The room in the Orchid building, on the first floor, on the ground, birds and green eucalyptus trees in the window. Cozy room, compact, excellent shower, and pressure and water. TV with a large set of channels. The Wi-Fi is great. There are also mothers with children nearby. A well-ventilated room. The linen is clean, white, and a blanket is available. There is no kettle, the hair dryer is weak. The surrounding area is in the process of being developed, nature is preserved. A dining room in two rooms of Soviet architecture. Queues, everything is simple, with a soul. Rather, it will help you go on a diet and realize your relationship with food. People are walking. The sea is at your feet, the embankment with giant eucalyptus trees nearby. The hotel is more suitable for walking than for seal recreation. In the other direction there is a market, a coffee shop with cakes, supermarkets and household shops. If there is a bridge across the city 5 km to the center, there is public transport, in the other direction there is the same distance to the local pizzeria. In general, the place is convenient for those who like to relax in the city.

A very nice hotel, a lovely room in the Orchid building.The only negative is that there are no blankets, which is good for the summer heat, but bad for spring and autumn.The girls clean the rooms very well and work hard all day long.Thanks to them.Thanks to the chefs, the food is excellent, do not expect that this is Turkey and Egypt, these are natural products and everything is homemade, the young people try to help, everything is cleaned quickly.Thanks to the girls at the reception, they solve all problems kindly.Wonderful guided tours from Biblio Globus.The hotel is under restoration after long years of downtime, well done.There's still a lot to do, but everyone's trying.We will plan a vacation in the fall and recommend this hotel to everyone.

It's a bit of a pretentious title from the song. And behind it is an all-inclusive hotel....with nuances.
On May 9, a friendly group of 13 people arrived at the aforementioned hotel in excellent spirits. The girls at the reception kindly arranged for us and invited us to get the keys after another 2 hours ... to stand in line once again and find out that our entire company was settled in different buildings, although the travel agent's application had a note about co-occupancy. Persuasion, requests, and raising the tone in the end did not lead to the desired result. The proud Abkhaz girls simply refused to serve us and threw the keys they had planned at us.
The mini-bugs available at the hotel remained at the reception, and slightly depressed guests began to disperse with suitcases to the buildings.
In the building, maids and hotel dogs were waiting for us, running like meteors, calmly walking along the corridors. Well, okay, they were friendly at the reception. We came across an updated building after the renovation, we were the first. Snow-white sheets, comfortable beds, mini-size towels, because, alas, no large ones were delivered. The lights just didn't turn on in one of the rooms and we were gone for an hour!!! Tired! They were waiting to be moved to another room. We assessed the animation level, looked for sockets together, and, lo and behold, we found 2 on the floor for the entire room and not near the bed. On the second day, the quest continued. An ironing board was set up in the hallway. There is not a single outlet in the hallway. Grey iron with the power of thought. Harry Potter is resting.
The hotel has a sanatorium feature. They extended our youth with wildly cold rooms. We huddle together to make it warmer. On the plus side, it's really very clean. But, you must admit, there are not enough advantages for so many disadvantages.
A separate line of my essay is the dining room! What kind of person doesn't like delicious food…
The hungry crawled in for lunch. But here we go into battle again. May 9th, after all. A huge number of people, lots of tables and a micro-Swedish line. There's no way to get into the cafeteria without a disinfectant. Dirty plates, even dirtier appliances, and underachieving staff. There were always not enough forks and spoons. To the question: "Where are the spoons?" The answer was: "I don't know, they were there in the evening, but I don't know where they went in the morning." There were no more questions. Thank the Creator, for 3.5 days everything was fine with our digestive tract. But to see traces of someone else's lipstick on a supposedly clean glass in a hotel that proudly calls itself "all inclusive" is such a thing.
The food is the most ordinary, the most canteen-like, but edible. Even the children found something to eat.
The bar is a separate kind - bad-tempered wine in plastic cups and the same bad-tempered, unfriendly bartenders. We opened our own mini-bar in each suitcase, which we brought from home.
We made our vacation ourselves - a friendly, cheerful company and beautiful nature. I do not recommend the hotel.

