The dining room is large, there is air conditioning. It is very comfortable to sit on a hot day.
At lunch, the range of dishes is good, you can choose for every taste. Prices are average or slightly above average. There is ice cream on sale.
The location is convenient, in the center, 4th floor of GUM, you can take the elevator (on the opposite side of the store). You can take a break between purchases, have lunch with the children.

The Soviet canteen in its worst sense. Cheap and tasteless.
We took two side dishes (rice and boiled potatoes). The rice is boiled into porridge, the potatoes are dry and crumble by themselves.
Hot is not hot, but barely warm. Cabbage salad is more or less, but the portion is small.
The overall score is 2 points, purely for not being poisoned and relatively cheap.

It is better to take the elevator and go through the gum (by department), otherwise it will be difficult to climb to the 4th floor, you need sports health :) If you arrive before 13.10, you may not even get into a huge queue. A little later, you can get stuck for a long time, but the service is fast. I'm taking a takeaway. Convenient cardboard boxes. They always offer a bag on top to make it easier to carry. A good selection of dishes. You can always have lunch on the spot, the tables are located at a far distance from each other, which is very pleasing... No one bothers to have lunch. The tables are far from the payment and food area (a big plus). At an inexpensive price (up to 10-13p), if you take mashed potatoes, cutlets, salad or soup! After the dining room (meal) is not bad :)
