After visiting Armenia, I wanted to visit an explosive place in my parents' hometown - Byurakan.
The snails themselves turned out to be delicious, but the attitude of the owners to the customers was very disappointing.
When the owner found out that I was from Moscow, he told me 30 times to my face that he hated this city. The question is, why? Who will be pleased to hear that your hometown is hated, especially if it is an unsolicited opinion of someone else, and even submitted in such a rude form.
The second incident that happened in this restaurant is related to the owner's wife. The kitchen is located right in the gazebo, open for viewing the cooking process.
I wanted to film the process of cooking snails for memory (video for 10 seconds). The hostess of the establishment in the most rude form said not to film the cooking process, using the phrases "I forbid filming", "this is my territory", "step away from the kitchen", etc. I don't understand what the problem was, to ask in a calm and friendly way not to take it off, it would be enough, there would be no such negative residue left.
In general, I give 2 stars for the delicious cooked snails and a small tour at the beginning.
In any case, I will not visit this institution a second time.
Customer focus is at zero, unfortunately.
It's an incredibly delicious place, I've tried snails in France, but to be honest, I'm really impressed with the taste of these particular snails. A large variety of sauces 😍
It is very interesting to talk with the owners of this institution, they are not stingy with knowledge and generously share all the information about snails. They even do a tour of the farm ! Must-visit
It was one of the best places to visit while traveling in Armenia! It is authentic (which is what you want in such a country), exclusive, hospitable, rich and simple at the same time. Original snail dishes and familiar European dishes, good wines are presented (which was important for our company). We recommend it.
I was very surprised by the positive responses. The male owner of the farm is a very unpleasant person. I've been recovering for two days. Snails are generally delicious. They left money for two people, like for a small plane. I don't recommend it at all
A visit to a small family restaurant in the mountains at Sunny snails farm will leave an incomparable, unforgettable experience in your memory for a long time. We stopped by to see the snail farm and taste the snails, and got into the atmosphere of Armenian hospitality and European cuisine. Vahe told the story of leaving the film industry to breed snails. His wife Natalia has prepared all the dishes in a small menu. And it's like we've been to France, Italy. The fireplace and conversations warmed the soul, and new taste sensations gave joy and charm! Come and try it yourself!
I demand a Michelin star for this place. Incredibly authentic and delicious, one of the best places in Armenia to visit. The snails, the tour, the story - it's incredible.
Just a wonderful family farm with very kind owners, a great idea for breeding snails and a very tasty restaurant

It is very unusual and delicious. I had never tried snails before, but then I saw how they were grown and tried them in different types. The hosts are very hospitable, they told us everything, I definitely recommend visiting