We were in the buildings of sunny beach . Of course, the sanatorium still needs to be restored, there is ruin and garbage on the territory. But, it's very big, BUT people are trying, gradually recovering, a place for those who feel good to throw a body at night and go for a walk around the city. The rooms are very nice and comfortable.(there is air conditioning, hairdryer, smart TV, dryer) Excellent dining room with a good and varied menu. A few words about the dining room separately. Beautiful building, wonderful and fast staff. Be prepared for a crowd of abnormal tourists who are ready to arrange a fatality for a sausage, although there is enough food and the buffet is being updated.
Also on the topic of dining and tourists. There are many dogs on the premises. Tourists take out food and feed these dogs. For some reason, people do not understand that food from the table can cause huge damage to animals. If you want to help, then buy a bag of good and balanced food, and do not feed the purity of your soul with anything or scraps.

The Country of the Soul hotels was in July 2024. The territory is large, there are 2 14th floor buildings and 5 3-storey buildings, a dining room, a swimming pool. The territory is well maintained, there are many beautiful trees, but landscaping continues in places, so in some places it is a mess. The rooms are clean and bright with all amenities (refrigerator, hair dryer, TV, air conditioning, iron on the floor) it is clear that there was a renovation not so long ago. There is a beach on the territory of the hotel, sun beds are free, but they may not always be enough, the sea is dirty, so we went to the embankment or Mocha beach where the water is much cleaner, but the sun beds are paid, but we lay on our blankets. There is an embankment next to the hotel, we often walked there. It takes 45 minutes to walk to the city market, you can get there by public transport prices from 15 to 30 rubles. The food is certainly not super, but you will not stay hungry, the choice is quite large, and meat and fish and chicken were all, vegetables, fruits (I had only oranges and apples) salads, soups for lunch. Of the disadvantages of nutrition, the drinks are terrible, tea and coffee are the cheapest, some kind of strange fermented compote, there was no tea and coffee for lunch at all. There are no desserts at all. There were only sweet rolls. There are a lot of people in the dining room, sometimes there may not be enough appliances, but the staff works well, they try. After lunch, the grill bar is open, where they serve French fries, chicken wing, and fruit ice for children. There is an animation program, animators for children. Drinks include beer, wine, and chacha. Wi-Fi is available in all buildings of the hotel. Overall, the hotel is not bad, I recommend it.

When choosing this hotel, you need to be prepared:
1. What is the general name of the Soul Country Hotel? It is divided into two parts (the former air defense sanatorium), where the building is Cypress and the old Sunny Beach (the former Military medical Center). They will bring you to the main entrance, and here the main thing is not to make a mistake and start moving around the abandoned territory of the Moscow Military Industrial Complex with a suitcase. The way will not be easy. Go out onto the embankment, then turn left and you can't go wrong all the way to the ruins. The building itself is new and currently undergoing repairs, so it will be difficult to relax during the day because of the noise. The building is located in the garden, but there are abandoned buildings and garbage around it, you will need to get used to it and learn how to look at the surface.
2. Upon check-in, you will be surprised by the lack of a blanket. It's still very relevant on cool days. Not enough towels. But if you can still live with this, then a bad hot water pressure on the 6th floor will become an unpleasant procedure. The hot water is intermittent and disappears abruptly. Maybe it just doesn't exist. So get ready for a contrasting shower from boiling water to ice water and back.
3. Get ready for fun starts with the hungry in the cafeteria. Therefore, it is better not to go to the opening. By the middle of lunch, the forks will be gone and you will have the opportunity to remember the childhood years when we ate only with spoons. There will also be tension with food in a large family, they do not click, so you will be content with leftovers.
4. What you will encounter after an active day at this hotel is loud noises from the cafe. Music, dancing, whistling and the whole range of vacationers there will accompany you until about 00.00, and then you can enjoy the audibility from the neighboring rooms. In general, if you close your eyes to all of the above, you can go, but I will not recommend this hotel.

