The best barbecue in New Athos, with sauce, adjika and herbs. We had lunch in this dining room for all 7 days with three children. The children were delighted with the barbecue. Delicious borscht, okroshka and kharcho. Lyulya and cutlets were not taken because the children really liked the barbecue. The owner is a very good-natured and friendly person, treats sweets, makes a discount, stands at the distribution himself. There are a lot of people at lunch because excursions are delivered to him. He is responsible for his dishes. In the morning, the children went to him for homemade sweets (baklava, tubules). I highly recommend it: delicious, safe, inexpensive. We will definitely come to Athos.

Cafe Sharatyn. We came here after visiting the cave. We ordered shish kebab, achma, borscht, lula, vegetable salad and compote. Everything is very tasty. Even the children ate everything, which is extremely rare. The staff is very pleasant.
Be sure to try the local barbecue and compote!

We rested next to this cafe. There are a lot of establishments of this kind around. But most of the time we went here. The owner is very friendly. A great guy. We constantly bought kebabs with a special sauce with coriander. Very tasty.You can take it with you. Delicious soups, trout, French fries, kebab and so on. There are really a lot of people during the day.

It's a terrible place, starting from the entrance. It smells disgusting with fat inside, it smells from the trays, I came across a spoon with the remains of someone's food. The chicken soup was made from necks, as they were the ones floating in three plates. The vermicelli is overcooked in it. Lula kebab is cold, mashed on water. It's like it's cooked for dogs. There are only three soups on the menu, shish kebab, lula and salad, there is no choice. They bring them there from excursions, people come in, grimace. I don't understand who liked it there at all.
Well, who writes that it's not expensive: for three soups, a cold kebab and three compotes, I gave 1000 rubles

I was in New Athos for the first time 8 years ago, we were in this dining room, it was very tasty)) And in the summer of 2022 she came to Athos again. And when the question arose about "where to eat", I began to look for this place from memory, "by touch", with the hope that it still works. What a relief it was when I found him! 😊 We ate everything with great pleasure, drank delicious wine - thank you very much to the friendly host, excellent wine, wonderful barbecue! We had lunch in this dining room every day. Friendly host, delicious baklava. A limited set of dishes, but nutritious, inexpensive and without consequences)) Chicken cutlets and fried trout left the best memories. Scary tables, uncomfortable benches and the lack of a toilet scare away casual visitors)))

We were given a menu with the old price for shish kebab, when it was time to pay, they say a different price, I take the menu and I think it comes out 50 rubles cheaper, I start saying that the price is different, they give us a corrected menu and it turned out that only ours shows the old price. The owner begins to say that he knows the prices here and will not cheat, but when they recalculated according to this old price tag, he reacted a little aggressively to this. As a result, we agreed that we were wrong, offered a discount for the next visit, but the sediment is unpleasant, it's better to immediately check if all prices are fixed so that there are no conflict situations.
Four for the rude attitude, the quality of the food and the price/quality ratio is excellent.
