A temple where the souls of soldiers who died for Japan are worshipped. This includes generals recognized as war criminals who were executed by a tribunal after the Second World War. The main Tokyo sakura grows on the territory of the temple, when it blooms, the cherry blossom season is announced in the city. Then all the townspeople go to the parks together to admire this beauty.

It's very beautiful and not crowded, the first sanctuary where I bought a notebook and stamped them. The huge temple gates are impressive.
