I recommend! The best hotel in old Istanbul, where human relations with visitors are above all! In Istanbul, I flew with a transfer to another country (17 hours of waiting), and it so happened that I helped three girls get from the airport to the hotel! The guys showed incredible hospitality and called, free of charge, to wait 4 hours in the hotel lobby, charge the phone, use the Internet and gave a lot of useful advice! I want to express my special gratitude to Nazim, a young guy at the reception, and of course to the hotel owner, whom, unfortunately, I couldn't get acquainted with! Guys, you are the best!
Very conveniently located.
In fact, all the main attractions are within walking distance. The room is in good condition. For the three. Breakfast from a set of obviously imported dishes. Maybe the croutons are fried themselves (at most). Although, they are only warm sometimes.
From the very opening of the breakfast (from 8-00). But, as a snack, it's quite enough in the morning. Special thanks to the staff. He is friendly, speaks Russian (it looks like Uzbekistan).
They try to resolve emerging issues to the best of their ability.
In general, for your money, a great option for settling in and a base for exploring Istanbul.
We were in Istanbul for the first time and chose a hotel based on the location and reviews of compatriots. The hotel is old, but it has everything you need. The main thing for us was the presence of Russian-speaking staff and almost everyone speaks Russian)) The staff is pleasant, friendly, everyone tries to make your stay more comfortable. We noticed that many tourists are not vacationing here for the first time. There is a small courtyard/garden where you can sit with cute kittens big and small) Sultanahmet Square is a three-minute walk away. Transfer to the airport from the hotel is cheaper than we were offered anywhere else. The breakfasts are without frills, monotonous, but we are unpretentious) everything is delicious, the main thing is to refresh yourself before walking around the city, and there you will eat Turkish delicacies in different restaurants during the day)) Among the disadvantages, we note the interruptions of hot/ cold water and the lack of towel racks. Everything you need (shampoo, gel, soap, slippers, towels) is available. The hotel is located right next to the mosque, so the call to prayer is loud enough. But on the second morning they did not wake up under it, apparently the body understood and slept soundly after walking) but the view is very beautiful from the terrace. If you want to have breakfast there in the open air, we do not recommend leaving the plates unattended while you are pouring coffee, the seagulls are very nimble. We recommend the hotel
