Nice quiet hotel, solid 4 stars, ideal location in the Eixample district. Carrer Valencia is generally a very successful street for tourists — it is not noisy, green, there are many nice cafes where locals relax, there are shops here, it is convenient to walk to almost any attraction and metro stations. The perfect place. :)
The hotel itself is nice, pleasant staff, available 24 to 7 reception, on the day of departure it is convenient to leave luggage after check-up, room cleaning is thorough, a fairly good breakfast (fruits, cheeses, chorizo, jamon, yoghurts, sweets, omelette, etc.). In the rooms, the windows mostly overlook the enclosed (including from above) courtyard — but this is a Barcelona feature. If the street view is important, call the hotel and specify which rooms (there are few of them) overlook the city and book specific ones for yourself. But on the roof there will be a terrace with a small pool, Jacuzzi, sun loungers, tables and an incredibly beautiful view of the Eixample quarter. There are towels by the pool, you do not need to take them from the room. It is very pleasant to go out on the terrace in the evening and enjoy the view of Barcelona.
The rooms are non-smoking, only there are ashtrays on the terrace.
There is a Nespresso coffee machine in each room, capsules, sugar and cream are brought. Although there are a million wonderful coffee shops around the hotel, perhaps having a cup of espresso right after waking up is pleasant.
Now about the minor drawbacks — some rooms are very small, so be careful, the reception staff can accommodate a couple in a tiny room, which is barely enough for one guest (we barely crammed two suitcases, and only one person can sleep on the bed). Do not be afraid to come back and ask for a replacement, unfortunately, in our case the hotel was booked to capacity, even for an additional fee we could not spend the night in a room of any level and we were moved only in the morning to a spacious room. Already without payment, just like that.
P.S. The Palermo restaurant next to the hotel cooks fish dishes well, all the Barcelonans from the neighboring streets go there, but you need to book a table, otherwise they will put you in the bar. The same features are found in all popular restaurants in Barcelona. Tables need to be booked.
Have a nice stay! :)
Everything absolutely corresponds to the star rating of the hotel! Everything is fine and can only be praised! I recommend it! Everyone was satisfied with their stay here!
