For your money- top.
The **Sugar Marina Art** hotel is just a fairy tale! We really liked everything: from the cozy rooms to the amazing service.
The rooms are clean, stylish, and have a pleasant modern design. Cleaning came every day — everything was shining!
The breakfasts are simply delicious! A huge selection: fresh fruits, delicious pastries, traditional Thai dishes. It's a pleasure to start the day with such breakfasts.
But the most important thing is the staff! We rarely met such kind, helpful and always smiling people. They create a really warm atmosphere.
The hotel is very conveniently located: it is close to the beach, and there are many cafes, shops and entertainment around.
We are absolutely thrilled and will definitely come back again! **10 out of 10** — we recommend it to everyone! 🌟
*P.S. I especially remember the pool with evening lighting — a magical sight!*
Great hotel! Walking distance to Karon beach. The infrastructure is very developed! The breakfasts at the hotel are hearty. I booked a room with a view of the pool. And I got a big bonus, a view of the beach!( 3402) The number corresponds to the description!
In the room, bathrobe, shower towels, gel, shampoo, hair dryer, mosquito repellent cream. Beach towels, mat, slates. An umbrella if it starts to rain. Safe deposit box (free of charge) Mini fridge, welcome drinks in it (free of charge). Water was brought every day.The staff is attentive. Room cleaning, good. The bed is comfortable. The bed linen is snow-white.The beach is clean, there are plenty of sun loungers.❤️❤️❤️
The hotel is located in the very center of Karon beach, 3 minutes walk to the sea. The hotel itself is modern, the building has 4 floors, there is an elevator. There is a private swimming pool with a Jacuzzi and a children's area nearby, there are sun beds with umbrellas, and construction work was underway to install additional canopies during our vacation. Since the hotel only serves breakfast, there are tables next to the restaurant where you can have a snack with purchased food and just relax, there is a smoking area. We had a Deluxe room with a large balcony for three people with nice beds. The room also had a large sofa, a small refrigerator, a tea set, a bathroom with a bathtub, a shower stall and the toilet itself. Unfortunately, the wall was transparent, which disrupted privacy, especially at night. The breakfasts are excellent, a good selection of cold and hot dishes, vegetables, fruits, pastries, 2 coffee machines. There were always tables available. Dirty dishes were also cleaned immediately. There are many cafes, restaurants, makashnits, fruit stalls for every taste and budget nearby. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but you need to know a little English or have a translator on your phone. We took several excursions from our tour operator, it turned out to be a little more expensive than on the street, but the organization and fullness of the excursions were excellent. The sea is wonderful, warm, and even slightly refreshing in the morning. Sun beds are paid, 200 baht for 2 sun beds and an umbrella for the whole day, we took a couple of times, but since we practically did not lie down, but only swam, we did without them. The sun is furious, even when bathing hands and shoulders were smeared with sunscreen +50, protection is necessary, there were a lot of burned people. This was our first time in Thailand. I liked everything. I highly recommend the hotel. Next time, if it's Karon, it's just this hotel!
The hotel is gorgeous! There are a lot of advantages, namely:
breakfasts: very diverse, dishes for every taste. Soups of 3 types, vegetables, fruits, eggs of all kinds, rolls of all kinds, croissants, baked waffles, coffee, juices, etc
. location: close to the sea, around 3-4 pieces 7/11; profitable exchanger, excursions, fruits, smoothies.
swimming pool: the pool area, there is a cafe, you can order during the day, or you can come with your own in the evening)
The bass was cleaned, I saw it myself. Include a Jacuzzi
The staff: they are all very smart, there were no unpleasant situations.
Our room was without a balcony, in an old building, the windows overlook an abandoned hotel, the frogs organized a swamp instead of a pool and croaked all 10 nights without stopping))
I'll leave in the photo the name of the place where I recommend going (it's next to the Garage cafe, where there's live music, to the left of the hotel).
I do not recommend the Kiri Cafe on site. I don't understand the amount of rave reviews. We went to the 4th and nobody liked it.
