The hotel is good because it is within walking distance from the city center, next to the main embankment, drama theaters (Abkhazian and Russian), not far from the Naarta restaurant, where the best Abkhazian boats are made. And most importantly, it stands directly on the seashore. The sound of waves can be heard in the rooms all night! Romance )
Of the cons: architecture, service, menu - Soviet in quality and in fact. Water and electricity are often turned off! But, these are probably the problems of the city.
The nature, climate and people of Abkhazia are blessed by God)))

On the upper floors, the view is just fire. The rooms are clean, there is a TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, Wi-Fi on the territory catches in places, but this is not so important since we came to rest. The buffet food is quite tasty, but some visitors of this hotel who (all inclusive) just take pigs with their hands from a common plate, although there are always forks or spoons nearby. A great place has everything you need for a tourist. The territory is very large, landscaping works are underway, etc. I was this year and compared to last year (I did not rest here) the guys did a lot during the year, but there is still a lot ahead.

I'm lucky! I got a room in the nicest and main building "Cypress" on the 14th floor..corner with a view of the Sukhum embankment! It's just a fairy tale! You can put 5 stars for this number alone! But I'm only betting 4..since I really did not like the way the food is organized in this boarding house and the food itself is certainly not of the best quality.. And so the place is great! The beach is not bad, but due to the fact that the sand is at the bottom...the sea is muddy..The park has not been fully improved yet. And there are a lot of abandoned buildings in the park. In general, due to the building and the room - 4 stars! And a very strange event is the free distribution of French fries from the cradle..queues are like in a movie theater..It's like people go out hungry after lunch and run for a second lunch.

A good economical option of the hotel. The food is good. Beer, chacha, juices are all included. The pool is open until 20h. We lived in the chestnut building. The repair is fresh BUT!!!The only fat disadvantage is the complete lack of cleaning and the lack of replacement of linen and towels. There was a dirty floor in the common hall of our building all the time. Our room was cleaned only 2 times in 14 days, and this was only after the maid was simply scandalously forced to clean up. They didn't even bother to wash the toilet before we started checking in. There is age-old dust under the bed and on the cupboards, on the air conditioner, it was not cleaned at all. The shower room was dirty. The maids do not give clean towels to replace them at all. There were no hooks or holders in the shower at all.
The absence of mosquito nets on the windows, with an abundance of mosquitoes, makes it impossible to ventilate.

The service is poorly organized, a small dining room, few sun beds on the beach (there is a war for them in the morning, in summer) for 7 buildings, a river flowing into the sea (in the rain, the dirty sea on the beach of the hotel). Cleaning of the rooms and the building for three. Even in new buildings, there are problems with towel rails (leaky, rusty). The food is monotonous. But the good-natured receptionists at the reception, especially Esma.

Country of the soul!!! Everything is fine for this money. I had a rest in winter, I would hardly have gone in summer, near the mouth of a river or canal, it doesn't matter. It's not small enough, and you can guess that the water there is not spring water))) . There is a swimming pool, a dining room, some kind of playground, children's or abandoned, you won't immediately understand)) The food is for three, but it's normal for the money. The service in the canteen is even worse than the food, but dogs and pigeons are being kicked out already well!!!))) Pigeons are tricky by the way))) they steal food and sit on pillars near the ceiling. The main thing when choosing a place is to look at the top, so as not to sit under a flock of pigeons)))
There is air conditioning, there is no heating, there are no heaters either, so if you eat warm socks in winter, be sure to take them, the floor is very cold!!! They don 't give you slippers . If the room is two-room, then there is no air conditioning in one room, I think it is very hot in summer, and cold in winter, respectively. We got a heater somewhere and transferred it to other two-room rooms, we agreed among ourselves! but the window in our room could not be opened, behind the plastic window, there is another, old, Soviet window and the windows do not match))) But this is only for rooms without a balcony in a large building.
The whole review is about the big building, I haven't been to the small one, but the rooms look better there.
By the way, they sell excursions on the territory, so they are almost twice as expensive as they are sold by "type" local tour operators)))
In the end: plus it's Nature!!! Mountains! Huge trees, well, the price, you don't have to stand in the dining room for this cost and swear that the food is not delicious, the main thing is that it is there))) it's better to take a spoon and fork with you, they definitely won't be enough for you))) On New Year's Eve, 12 cases of champagne were brought for free and poured at the reception, which is another plus.
The beach was very dirty, but then they started cleaning it up, maybe they'll clean it up by the summer)).
In fact, the only disadvantages are garbage on the beach, a playground where it is dangerous to let children in, and an evil cook)) who doesn't mind going out and having a fight with visiting gourmets)). Pigeons, by the way, didn't like them either, and As in the song, Pigeon, pigeon)))