We had a vacation in May 2025. We had a rest with a large family of 14 people, rooms were booked in one building. As a result, upon arrival, the organization of check-in was terrible, we were settled in different buildings, there were no towels, the TV was broken in one of the rooms, no one reacted when contacting, the air conditioner did not work in the other, as it was fresh and we rested with children in the absence of blankets they told me to turn on the air conditioner and cover myself with blankets (when the air conditioner is not working) , in another case, when opening the window, you come across some old windows that do not open, as a result, it is not possible to ventilate the room. The dining room was not provided for such a large number of visitors, and the order of visits to the dining room was set by building, and since we (a family of 14 people) were settled in different buildings, we had to eat separately, there were constantly not enough glasses to pour compote for the child or tea for ourselves, the food was generally delicious. In buildings 1 and 6, if there was an elevator, we had to wait for it for a very long time, as a result, we went down the stairs, the Internet was not designed for such a large number of visitors and there was no bar all the time.

The first line is closer to the sea in Sukhum. The buildings were repaired. The rooms are cozy and clean. But there are many buts. I cleaned the room once in 10 days, they only do it after 5 days, and the same with towels. I had to buy new ones, since beach ones are not provided. The territory is large, it is restored every day. A separate topic is the dining room, the food is ordinary, delicious. But there are more than enough people for it. The queue in the dining room for forks, trays, cups, and most importantly, food. It overshadowed the whole stay. We will never go all inclusive again, this is not for Abkhazia. And, of course, the sea. We rested with children, a large company of 20 people, swallowed water while diving, all children, without exception, experienced all the "delights" of rotovirus infection. It is a pity that there are no sewage treatment plants, so the sea is very dirty. On the plus side, there is a promenade with a bunch of cafes within 5 minutes walking distance, and there are decent establishments on the beach.

We just returned from the Soul country hotel today. Such an outrage has never been seen anywhere. We stood at the reception for almost three hours. Upon presentation of the voucher (my friends and I had a family room with two rooms located next to each other and the price was sufficient), we were scattered across the buildings and thank you for not sending. There is no politeness at all in intonation and communication with clients. During the three days of our stay, they were able to give us only two foot towels, because there were no more. There is only one kettle per floor in the hallway, no tea or coffee in the room, only two glasses. It's quite sad in the dining room. The trays are very greasy, there are not enough plates and forks at all. People are rowing!!!! I eat with my hands, because there are no spoons or tongs in salads. The food is cold, but there is a microwave and you need to stand in line for it. To take a drink, you need to stand in line for a glass again, and it's not enough. There was never any tea for dinner. There was a child with us, and when we left, they were not very polite and forced to return a piece of bread (a fine of 5,000), because the food was almost immediately sorted, but we had to go and there was no time to wait. We didn't get to the pool. The territory is good, but there are a lot of big dogs. I got a great taxi driver. I would like to wish the staff of the hotel humanity, a good cook and do not settle so many people if you can not cope! Tourists come to you with all their hearts, and what's to hide, they bring money, and you treat them like cattle! We won't go there anymore and we don't recommend it to anyone! It's a pity there are no photos, but a lot of people took pictures and were outraged.

The hotel is not bad, work is underway to improve the territory and repair buildings. Some buildings are made in the style of the "Stalinist Empire" very beautiful.
We stayed here on an excursion for one night, we liked everything. The food is delicious, the rooms are clean.
On the territory there is a swimming pool divided into two heated zones (heating is turned off at night but you can swim) next to the pool there are sun beds and a dilapidated sports ground from the Soviet era.
There is access to the beach, there are small pebbles on the beach and landscaping is necessary. There is a desire to return.

A dangerous place!

We stayed at this hotel, in a building called Sunny Beach
It was terrible, the rooms were completely renovated, there was almost never hot water, I didn't say anything about food at all, from what they gave, you could only eat buns.
It was very cold in the rooms, all the bed linen was dirty, towels with some yellow spots, they don't know what a blanket is at all.
The only advantage is that there is a beautiful embankment nearby.