The waiters don't care about you, the table is littered with dirty dishes, they won't clean up until you tell them, and they bring new dishes and try to put them on the table. The dishes taste so-so, the neighboring cafes are tastier and cheaper. There was a fan above our table that had seen a lot of life, dust on it, and pieces of something flying into your plate (and don't say that "this is Thailand, it's like this everywhere!" But not everywhere! The establishment is positioned as a RESTAURANT, not a roadside cafe, the price tag is not small, the interior is beautiful, it shouldn't be like this in such a beautiful establishment)
Anyway, the cannon hotel, we'll come back again 💯%)
We have been since 02.12.2024.I liked the hotel.Good location. It's quiet enough and there's a sea across the street! View of the pool. The breakfasts are good, there was always enough. The room has everything except a toothbrush and toothpaste. There were no towel hooks.
A safe, slippers, a refrigerator, a kettle, a hairdryer, bathrobes, umbrellas, a beach bag, a price tag for the beach - it's all in the room. The air conditioner was working fine and not noisy. Two cravats and a sofa. Towels and bed linen were changed.
There were big waves for three days. There were a lot of sun beds. We used them-100 dietary supplements. Recommend.
Good location, 7 minutes to the beach, next to a street with a million cafes, large rooms, cozy, interesting style, we had a room in the main building with access to the pool-gorgeous, helped out during the day in the heat. The breakfasts are monotonous, but you won 't stay hungry . Cleaning is daily on request, but sooo mediocre, wipe the floor with a mop and change towels, the tables were not dusted at all..
the staff is friendly but does not speak Russian at all. Yes, and it's difficult in English.,
There is a great cafe nearby, the veranda where we had dinner and the restaurant of the cover-I recommend it
The location is great!
A swimming pool, sun beds and a relaxation area.
The breakfasts are continental, not varied, but you will not stay hungry. Coffee is grainy, but not tasty and highly diluted (use the "stop" button in the coffee machine so as not to pour too much water) Puff pastry is often stale. They cook hot and delicious waffles with topping- the only pastries we ate. Plenty of chopped vegetables and green salads.
Our room (building 4) is a little tired. There is a tea/coffee maker. There are no shelves in the room for storing clothes, only hangers. I had to keep my clothes in a suitcase.
There's shampoo and soap in the shower. There are hats, ear sticks. But, there was no soap to wash my hands, neither solid nor liquid. The soap was placed only on the 5th day of arrival at the hotel. There are no toothbrushes or toothpaste either. The towels are good, clean, there are beach towels and a beach mat. There are even slippers for the beach, reusable, with traces of repeated use.
The Internet in the room only works in the hallway. You won't be able to use Wi-Fi while lying in bed.
One more moment. The hotel did not congratulate you on your birthday. A small thing, but unpleasant)
In general, the hotel is a solid and good three or stretched four for unassuming tourists.
The location is very cool, a five-minute leisurely walk takes you to the sea. The breakfasts are great, very varied, delicious, lots of fruits. After such breakfasts, you can safely skip lunch. The rooms are a little tired, the cleaning is not super-thorough, but it will do. Disposable supplies are terrible, take your own. In general, I recommend the hotel. And most importantly, do not take excursions from tour operators who come to the hotel. You will lose time and money.
The location is just great, the beach is 3 minutes from the hotel, cafes, pharmacies, fruits , shops are all nearby. The night market on Tuesdays and Fridays is within walking distance. The breakfasts are very good: scrambled eggs, omelette, fried, steamed bacon, sausages, fruits, pastries, soups, pasta, rice with pork and chicken, and much more! The rooms are small, the cleaning is done every day, the staff is polite. We liked everything!
Good afternoon! I visited Phuket from 10.03-19.03.2025, and stayed at the Sugar Marina Art Hotel, the room was comfortable enough, with a large bed, an additional sofa, and a large balcony where you can sit with a cup of coffee in the evenings. As for cleaning, it's generally not bad. The breakfasts are good, lots of vegetables:peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers. Omelet is made with vegetables. Sausages, bacon is really very overcooked. There are a lot of fruits papaya, watermelons, pineapples. There are coffee machines. And pies. The pool is a minus. In general, it is not possible for adults to swim there. Well, it's not necessary. 5min and you are at the sea. Near the hotel there is a currency exchange, a counter with clothes and small change, many shops with food and souvenirs. And it is not a little important to have a Kiri cafe. I ate there more often. Delicious caesar. The meat is cooked well. And it is comfortable. There are always no places in the Russian Veranda in the evening. And honestly, I wasn't impressed with the situation.I can recommend an Italian restaurant by appointment Rosmarino.
