A stunning park where you can walk for a very long time. A must-see during the daytime and in the evening! There are 2 viewing platforms - a suspension bridge and a circular view in one of the trees, the ticket price is 14SGD
One of the main attractions of Singapore is the iron trees. There is a walking bridge and a climb to the Grand Tree. In the evening, there are long queues at the ticket offices and at the entrance. In the evening, a beautiful light and music show at 18:45. There are a lot of viewers, but there is enough for everyone.
We really liked it. It is better to come before sunset, so that you can look in daylight and in the dark with a backlight. It is better to watch the light show from below (on the advice of the viewers).
Take a walk in the park nearby during the day, but the trees have the main feature in the evening. There the music turns on once an hour and the performance passes, they glow to the music, shimmer. The rest of the time they glow slightly (you can climb them: the bridge between the trees is under the trees, it is especially interesting and one big tree is higher up, like an observation deck, it's more interesting there in the evening, but in the evening the queue was 30-60 minutes to climb and then the queue to go down to the elevator is also the same). Keep in mind that around 22:30 the lights on the trees are turned off. And the park immediately empties, it becomes dark there.
Well, to be honest, I expected more, the lighting involved in the musical composition, in the evening, is lit only on four so-called trees out of twelve, for what reasons it is not clear, but it was disappointing.
We were in Singapore in 2012. The garden and these trees are the only thing we haven't seen. Naturally, we visited this landmark at the first opportunity during transit in April 2023. The park itself is very beautiful and interesting. The trees are grandiose and beautiful. But! Something else was expected from the evening light show, something with 3D. And there was a simple color music, it was disappointing.
Nothing special. A highly overrated landmark of the city. Reinforced concrete structure with light bulbs and music that does not match the rhythm of the backlight. Good marketing. And the park is normal.
The beauty is indescribable, the show is excellent
The show starts at 19:45 and 20:45. For those who climb the trail, please note that they give 15 minutes for a walk.
Be ready to buy non-refundable tickets and feel like a nonentity in a kilometer-long queue that moves every half hour. We watched the program between two black fences, we didn't see anything because of the palm trees!!!! The lights on the trees went out, there was nothing to see, the queue did not even move 1/4, we turned around and left. This is the worst service!
