The hotel is located in a rural area, almost in nature, surrounded by mountains and forests. At the same time, not far from the Oboke railway station, where a free shuttle arrives for the guests (it also takes them back and picks them up from excursions). I took a deluxe with my own mini-onsen, I liked everything. The Japanese-style room, like everywhere else, has a large area. There is no shower, but it is in the public onsen (with two hot, one cold pools and a sauna) on the 7th floor (it is free). Breakfast was also arranged. There are both Japanese and Euro options. At 20.00 there is a dinner in the hotel restaurant, but you need to book, I did not take it. About a kilometer away there is a 7-eleven store, a couple of souvenir shops, and a West Soba restaurant. The hotel shuttle takes guests to the Oboke station, where you can take a regular bus to the Kazurabashi Bridge (on the way there I boarded the bus at another stop, and a shuttle took me back from the station), as well as to the point where boat trips along the Oboke Gorge are organized. The staff does not speak all English, but there were no problems. Check-out payment, unlike many other Japanese hotels.
A great place for a break between Japanese cities (in my case, between Osaka and Kochi), both relaxing and combined with moderately active recreation (trips to suspension bridges, boat trips, and for whom rafting). There is also a good souvenir shop at the hotel (crafts, magnets, teas, sesame seeds, etc. spices, sweets) at reasonable prices.