We had a rest with my husband from 17.01.25-29.01.25, I really liked everything. The place is gorgeous, everything is close by, the sea is 5 min. cafes nearby, restaurants. Of course, the hotel itself does not pull 4, we rested in the old building. The furniture was old and smelled of mothballs, the cleaning was done every day, the bed was changed every three days, the staff was very smiling. I would especially like to say about breakfasts, This is a rarity in Thailand, not all hotels serve this way. Three types of soup, vegetables, fruits, seafood. chicken. It's always been different. I think everyone can find something to eat and definitely won't stay hungry. I wish the hotel prosperity and success.
Nice hotel near the beach. Clean and well-maintained territory with a small swimming pool. Delicious, but not varied breakfasts. Friendly staff. The fastest check-in! We went to the reception and after 2 minutes we were escorted to the room, it was very unexpected and pleasant). There is a delicious curry cafe nearby, but the prices there are slightly higher than the neighboring cafes
Excellent hotel, very high-quality service, linen and towels are changed every day, the cuisine is delicious and varied, they always help at the reception, they communicated through an interpreter, very sincere people. I recommend Anex tour as the host, excellent guides, they conduct a lot of interesting excursions.
The 12-day vacation was intense, delicious and unforgettable. And what is important is the sea in 3-5 minutes. walking at a walking pace. In general, I recommend everyone to spend a few unforgettable days in this place. Thank you all very much
Nice hotel near the sea
Positive:
Incredibly varied breakfasts
Clean territory
Cons:
"Tired" numbers, they don't pull 4.
The Council:
It's better not to take tours from hotel guides, despite all the scares they tell.
There is an exchanger with a transfer from savings account or Tink to the local currency in the middle of Karon beach by the river opposite the dragon figure.
Hello! We rested here for the second time. Convenient location, delicious and hearty breakfasts, clean and cozy everywhere and always. There is a clean beach across the street - two sun beds with an umbrella of 200 baht for the whole day. The sea is gorgeous. Well, who cares - there is a gym. Free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
We had a rest in early April 2025. The location of the hotel is 5+, everything is nearby - the sea, shops, cafes, exchangers, a night market 2 times a week. When checking in, the deposit is taken! (there is a small area with a bar and relaxation areas). Room - 4th floor, pool view!(we didn't use it, but every morning we watched the cleaning, checking the water, so it's pretty clean), from the balcony (probably not, but we smoked) you can see the sea! It's not a small room, it's not new, but everything is clean. Everything works - safe, toilet, shower, washbasin (there was a slight smell from the drain), bathroom (convenient - they washed their feet, slates), shower gel and hands, shampoo are present. there is no general air conditioning, well-regulated Towels, bed linen are clean not torn (they change regularly on request, as well as the tidy) Audibility - you can't hear the neighbors at all (they were definitely there), only from the hallway (it didn't bother us), the TV is working through the front door (1-2 programs in Russian) Elevator 1 but never waited longer than 1-2 minutes, it works well, with us I didn't break down, they didn't contact the reception (there was no need), we ordered a lunch box once (went on an excursion), collected everything, gave it out. The dining room downstairs is clean (since opening), everything is good, comfortable, there are enough places for everyone! There are few tables outside. The passability is high (3 buildings, a lot of people, not everyone tries to keep clean, the staff cleans as much as possible) The breakfasts are very good, the choice of dishes is large (we didn't even have time to try everything in 11 days) there was a queue for coffee (3 coffee machines, sometimes not all work) A couple of times we were at 10 o'clock with the entire assortment as in the morning from the opening (except yogurt), we did not take lunches and dinners (only breakfasts). The only negative (the smell of sewage) on the way to the beach, however, it is present all along the coast on Karon.
