Sunset Bar and Restaurant is one of the oldest establishments in Anjuna, founded in the late 60s. It has been owned by the Da Sousa family all this time. The hosts are known for their hospitality, and the restaurant is famous for good, high-quality cuisine and stunning views from the terrace to the sea. The narrow strip of beach along the restaurant is only 10 meters (and even less at high tide) and it can be very cool in the morning to order breakfast and go swimming, and when you get out of the water, it has already been brought to you. An English breakfast in February 2024 cost 400 rupees. In general, the average check for three people comes out to about 2500 rupees, which is slightly above average. You can order fresh fish in the restaurant, they cook it here just perfectly! As everywhere else, in the happy hour (from 17-00 to 19-00) there are two cocktails for the price of one. The cocktails are bombastic! More importantly, Sunset is open all year round and does not close in munsun. In general, this is a calm, quiet and safe place, where there is no screaming music, slightly annoying tourists from other states, and where you can relax and unwind with pleasure. The motto of the institution is "come with your family". That's what I recommend to everyone.
