The Church of St. Alexei in Bugaevka was founded in 1904, consecrated in 1911 in honor of St. Alexei, the man of God, but closed by the Bolsheviks in 1921. Now St. Alexeevsky Church is functioning, an Orthodox orphanage has been opened at it. Beautiful architecture, well-maintained territory.