Pros: very close to the sea, good breakfasts-hot, vegetables, fruits, decent coffee. Excellent two-meter-wide beds, good linen and towels. Cons: the four of us arrived, with relatives, from different cities. They asked to settle nearby. They even gave rooms in different buildings, although the check-in was large, it was certainly possible to get closer. They only check in at three o'clock, so you probably can't hope earlier. It's a small lobby, rather stuffy, and there's not enough room for everyone. Of course, you can leave your bags and go about your business. Our room was in the second building, where the lobby is, with a window on a blank wall. The second pair is in the fourth. There is a disadvantage-a strong smell of sewage in the hallway and in the room. Moreover, it does not smell in the toilet. They promised to relocate, we are waiting. This is our first time in Phuket, there is nothing to compare it with. In general, there are more pluses than minuses.
I was on vacation with friends in March 2025. The location of the hotel is convenient, the beach is 3-5 minutes away and the staff is friendly. The advantages end there... the hotel has 2 buildings, one of which is considered new, and the other (where the reception is located)- the old one. We were moved into an old building with a view of a concrete wall. The room is more or less clean and spacious, the bed is changed if the sign is hung. White towels are available in the room, and gray towels can be taken to the beach. There is an air conditioner and it is located above the bed. Water is also brought or you can ask at the reception if there is not enough. The Internet is terrible, it's impossible to watch videos, make phone calls, and send videos. The Internet only works for sending and receiving simple text messages.
The breakfasts here are monotonous and not tasty. I could only eat waffles, eggs, rolls, vegetables and fruits.
The beach is beautiful and clean. A sunbed with an umbrella cost 200 baht for the whole day. Unfortunately, there are no cabins on the beach where you can change clothes and a faucet where you can wash your feet. We walked to the hotel and there we were already washing our feet from the sand.
There is a swimming pool, but it is most likely for children. We have never used the pool because we came to relax by the sea)) despite the fact that it is warm, like fresh milk around the clock!
Nearby there are many cafes, massage, shops, exchangers.
Unfortunately, for me, this hotel attracts a solid, confident two, but not a four. In the future, I will take a closer look at hotels in Thailand.
Overall, the rest was a success and I enjoyed it!
I wish everyone to visit this wonderful place.🫶🏻
We were in July. The hotel is not bad for its category, good location, everything is within walking distance. The room is not big, but comfortable. Cleaned daily. I was a little confused by the bathroom at the entrance, which was not zoned, but apparently this is their * Art.
Normal breakfasts. The pool was under renovation, but then we already asked the agent who sent us here.
Nice hotel. The location is very convenient. Near the sea, the bazaar, several shops 7/11, cafes. The hotel has decent breakfasts. Quite a large selection of different dishes. As they are eaten, they are quickly replenished. There are several swimming pools on site. Pools are cleaned every morning. I recommend the hotel
The location is great, everything is nearby, and the sea, and the market, and cafes, and street trade.
The deluxe room is generally not bad, but it's a little cramped for three adults, and it's normal for two. The service is excellent.
The breakfasts are pretty monotonous, but you can find something to eat. The trouble with coffee machines is that they always fail.
The overall impression of the hotel is 4.
Nice hotel. Delicious breakfasts. A very cool pool for kids. In the evening, you can swim directly from the room, exit through the shower and from the veranda. The beach is 3 minutes away. All infrastructure is nearby.
Cons: the faucet in the sink is 15 cm, it's not clear why it's there at all.
Nice hotel, 7 minutes to the beach, the rooms are clean, not "tired", excellent, spacious shower. There are chairs on the balcony, you can sit in the evening. Breakfast is a buffet, there is enough food, there are enough places. There is not enough closet in the room instead of an open hanger. I recommend.
A good hotel: clean, tidy, courteous staff, there are towels for the wardrobe, a bag, a mat, they always put water in the refrigerator, good breakfasts. The windows of the room faced the courtyard from the reception area, so it was periodically noisy from technical work and unloading of official vehicles.
The beach is nearby
A review for those who have vacationed in Turkey many times and decided to try Thailand.
The rooms are not tidy, -
Cleaning every day +
Location of norms+
Glass doors in the toilet and bathroom between them are a vestibule with a door that is not transparent. Not functional.. If someone is washing, they see someone who is in the toilet. -
There are a lot of chipped unwashed dishes in the cafe. -
The breakfasts are tolerable, the coffee is disgusting -
A pool with muddy water, but it is cleaned once a day..