There is an African-American man working at the hotel by the pool who is freely drunk and does not hesitate to walk around with a glass of cha chi. The administration throws up its hands, oh, today he got drunk, tomorrow we'll scold him.
In front of me, he insulted people, brawled, threatened, and pointed the finger. It was raining, in connection with this, he forbade swimming, as soon as the rain ended, everyone went swimming, he made a scandal, still shook his rights and did not let people swim out of principle and tk was inadequate.
The guard, an elderly man, could not do anything with him, as well as the receptionist. (they were simply afraid of him themselves) . They called their management or called for help, but nothing happened. The big guy continued to torment people and threaten them. It was scary.. The children were scared and crying. Later, he staggered off to sleep himself off.
The receptionist girl said that his relative had recently been fired also for drunkenness and for pouring beer on the head of a vacationer.
No one apologized to the guests for their behavior, foul language, and insults. I've never seen such horror, just the treacherously piggy attitude of the boarding house administration to people who pay a lot of money for a vacation.

This is a former air defense sanatorium, very well located, right on the embankment, a minute's walk from the central embankment of Sukhum. Fresh good repair, furniture, plumbing, air conditioning, TV, mini fridge, 2 elevators (this all applies to the 14-storey building, as in others I do not know). We lived on the 14th floor, the view is gorgeous! At the moment, the hotel is being promoted, it is offered at a very low price with a beautiful description – all inclusive Buffet, Lobby bar, snack bar, many services are listed, about which the hotel has no idea))) To be honest, you should write like this: three meals a day according to the type of dining room, local draft alcohol is limited, first-line accommodation, non-intrusive service. And there would be no constant swearing at the reception with tourists whose expectations the hotel did not meet.
Problems – long-term water shutdown! In our settlement, almost every day for a few hours. I'm not talking about the shower, but to wash the toilet and hands.... and how to cook without water in the dining room? Not up to staffing - our guys in 2 rooms did not praise blankets, they offered additional duvet covers or pillows))) and it was raining and it was cold at night.
- The Lobby Bar is a small room in the dining room where a boy and a girl give out wine and chacha in plastic cups (one in hand) for bottling from a bucket (I'm serious). Refrigerators with normal local bottled wine are right there, but this wine is not offered, as it must be punched in some kind of program. In five days, no one punched anything, we realized that it was for beauty. The beer is good Sukhumi, poured from a keg through a tap. Beer plastic cups ran out on the 2nd day, poured into 2 small ones))) People were outraged why they could not take 2 glasses of wine or chacha, the staff shouted that such rules, in general, condemned drinkers, drinkers complained about the rudeness of the staff of the "lobby bar" at the reception). Drinking water on the day of arrival was in the refrigerator, people in the absence of water in the hotel quickly disassembled it, no one ever gave more drinking water, even for money))) although she was standing behind the bar in packages. The staff said that they have very good water here, you can drink from the tap, we didn't dare ... cowards..
- "Restaurant" is a dining room, a large spacious hall with densely packed tables and chairs. The food is simple, delicious, table diet (stewed cabbage, beetroot, pasta, chicken, buckwheat), you will not earn extra kg, from sweet cookies or gingerbread, there was an apple once! We have never seen fresh vegetables, greens, or eggs. There was porridge, semolina with milk, not always available. I advise you to come to the beginning of the "feeding", because forks, plates, mugs, napkins are running out, but thank God the cabbage does not end! Fortunately, there are apaches nearby (these are local cafes) where we ate. But judge for yourself – being in Abkhazia and eating buckwheat and cabbage every day, washed down with a strange sweet draught wine - it's somehow not human.
- Grill bar and pool bar. The pool (heated), however, has not yet been built, respectively, as well as the grill bar))))
- "Barbecue" (fries, burgers, snacks, pizza), ice cream, cotton candy, popcorn. It should all be in the "Barbecue" according to the tour operator. On the 3rd day, our curious and greedy friend found a window on the restored territory of the hotel for the issuance of some kind of cutlets and French fries, one cutlet and 5 potatoes in one hand. The "distributor" girl received clear instructions from an experienced employee – one napkin, one cutlet and 5 potatoes! 5 no more!!!! Do you understand??? We didn't take it, in case someone didn't have enough… Pizza, cotton candy, popcorn? No, you haven't heard))))
It didn't work out briefly, memories came flooding back, please understand and forgive.

As a result, they settled in, the room is so-so. The mattress with springs in the back is not very good to sleep.