Probably, one day this hotel will become a good one, but for now there is nothing to praise, except for the rich nature and good care of vegetation on the vast territory of the hotel, unfortunately. Everything is very poorly organized: food, check-in, convenience of living. We often rest in Abkhazia, but not once during the week of our stay! and they never even took out the trash from the room, this is definitely the first time. Or that there are no bed linen or towels at check-in! In my opinion, this is unacceptable!
Regarding food: do not provide the necessary amount of simple plates or cutlery in the dining room (you can't call it a restaurant: walk with trays and clean up the dishes while the staff of this institution in the number of 5-7 people stand at the entrance, demanding to show guest cards or just loaf around in the hall)- in my opinion, this indicates a very low organization!
Will we come back again - definitely not!

Good afternoon. We rested with 2 families from 08.08.24 to 08/16.24. I did not go to Abkhazia for 6 years, before that I rested only there. And it was this place that left a bad residue. So, in order: we arrived at 12 p.m. (by the way, the car time there is converted to Georgian + 1 hour, but they focus on Moscow). The reception informed that according to the check-in, after 14:00. Until that time, you can walk around the territory, come to 13:00 to get bracelets on your hands and go to the dining room for lunch, and after lunch check into the room. I want to say right away that there are no toilets on the territory, except for 1 near the reception (not clean and without paper). There are no coolers anywhere, or the opportunity to drink water. After waiting for lunch, I was shocked at how the meal was going, it reminded me of Black Friday or a sale. People are standing in a crowd at the entrance to the dining room, waiting for 13:00 and breaking down when the doors open. It's just wild. Again, there is no place to wash your hands, there is a bottle with a septic tank. After running in, and not going in, people do not move in one stream, but chaotically, after standing for 2 minutes over 1 dish and realizing that I would not be able to take it (people snatch scoops), I decided to wait. After 15 minutes, when everything calmed down a little, I got enough food, and it was enough, they brought it and changed it in a timely manner, I managed to eat. Another note, when the dishes were finished, disposable ones were displayed, not to mention the glasses, which are always disposable. You need to carry the plates on a tray and clean up after yourself (this can hardly be called everything on). The alcohol that is prescribed in the tour is there, but it was given out in the lobby bar near the reception (I would like to have wine in the dining room with meat, but ...). After lunch we went to check in, and here it is even more interesting: our room lacked 2 towels, a cot (as an extra place) and bed linen in yellow spots (although it can be seen that it has been erased). My brother's room was not cleaned at all and there was also no cot. In the room where the mother and son were accommodated, there was no bedding at all. I went down to the reception, clarified all these questions, eliminated everything, but we can't bring it to the room without linen yet, they are taking it from another place?!?! They brought it only at 6 p.m., and it was to an elderly 65-year-old man who drove to them for 15 hours in a car. By the evening, the cots had not appeared (I came down at 8 p.m. I reminded them). The kids (3 boys 13, 14 and 10 years old) swam in the pool while we were checking in. In the evening we went to the sea.... And oh, the horror... It is not dirty in Abkhaz. It's all the fault of the river, which flows 100 meters from the hotel into the sea. And judging by the look, and the smell of sewage. There was no limit to my disappointment. The sea is always very clean in Abkhazia... But here... And as a result, the children were the first to catch rotovirus, already at night they were leaking, I'm sorry, from all the cracks. And there are a lot of such children and people on the territory. Subsequently, we all got sick too, and as they say, rest was ... or. Another disadvantage was carrying out work on the territory (laying tiles, delivering materials), which is associated with noise, dust and the inability to rest normally (do it in the off-season). I'm going back to the cots:my patience ran out by midnight, I went downstairs and said that I would not leave until they brought me, well, or let them give me a room for 2. The answer is killed-no cot?! After a little explanation ... , they began to search... And lo and behold, after 1.5 hours, the cots were in the rooms with bedding, but without pillows. More cons:for 7 days, there has never been a cleaning or linen change, you constantly need to ask to take out the trash (sometimes they took it out themselves because they ignored it). I repeat, there is no water anywhere. To dilute or wash down medicines, I had to go down from the 8th floor, collect 2 cups of 0.2 liters and go upstairs with them. In the morning, I went to the store and bought 5 liters, bottling what was left from the road. Maybe I missed something else. In conclusion, this is not a hotel, as they position themselves, everything is included. I do not recommend it for recreation.