If you turn down the kinder, it will smell damp -
If you stay late at the check-out, you will be fined 500 baht per hour.. And no loyalty. It's not written anywhere, but they will definitely write and put a piece of paper in the room so that you know when you return from the tour, etc.)))
We will definitely not go to this hotel a second time.
Nice hotel. I recommend.
Of the advantages: the breakfasts are very tasty, especially the soups, which were served for breakfast as many as 3 options every morning; a lot of fruit for breakfast; the rooms are spacious enough, the beach is nearby, the entire infrastructure is also in the neighborhood; they are cleaned well and every day
Among the disadvantages: the dining room, where breakfast is held, is cramped, there are constantly queues or there are not enough cups for coffee, but if you come early, then everything is fine; there are very few hangers and hangers in the rooms, where to hang clothes is unclear.
And another joint is the guide Malobek (I think that's the name of this Turk). It seems like a well-mannered person, with extensive work experience, but so unrestrained, allowed himself strange attacks against tourists, was demonstratively nervously offended by refusals to buy tours from him, tried to "educate" some tourists, tried to force some to write written refusals from tours, in short - kindergarten and shame. This disadvantage does not apply to the hotel, but be prepared that you may come across this unpleasant and unprofessional guide.
The hotel is nice. There's an old building and a new building. The staff is polite. They are cleaned and tidy every day. The hotel is 5 minutes from the beach. Near the hotel there is a bazaar, restaurants, pharmacies, a minimarket, exchange offices, tours. Everything you need is nearby.
An excellent city hotel for its price category, convenient location, 10 minutes to the beach at a leisurely pace. The entire infrastructure is nearby- cafes, massages, currency exchangers, fruit stalls, 7/11.
Comfortable rooms, spacious bathroom, delicious breakfasts, nearby shops, including 7/11, with Russian products, pharmacies, fruit and souvenir sales, cafes and restaurants for all tastes, 7 minutes to the beach. We had a rest with the family, we liked it
We only arrived from a vacation on March 12th. The hotel is not bad, it's worth 4. The location is really very convenient. The breakfasts are wonderful, if something ends, they bring it right away. About the room, it's certainly not big, but there's enough space, the bed is just super, big, comfortable, the linen is very clean. The cleaning did not disappoint either, the towels were changed every day. Of the cons, there is no iron, although there is in the description, there are no lockers for clothes, well, somehow we have come to terms with it. And most importantly, do not take guided tours from the hotel. Marina was with us, she "sang" everything very beautifully, but it's her job to fool people's heads. We took a two-day Phi Phi island tour, the organization was disgusting, the hotel where we stayed was terrible, the food was bad, there weren't even enough places for everyone in the boat, people were sitting on the refrigerator and on the steps. And the cost of wow!!! The price and quality don't match at all. And this is Anex tour.
The location is excellent, there are many shops, pharmacies, cafes nearby, the Kiri restaurant from the hotel is excellent, we have been to it several times, I recommend visiting. Breakfast is good, everything is there, a lot of vegetables and pastries, eggs in all kinds, waffles are baked, hot, rice, everything is delicious, but the trouble with coffee is: two coffee machines: one brews instant nescafe, very sour and bitter it is impossible to drink, the second makes grain coffee, but for a very long time, and therefore the queue there is always coffee, of course the hotel needs a coffee machine faster.
Our room was in the third building opposite the reception. There is no ramp at the entrance to this building, only steps, it is terribly uncomfortable with a stroller, I had to carry the stroller in my arms. I liked it: there is a small pool on the second floor, there are few people there and there is a shower, but the walls of the pool have a century-old calcareous plaque, stalactites already. There is a good shower in the room, the water pressure is good, the rooms are cleaned every day, towels are changed, water is added. I didn't like it: it feels like this building is old, when it was another hotel, the Marina took it for themselves, brought it to a common style, but old age and dilapidation are felt, the rooms always smell damp, it is very dark, there is no light in the main room except for bedside lamps, there is also nowhere to hang things, there is one rod at the entrance, two hooks and several hangers. The bathroom is very small, there are no towel hooks in the bathroom at all, it is unclear where to hang towels, there was a long-standing spider web hanging on the ceiling above the bed, the tulle is dirty, the paintings on the walls are all splattered and stained, it is unclear what it is at all.