We are currently here! From August 1 to August 7, 2024 You can't call it a hotel! We plan to leave a day earlier! A two-room room, without a balcony, and the window rests against another window, an old one that was before the renovation and as such there is no ventilation! 1 building! There are no sockets, no hangers, there is one rod and one shelf in the closet, no towels, no hot water, one air conditioner, linen does not dry, there are no hooks in the bathroom, one mirror per room, which is in the bathroom, toilet paper is only on the toilet barrel! They are not cleaned at all, only garbage can be taken away and toilet paper can be given!
The sea is dirty, periodically, in places as if the keys are beating, cold! There is only one passage to the sea, it is very inconvenient!
Drinks and a snack bar are only one thing in one hand, it's a shame!
The dining room is a mess! You'll find something to eat and you won't be hungry!

The most "" hotel in my life. 4* are not even close. In all 7 days, the room has never been cleaned!they asked for it more than once, everyone agrees, but they don't do it!!!
The floor in the comfort room has not been washed since the very arrival, but it looks like a month, if not more. The dining room is disgusting, there are never any mugs. Some kind of battle must be going on forever for them. There may not be enough food either, as well as tea!
The floor in the dining room is just as dirty, all streaked, the place where compote is poured is generally trash, everything is dirty, compotes are poured straight from a bucket 🪣 yes yes !
There is no water in the room, but two empty glasses are available for some reason.
They made an application for tea in the room, no one brought it a week later.

It's a terrible place. If you want to spoil your vacation, go to the land of the soul. The territory is not well maintained, napkins and bottles are scattered everywhere. The staff is not competent.
The food is like for dogs, there are not enough cutlery.
We lived in the main building, the elevators can't cope. It takes about 15 minutes to get up/down.

Please consider the review neutral. It depends on what you came for. The first day was shockingly unpleasant. We were checked in for more than an hour, the room was changed 2 times, the commotion was a mess. As a result, they moved into the second high-rise, where unfinished repairs were still underway. We gathered our strength and decided not to spoil our vacation, because we were not going to sit in the hotel anyway. During the rest, the room was never cleaned for us. We bought the detergent ourselves, washed the room with rags. We bought a brush and toilet paper. A mirror and a TV were installed during our stay. The towels have never been changed, well we took our own with us. They drilled in the building all day long, and there's a construction site on the street, too. If you plan to spend your entire vacation at the hotel, we do not recommend it. But we walked from morning to evening, so the vacation was a success. I consider the price acceptable, especially when the renovation is completed and the rooms are completed.

The tour was sold, but the hotel was not opened😱 As a result, they settled in some kind of cage, where the suitcase would be cramped around the construction site! Tractors and bulldozers are driving!By the time you get to the dining room, you'll be covered in mud! I do not recommend this tour operator BIBLIO- GLOBUS to anyone. The hotel has 1-2 stars. We lived in August 2024 in two-room comfort, in the second building. There are no special complaints about the room, it is clean (apart from the hair from the maids) and cozy. However, they were able to bring us a towel after a week of accommodation. Right before departure) Although they came to the reception several times a day. The administrators were not even surprised, apparently this is not the first time such problems have occurred.
Nutrition is a separate sore point. We did not expect a buffet like in Turkey, so let's keep quiet about the variety and taste). I want to warn you, if you still came here, then the main purpose in the dining room is to take a table. Or you will have to walk around and wait with a tray until someone finishes eating. Or (as many did) go outside with food and eat right on the benches without a table. In short, according to the rules of the hotel, each building eats at a certain time, but the staff does not follow this and everyone runs at the same time.
Don't expect burgers, fries and cotton wool. Fries are given out in 5 pieces, the cotton candy machine breaks down every day, and the burger is buns with sausage in the middle.
Let's keep quiet about alcohol too)
Well, the main cherry of this hotel is a flowing river with a CANAL next to the hotel, flowing smoothly to the beach. If you dream of getting sick with rotovirus, then the Country of Soul hotel is the best candidate for this) During our stay, 4 families were ill with it.All the locals, including the staff, are aware of this river. They don't swim there themselves) But, of course, this is not advertised anywhere. I advise you to drive to Mocha Beach. It's worth it, cleanliness and beauty.
In general, one star is only for the most beautiful nature of Abkhazia.
