giving us a normal meal. The breakfasts are monotonous, the same sausage, omelette, cucumbers and tomatoes, which were absent the last time at all. Fruits bananas, oranges, apples, melons, watermelons, often end all at once never happened.Breakfast is until 10.30, but the Arabs come late and no one throws them out.Dinners are just awful, one kind of soup is not delicious, the best was broth with small pieces of chicken. There is no fruit at all.Lunches are bad and they are, for unknown reasons, more expensive than dinner. The service in the restaurant is disgusting, few people come for lunch, because he is not very. The Negro waiters carry the juice for 20-30 minutes, even if there is no one in the restaurant hall and if the Arabs come after you, they are served first. I've been to many hotels in Dubai and in threes, fours, fives, but this one is the worst. The room cleaning is excellent, it is done every day, the change of linen is the same, the pool is small, the Lifeguard does not care, the children swim to the adult territory, where the depth is 160 cm, but he does not chase anyone, just smiles. On weekends, locals come, in their clothes (dirty in appearance), they swim in the pool in droves. One bus goes to the beach at 10.30 and picks up from the beach about 17 hours, two or three people go there, because the beach is a small bay with rocks, unkempt, urban.I used to rest in ATAN hotels, it is several times cooler, although the four, the hall is better than many fives, they feed for slaughter and are much cheaper, 8 bus routes a day in different directions, not one.By the pool, the racks are almost always free, they give out towels.

A wonderful hotel with very friendly staff, excellent food. Super location - near Dubai Mall, Burda Khalifa.
You need to understand carefully and understand where you are going.(hotel, apartment, something else is there) In the photo, as a single chain of buildings, in fact only a single territory and a common restaurant, everything else, including pools with different access levels.
The location is super, but the numbers are no longer fresh, a lot of little things don't work and they don't react to the mandibles. The safe broke almost immediately, the lock in the toilet door too)
We were with friends and 4 liters of jager, so we didn't pay much attention)
The food is excellent, I recommend taking breakfast and dinner. The basik is also normal, there is a sauna and a small hamam.
In general, the hotel is not bad, again, the location next to the Dubai Mall and the metro takes its toll.
Nice big clean rooms. Daily high-quality cleaning with bed linen replacement. The buffet is varied. They cook delicious. The staff is very attentive and extremely polite
Friendly staff. It's a little cold in the rooms, but we immediately turned off the air conditioning. A huge selection of food. The rooms are clean, there is no smell

Let's just say the impressions are ambiguous. The location is great. The pools are good. The breakfasts are not bad. BUT we were first settled in a terrible building - Gardenia. The room is old. The hall is smelly. Midges. The balcony is small and covered in bird droppings. I burst into tears. I called the reception and swore for a long time. I tried to return the money. As a result, we were accommodated in the building where the reception is. It's a completely different matter! There are even more accessories in the bathroom. The linen is good. The room is clean and the balcony is large! And they gave me a free stay in the room at check-out.
