A great place for sailing enthusiasts, comfortable rooms with kitchens, delicious breakfasts in the restaurant on the second floor, which offers a magnificent view of the water area. It's good to see off the sunset and hang out at night. We arrange rave parties upstairs every evening, just like at Kazantip in the noughties:)
The most important thing is that wind surf equipment rental works, there are instructors and a workshop for repairing sails and boards. I came with my equipment, rented a room for a month for $ 30 a day, including breakfast. Storage of equipment is free of charge.
You could live in a hotel, a house, a villa and ride a spot, but for me, if you ride on your own equipment, then you can't find a better place to stay in Mui Ne.
The hotel has a swimming pool, sun beds, a small sandy beach is constantly occupied by sails and boards.
The audience is international.
Vietnam, Mui Ne, Surf4You Residence, windsurfing.
Rested from 24.11.2023 to 04.11.2023.
Before the trip, we read reviews on Vietnam from "horror, dirt, garbage in the sea, rats, termites" to "fairy tale, charm, everything is fine", so I decided to write about my impressions. So:
1. Vacation days cannot be moved. In Dahab (Egypt) there are cases of shark attacks on the beach. Question: where can I relax and practice windsurfing? Somewhere there are waves, somewhere there are no rental stations, somewhere "out of season".
2. It remains: Vietnam, Mui Ne and then "a bunch of horror stories" floats up on the Internet. Tours from operators start from 270 000 rubles for two, plus a transfer of 27000 rubles, insurance – count for yourself.
3. Flight: on the Kataravia website, tickets for two are 142 000 rubles (with a 3-hour transfer in Doha), but you cannot pay with a regular card. Paid through a Travel agency (+ 12000r), took insurance there (5600r). Flights from Kataravia are a fairy tale: knees do not rest, adjustable headrest, TV panel (movies, games, though not all in Russian), meals for 4+, drinks (including alcohol).
4. The hotel is "just lucky". I chose it based on the availability of an equipment rental station. On the website (https://www.sails4you.com/s4yresidence ) there are contacts, I contacted the owner (+84 339673879 – Mikhail VA, Tlg), booked a standard room with breakfast ($400 / it's better to specify the price – different dates may differ) and a transfer to Ho Chi Minh City – hotel ($80 one way / 200km /3h on the way).
The room is spacious, with a sea view, floor-to-ceiling Windows on a common loggia. Very clean, daily cleaning. Air conditioning, refrigerator, safe, "tea station", tea, coffee, two bottles of water every day. There is a swimming pool, sun loungers, umbrellas on the territory, everything is "licked" daily, and several cats ensure the absence of rodents from the word "at all".
Breakfasts: 7 – 8 options, including continental, English, etc.
Many thanks to the owners of the hotel Anna and Mikhail. We were very warmly welcomed, told everything, showed everything, helped to understand the subtleties of Vietnamese cuisine.
Every day we went to dinner in different cafes, restaurants (to the left of the hotel), dinner for two (shrimp, squid, all kinds of snails, mussels) with beer from 400 to 2000 rubles. You can also get there by taxi (160 – 320r).
And of course fruits: I have met such a variety few places. Mango — 110 – 140 r / kg, closer to the end of the vacation, we "tasted" Jackfruit (breadfruit tree) — quite.
5. Windsurfing — again "just lucky": I left the room and after 1 minute you are at the surfing station, and there is an Instructor (with a capital letter) — Alexey. My wife and I studied for 5 years before (Dolzhanka, Dahab) . . . and "like the first time".
6. We took an excursion to Dalat ($ 40 * 2), along the way waterfalls, elephant farm, coffee plantation (aviary with musangs) – I liked it. The Vietnamese are very calm, friendly people, they did not notice not that aggression, but the slightest hint of rejection. The feeling of relaxation is in full. Complete relaxation.
This country is worth a visit!