The audibility through the front door is excellent, you can hear every rustle and every word, and even from neighboring rooms.
I didn't like the main pool either, the water is muddy, it feels dirty, there are showers but they don't work, the staff offered a shower in the pool, which is a children's attraction ... there are a lot of sun loungers, few umbrellas, it's unclear what was on renovation here in the summer.
Rolls and leftovers are floating in the pool, empty plastic bottles are thrown. The staff seemed friendly.
In general, I did not like the hotel, the feeling of neglect and abandonment. I fell for the children's slides by the pool, in the end we did not go to the pool because it was dirty. The Globus Library brings package tourists here by bus, as well as many package tourists from other countries.
Overall, I didn't like it. It's definitely not very good with children.
Well, what can I say about this hotel, 4 buildings, we got into the 4 freshest, the rooms are clean, the cleaning is like everywhere else, everything will be refilled and cleaned.
1. Food: there are no problems with this, there is abundance even at breakfast, of course there are people who want 10 types of cucumbers and 5 types of tomatoes, but you are in another country where everything is different.
2. Location: one of the best! There is no noise from transport, restaurants and entertainment are just a step away! Just like the sea.
3. Staff: the only drawback, there are problems with the Russian language, but if there is a translator or you know English, all the problems are solved, using our example: we were walking by the pool, threw towels and went to have a snack, upon returning the towel there are strangers on the sun beds, asked a question how so? Mega quickly brought a new umbrella and sun beds! + complementary!
Definitely coming back!
We stayed at this hotel in January 2025. I recommend. Clean. Well-groomed, despite the contrast. The infrastructure is within walking distance. Of the cons, this can only be said about the coffee machine. Sometimes we had to wait a long time because the neighboring ones were broken, but this is from the category of digging!!! Otherwise, everything is fine!!!
A good hotel, convenient location, many different cafes, makashkas and shops, the beach across the street, the hotel itself is quite new, good room stock, delicious breakfasts, room cleaning is tolerable.
We lived in a large two-room family room! In principle, it's not a bad hotel, but it's a little too valuable for him! The hotel is small, everything is nearby that you need!
The breakfasts are terrible, there's nothing to eat and it's very hot there... after that I didn't even go to breakfast
We arrived after 15.00, so we checked in right away. The 4th floor building has a reception, the room is good, everything is working, the air conditioning in the corridor is comfortable, there were no unpleasant odors. There is a balcony with a view of the mountain and the neighboring building, water in the refrigerator and a compliment from the hotel in the form of fanta and cola. The only negative was that the shower water was leaking a little (but we knew about it from the prev. That's why I had a floor cloth with me - it came in handy). A rope and clothespins for drying clothes were also useful. About cleaning: on demand: no problem, the maid is almost always on the floor. The breakfasts were good enough and delicious, the accommodation was taken with the dinners that were in Kiri's restaurant, I liked it, but as previously written, the menu did not change all 10 days (I would like a variety). The location of the hotel is excellent. In general, many thanks to the staff of the Kiri hotel and restaurant for a great stay!
Minuses:
- they don't clean very well, there are old traces of dirt.
- towels are stained
- the hotel is already tired, cosmetic repairs are needed in some places
- there are no disposable slippers for the room (they may be issued on request, but we did not ask)
Positive:
- nice staff, they understand English
- there are towels for the sea (but remember that they are probably stained too, I didn't look because they took their own) and a beach mat
- a good breakfast — fruits, vegetables, yoghurts, waffles, scrambled eggs, omelets and more satisfying and hot dishes (noodles, meat, stewed vegetables), pastries, juices, tea, coffee. Everything is quite edible
- 5 minutes to the sea and away from the road, otherwise it would be noisy
- there are many shops and restaurants around the hotel, we can recommend Kiri (it's right from the hotel) and Veranda (5-7 minutes on foot, Russian and Thai cuisine).
From observations:
- the access to the pool from the balcony was never used, it turned out to be a dubious thing for us, well, the pool was not particularly clean, but from the photo it seemed bigger and longer
- the bathtub was also useless, it's too dirty to take it.
I have something to compare this hotel with — it was much worse in Turkey. That's why everything was tolerable for me here. And in general, the hotel did not spoil the impression of Thailand.
