In recent years, the monastery and the surrounding area have been even more transformed. Clean, bright and cozy. These feelings will be shared by both large groups of pilgrims, families, and lonely wanderers. God has a place and comfort for everyone.
A separate word about the refectory and monastery cuisine. Very tasty things are obtained from the simplest products with prayer. Everything is healthy and fresh. The thought arises that they were transported back to childhood at the table with their grandmother in the village.

Our Belarusian Lavra, the Citadel and stronghold of the Orthodox faith. The feast of the Zhirovitskaya Icon of the Mother of God, a shrine located in the Assumption Cathedral of the monastery, always gathers the highest authorities, the administration of the region and the district and grateful pilgrims.

It is very beautiful and gracious. There is a place to stay and eat and it is not expensive.
The house has ladles of 15 rubles. a day a room for two blocks of two people, a shared bathroom for two blocks. if a family of four is just gorgeous.
There are two wonderful springs (men's and women's), I liked the old one more.

The spirit of the Zhirovitsky monastery is special. Here you can feel the Lord's Blessing, peace and grace on every meter. Thank God, the monastery is being restored. The territory is well maintained, there are excellent paths, benches at the Source, the bathhouse has become much more convenient, divided into female and male halves. The toilets have been renovated. The refectory is a little small, but outside the gate it is in a spacious large room. An Orthodox clothing store has appeared, and souvenir shops are in sufficient quantity.

I really liked the monastery! A blessed place! Everything has been done for the convenience of pilgrims: the schedule of services, the location of temples is indicated on the plan, there is a pilgrimage hotel nearby, there is a refectory, trebs are accepted in several places so that there are no queues.

This is a monastery for men. It was founded in 1470. There are temples in honor of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the lower temple in honor of Nicholas the Wonderworker is in the Assumption Cathedral, the Church of the Holy Cross and the Holy Cross. There is also a seminary.

I liked everything very much. The impression was good and bright. I was very impressed by the temple itself and the bells... A sociable and kind woman in the shop, Despite the fact that it was just lent time, there is a good selection of dishes for every taste in the monastery refectory... Very tasty and real monastery bread, bought at home... After visiting the monastery, we stopped at the spring, took a dip in the font, and collected some water..