That's the end of our vacation, in the "Land of the Soul". We had a rest for 2 adults + a child (9 years old) , 9 days. I want to say that this is not the first time in Abkhazia, for many years we rested in Agudzer, at my uncle's apartment, but decided this year to change the rest. My impressions:
1. The hotel. The location, the nature is just great. Waking up to the sound of the sea, the singing of birds, it's wonderful to walk along the embankment, a lot of cafes is also a big plus. The repair in the rooms is normal, the garbage was cleaned, funds and toilet paper were brought. The room was not cleaned. The towels were not changed. We lived in the 1st building "Cypress", the 4th floor Elevator is very strange, we almost always walked, sometimes of course we used it when we didn't have the strength to climb.
2. The dining room. This is our first time using the All-inclusive system. The system has not "entered". We didn't always go to the dining room. You can choose to eat, you won't stay hungry. But with the mugs, the trouble is. We went with our own and took our own coffee. The chicken is a priority, in principle I treat it normally, but of course it gets boring. In the process, you will understand what is better to take and what is not. I didn't like the soups. I took noodles twice , and beans 1 time. In the morning, they give broth with chicken, you can eat it. But everyone has their own tastes. Of course, people are hungry, they grab pizza, rolls in such quantities that they obviously won't eat. We didn't join the battle, we just left.The guys are obviously trying, running. A wing and fries, they took 4 times. And then not for everyone, usually the child ran. But there were also cases when they wanted to skip dinner, take only wings and fries, stood in line for 40 minutes, and everything ended for us. Tubes, too, were taken 3 times. I liked Gudauta beer, juice, wine and chacha did not.
3. Swimming pool. I won't say much about him. I allowed the child to swim in it 2 times. The stench from it is terrible. I was told it was the smell of chlorine, but that's the smell I'm hearing for the first time. Although we have a swimming pool at home, we add both bleach and chemicals. But it looks beautiful)
4. The sea and the beach. The sea certainly upset me. I am not a spoiled person, I read the reviews of others, I thought that everything would be normal for me. But no, the sea is dirty, and it's not just because there's sand. Of course, the river spoils everything. I'm sorry, but 2 times, not really decomposed ones came to us, we were shocked. Of course, they didn't rate it closely, but it was very similar. Once I went for a walk along the embankment, sat down to drink coffee in the Brekhalovka, grandfather abhaz was sitting next to me, asked for the sea, he said where our hotel was, the sea was always dirty, even in Soviet times. If you walk over the bridge over the river, you can see how the sewer drains into it. One day we were very pleased with the sea. It was surprisingly clean.The sea on the Mocha beach is love. It is not so far away, but the difference is enormous. There were 2 times. Of course, it is not convenient to drive all the time. I won't even waste time writing for the sun beds, it's not possible to occupy them. We swam in front of the Eucalyptus building. A very big disadvantage is that there is no toilet on the beach.
5. Rotavirus. He touched me and my husband to a small extent, the day before departure. The child is still holding up. My brother's family was still on vacation with us, they were so unlucky. The whole family got sick on the 3rd day of their stay. And they haven't fully recovered yet. But they coped on their own, they did not go to the medical center.
Conclusion. Next year, we plan to find a house near mocha beach. It's better to pay for a sun lounger with a canopy and swim in the clear sea. Eat on your own. Or maybe we decide not to go to Abkhazia. The ticket cost 65,000, and we spent 55,000 more. These are food, beer, wine, water, an excursion to New Athos, 2 dinners in Anasyp. We missed a lot of meals in the dining room, then the time didn't suit us, then we left or just didn't want that food. Next year, obviously the price tag of the hotel will soar, but it's not worth it. Perhaps it will be good outside the season. And now they can't cope with such an influx of tourists.