The hotel is located five minutes from the beach, but
at the same time away from the highway and from the busy streets with brisk trade, so you can not hear the noise of cars. It consists of four buildings that form a cozy interior space. The hotel has two swimming pools - one is located right in the center of the territory, the other in the courtyard of one of the buildings.
If you take a room with a view of the pool, you will listen to music all day - an amateur option.
I don't know how the buildings differ inside, but they definitely differ in the novelty of the room stock, as it is clear that they were built at different times.
I'll tell you right away by the number - the review is only about the room I lived in, I don't know about the rest - this is the only room in my entire travel experience in Asia that I didn't have any questions about cleanliness, even the balcony was cleaned upon arrival. The room is very spacious with a huge bed - there is everything you need, including even umbrellas. Tea, coffee, and water are replenished every day. The set of towels includes beach towels.
The disadvantage is the lack of a closet for things - instead there was an open bookcase where you can hang a very limited number of clothes.
The air conditioner was working, the lights were all on, the plumbing was not leaking - in general, everything that was needed was functioning normally, which was a surprise to me).
The room has a full-fledged! rectangular! a spacious balcony and a small dryer on the wall.
The territory is well maintained, the staff is friendly and attentive.
The breakfasts are uniform, but we didn't get tired of them during the vacation.
The hotel has several exits and entrances, and within a 2-5-minute walk you have full access to the beautiful beach, as well as to any format of local establishments - cafes, restaurants, massage, pharmacy.
To summarize, it's a very good hotel, next time only here.
The location is very good, 3 minutes to the sea
The breakfasts are wonderful, for the first time in Thailand such a variety in a budget hotel. Cleaning and changing towels every day, cleaned very well. Linen is changed every two days, white linen is not washed. The Kiri restaurant at the hotel is generally gorgeous, full of people all day, not only hotel guests, but also a lot of visitors from the street. They cook delicious European and Thai cuisine, the portions are large and the serves are very beautiful.
The staff is helpful. We had a situation that one night in a nearby bar, the event dragged on until late at night and it was sooo loud. We came to the reception with a claim, they immediately gave us the keys to a clean room in another building and offered to spend the night there, and in the morning they even offered to move into this room without extra charges, although it was higher class.
Among the disadvantages, I note the lack of umbrellas over the sun beds on the pool. There were enough sun beds themselves, but not all of them were under umbrellas. And despite the recent renovation, the hotel does not look new, although we tried very hard to bring beauty to it. Old age and shabbiness betray a lot in him.
Nice hotel within walking distance to Karon beach. Good breakfasts. There is a large enough and convenient parking lot in case you rent a car. Many hotels do not have parking in principle. There were no problems with the staff, they were cleaned daily and well. For the first five days, we did not pick up the tips left near the mirror, although we increased their amount daily. The issue was resolved when the money was transferred to the table next to the bed - only then they were taken away and left a note of thanks)
The air conditioning in the room is positioned so as not to blow on you when you are lying on the bed - and this is a huge plus. A lot of hotels install air conditioning so that it blows directly at you. Personally, I can't stand it, because after this I usually fall down with otitis media.
There is a wonderful Kiri restaurant next to the hotel - I also highly recommend it. But do not overdo it, because in this institution the expectation / reality is purely in your favor - what seems to be "a little snack" in the picture, in reality it will be "my mother is a woman, I'm going to crack!".
Nice hotel. Close to the beach, 3-4 minutes at a measured pace. The staff is always smiling, there are no problems, all the household issues that arise are easily resolved. The rooms are cleaned every day, towels too. I recommend.
The hotel is close to the sea, right across the street. It consists of several buildings. The rooms are already a little tired. Cleaning during the day can not wait, as well as filling the mini-bar, the slow work of the maids. Breakfast dishes are not updated if they are finished. Except for fruits. You may not find the yogurt hot either. Lunch boxes, if necessary, are ordered at an early check-out, are not particularly tasty. There are not enough dishes in the rooms either. Only coffee cups and water glasses are available. There is simply nowhere to cut the fruit anymore.
