A large historical park on an artificial lake, beautiful architecture. I would hardly have returned a second time because there are a lot of visitors, an endless stream, and in such a place it is good to sit in silence in nature, feed fish or ducks.
if in doubt, do not hesitate, you must definitely go)
a beautiful place for walking, we started from the northern gate (usually a taxi is brought there), if that was all, then I would already be happy with the trip))) there are ascents: high stairs, stones, you can look at buildings from different levels. there is a gazebo closer to the pond, there are small eateries next to the pond, it smells very strongly of fried tofu).
there are many souvenirs and those ice cream cones in the shape of towers, with which they are photographed. you can go boating. look carefully at what is above you, for sure there is some kind of painted beauty!
we were on Monday, something is not working at this time (so the ticket is cheaper), but I do not regret the trip at all.
there are a lot of locals, you can take a tour guide, they offer services at the entrance (we walked like this). close to the zoo, then you can go there.
A gorgeous park with a huge territory, many interesting locations, an excellent summer palace of the emperor. There is an opportunity to walk through all this splendor with your feet or take a boat ride and see everything from the outside. Easily accessible by subway, the nearest station is Beigongmen.
Plan for a visit of at least 3-4 hours
