I would not buy there, although there is a lot of choice, but the prices are 5 times more expensive. For example, a plastic souvenir mug there is 25 dirhams, and in the same day to day it is 6 dirhams.

I'll say this right away: I got here by chance as part of an excursion group - they promised to show the Parus hotel and showed it from afar ;).
In fact, it is a shopping center with elements of an oriental bazaar. From the outside it looks like an ancient fortress, inside there are labyrinths of shopping streets, around water channels (the so-called Dubai Venice). In general, it is interesting to take a leisurely walk on your own (not as part of a tourist group), look at local goods (the assortment is large from local sweets, clothes, jewelry to household items), sit in a cafe, take beautiful photos. But no more, because this is a "tourist conveyor" - the crowd is terrible, the most beautiful photos are those who are taller or have longer arms. And, yes, the prices are not cheap, but you will be convinced otherwise...

As an interesting place, that's all. Venice, the canals - everything is blocked for local hotels, walking only along the market and the only embankment occupied by restaurants.
But to explore the territory of the hotels, the Venetian-Arab Straits and a closer photo with a sail, you can go boating, the price is 100aed per person

We sat in a cafe at the pier, walked around the territory, took a boat ride -100 dirs / passenger impressions are excellent, they say Venice is only local, for those who have been to Venice. There are many good locations on the pier near the bridge at the entrance, a cafe by the fountain. We got from the metro TMIRATS MOL -15 min, you can take a taxi. The impression is twofold: on the one hand, it is very beautiful and I would like to recommend seeing it, on the other, it is better not to count on much - this is a place for photos, not walks. However, which is very Dubai-like)
In the center of the location, the market is a new model for an old oriental bazaar - it is very atmospheric and interesting to wander there. You can find everything from carpet to antiques, we didn't buy anything, but we enjoyed the aura.
The second part is the same Dubai Venice. Namely, a hotel surrounded by canals with turquoise sea water. It's beautiful that you can't take your eyes off! You can go boating and I think this is the best option for this place, because there is nowhere to walk there and everything is blocked for hotel guests. Make cool photos - yes, but relax and spend time - no.
Also, the water has non-budget (~3000₽/ dish) cafes that should be included in the visiting program.
To summarize: if you go by boat + sit in a cafe, the place will come in, and if you only look with your eyes, you may be disappointed.

Good afternoon. Upon arrival on January 8, we were greeted by the Abas manager, he was unfriendly and unpleasant from the first minute. Later on, he ruined our entire vacation.
We really enjoyed staying at your hotel and extended our stay from January 13th to 17th. Due to the fact that the extension took place remotely at my travel agent, there were difficulties with payment. The manager, named Abas (speaks Russian), behaved very badly and inhospitally. He blocked the keys to our room and demanded payment in cash within 30 minutes. It looked like extortion. Let me remind you that I was on vacation with a one-year-old child and my wife. Also on January 13, Abas called the room twice at 10:30 p.m., when my son was already asleep. We were very upset by such negligent behavior and bad attitude towards the guests. The rest of the staff was very friendly and attentive to us. I really liked the hotel, but the rest was ruined by the manager. We wanted to extend our stay from January 17th to 20th, but due to the attitude of the Abas manager towards the guests, we refused and moved to another hotel! We have already left a review on tripadvizor and will continue to talk about this incident on all Russian websites. Please review my complaint and take action with the Abas manager.