Several buildings, we lived in the 14-storey first building. The room is clean, air conditioning, refrigerator, TV. There is a buffet in the dining room, some vacationers behave like pigs, picking up whole trays of food and leaving everything on the tables. It was the ugliest thing ((. The waiters tried to keep up with replacing empty trays and bringing clean dishes.

The complex has a large well-maintained territory. Some buildings receive vacationers after repair, some buildings are in the process of repair. We lived in building No. 1, everything that was originally indicated in the voucher (kettle, air conditioning in the room, hair dryer in the bathroom, clothes dryer) was in the room. The friendly maid asked if we needed anything. The administrators answered our questions, there was a problem with the plumbing, they quickly accepted the application and passed it on to their jurisdiction. During our absence, which was 2 hours, the problem was solved, as we learned from the maid. Temperamental waiters are very uplifting in the dining room. But it has repeatedly become a shame for vacationers, where people's upbringing and culture of behavior and communication go, it is not clear, however, many believe that they are not treated that way. Personally, I did not hear a single rude word addressed to me, the response to my requests from the staff was adequate. Summing up the above, I want to say: "People, treat others the way you would like to be treated."

But there are disadvantages - it's food (dirt, there are no appliances all the time, there is no tea at lunch, you can't drink drinks at the bar). 1. The dining room. Such a mess has never been seen before. There are a lot of people and obviously the dining room can't cope, you constantly have to wait for plates, glasses, spoons, forks. The dishes are all dirty and greasy. You have to wipe the tables with napkins yourself, you won't get any workers. There is clearly not enough distribution line for such a number of people. The unsanitary conditions are complete. Vacationers, in order to get their own food, do not wait for the appliances and grab everything with dirty hands from the trays. There are not enough tables either, you have to stand and look for a table that will be free.
The water for tea and coffee in the water heating devices does not have time to boil, the maximum heats up to 60 degrees, so think about what kind of water we use here.
2. Lobby bar. Alcoholic beverages are included in the declared "all inclusive", but there are constantly no glasses, beer has not been brought, the filling machine has broken, or one foam is flowing. At the reception, they do not give clarity to the comments. Also according to the declared intermediate meals in the grill bar. Burgers are announced, but in fact they are not. When asked for what reason, the answer was that the girl alone prepares them and physically does not have time, so they are not there. It turns out that all this is paid for by the voucher, but in fact it is not. It's very sad.
3. Cleaning the rooms. You need to ask for a change of linen and towels and clean the room. The maids said we will clean your room tomorrow, but 2 days have passed since then and there has been no one.
4. There are no mosquito nets in the room, if you open the window, then mosquitoes are right there.
5. Animation is monotonous every day.
6. There are a lot of people with rotavirus, all you hear is that everyone is rinsing. The child has also caught up with us.
To summarize, we can say that the all-on system works according to the all-off system. There is absolutely no customer orientation. It is absolutely not worth the money that was given for the ticket. Expectations were not fulfilled.

I liked the hotel, went with my family, food for 3-4 / 5, they give free ice cream, juices diluted with water, alcohol, there is a free bar, the rooms are cleaned for 4/5. Overall, I liked it👍🏻