I really liked the hotel, delicious varied breakfasts, there were fruits: pineapples, watermelons, papaya, dragon, tangerines, vegetables, herbs, there were even shrimp!!!!! The room is large, clean, and has a large bed (you can even sleep with three people). Cleaning was done every day, they even gave beach towels, a beach mat, a beach bag and a large umbrella. The beach is nearby, 10 minutes walk, cafes nearby, fruit for sale, seven-eleven store. We took excursions at the hotel, but you can also take them on the street, it will be cheaper. If you take a tour of the "Heart of Phuket", then get ready that you will be taken to pharmacies and given pills, do not be fooled. In fact, there will be the same pills near your hotel, only 10 times cheaper. Also take an excursion to the Phi Phi islands, we took a two-day trip. We also took tickets to the Fantasy show, we also really liked it, the show is very bright, with the participation of animals, especially elephants, children will also like it, you can also have dinner there. Yes, about the sea, the sea is super clean, azure, only there were strong and big waves, since we were in October, I don't know maybe in other months the sea is calmer and very tanned, although it was cloudy and there were rains, but they were a maximum of half an hour. They say it doesn't rain in November. Fruits here are inexpensive coconut 150p., beer 120p., seafood is expensive, shrimp 1200p. kilogram with you they can be grilled with garlic very tasty. So come to Thailand, have a good rest!!!!!
The hotel is a mistake because of the belief that since it is located in such a terrible place, then the hotel must be good. In the end, alas. We got the number 2311. In the old building, above the conditional reception. I've never seen a proper cleaning room, at least on the day of the guests' arrival. Starting from dust, non-working switches, lack of hot water, remnants of dirt apparently from previous tenants. The staff is the exact opposite of the kind, helpful Thais we've met many times. Here, with a stony face, it's not that woman, it's not that, she doesn't want to listen to anything, she won't do anything, she can only call the master to make water(how can guests from the road check in at 19:00 so that a Thai master can come to fix the water?) the absurdity, the ugliness, and the complete lack of willingness of the staff to solve the smallest issues (I'm not talking about something really serious). It was immediately clear when the other guests were asked to call a taxi, they were sent to go outside to tuk-tuk!!! Wow!!! That's what the client was helped with. After Phi Phi, I thought nothing would surprise me (the format is two or three days of carousing), but this hotel surpassed everything that could have been. The service is zero, the staff is zero, the hotel is 1 star. Tomorrow will show the rest.,,
Overall, the experience of the hotel is strange, starting with the fact that there is no outlet in the bathtub. My wife had to use a hair dryer in the room, but the mirror is located even more strangely (at waist level) as a result, I had to sit in a chair and bend down to see myself in the mirror. It seems like a strange decision to me. The second point is that there is only one chair in the deluxe double room. Don't you need a second one? There are not enough shelves in the closet for storing things, But for some reason they put a bathtub in!!! I don't understand who needs it. Okay, a bathtub with a view of the mountains, etc. But here you'll be staring at the wall. And in general, as they say, everything starts with the head (reception), as for me, this is the accounting office, where there is a ficus in a pot, a pile of paper folders, a bag under the table, cups, chargers, computers, etc. But this is not the place that welcomes guests first!!! A good hotel, the territory is small, but there is a large enough swimming pool. The rooms are clean and cozy. There are tables near the hotel at the entrance, where it is fashionable to have dinner by buying food yourself
The rest period is December 2023. We had a great rest, the hotel is very nice. A large comfortable room, everything is clean, the renovation is fresh. The room was cleaned perfectly. The breakfasts are delicious, fruits, porridge, fried eggs. The location is convenient-5-7 minutes to the beach, but you need to cross the road twice. Opposite the hotel there is an exchange office with a good exchange rate. Nearby there are restaurants, tour desks..I recommend the hotel!
The location in relation to the sea is gorgeous, 5 min. The food at the hotel is not bad, there are plenty to choose from, but I didn't have enough fish - I didn't see it there, but there are a lot of fruits.
The rooms are excellent, the cleaning is good.
The main advantage is a 5-minute walk to the beach. And so there are no more than three, you need to go to breakfast by 8:00 or you won't be able to eat, there are a lot of people. It is rarely cleaned, linen is changed only on demand, and it has not been changed for 2 weeks. The room is generally not bad, but there are always a lot of mosquitoes, we buy mosquito repellent and plug it in. The pool is small only for children, it is not suitable for adults. Of course not the four !!!
