From Tbilisi to Moscow. Companies LLC "STM", aka "STM GEORGIA", aka "STM GEORGIA".
The trip was on January 6th of this year, why is the review only now? The emotions are gone. Hands have reached, there is a mood and it is necessary to tell about such companies!
The main disadvantage is that the drivers are grown men, and they lie worse than children. It should be A SHAME!! They turned off the highway due to the fact that the transponder card ran out of money. There was an hour left before the metro closed, 40 minutes to go, they allegedly stopped for a toilet stop, the passengers went about their business, and the drivers began to ask the store guard how to leave.…To my question, what is the reason for the stop? They replied that everything was fine, so their route was going, which was a complete lie.
Minuses:
- we left 34 minutes late.
- we got up at the pass because of this, for 2 hours and 45 minutes. We didn't have time for exactly 10 minutes.
-an old, tired, dirty bus inside (The bus was a Mercedes). The seats, the upholstery, it seems to me, as the bus was released from the assembly line, they were not changed or cleaned. They certainly didn't fold out. On my side, the window was half fogged up, there was liquid inside the window.
- There was a breakdown at the inspection point of the Russian side, they tried to fix it for an hour, maybe a little more, then they looked for tire service. After the Russian border and apparently a serious breakdown, the bus was not traveling as briskly as before.
- It was very cold, the batteries were not working, and when passengers asked that people were very cold, the drivers' answer was: we are cold too.
- the charging sockets worked only for me, I was sitting on the right side, right after the second door.
Positive:
- Due to the fact that on Christmas Eve, the bus was 40% full, it was free. Wide seats, the chairs themselves and the distance between them, not a narrow aisle. I had 6 USB chargers, 4 of them worked. Infrequent stops.
And so we left on January 6 at 11:34, arrived in Moscow on January 7 at 00:49-this is when we were near the Kotelniki metro station.
P.S. Of course, I will not go with this company anymore. By the way, I was traveling to Tbilisi with Trans-Argo, unfortunately they only had a flight on January 8. The light green bus is GORGEOUS!!! The only drawback was that it was cramped and my knees rested on the chair. Everything else is GREAT.
We traveled in July from Moscow to Tbilisi and back with this company. I must say right away that for such money (6000 per ticket) everything is fine in principle (people and things were taken safely) but those who buy tickets should have no illusions. We came across a very old bus, the seats are hard, and their distance for a man of 1.80 is definitely not suitable, if you recline the back, then the person behind you will simply flatten out. There are no sockets, there is a mains filter for 5 plugs (one for all 40 people). If it says that the departure is at 9, you will leave Moscow at about 12. Even if everything is perfect at the border, you will arrive an hour or 2 later than the stated time. We also had it in the opposite direction (because the traffic jams at the entrance to Moscow are huge). Along the way, you may pick up more passengers with luggage (and this is also the time). You are unlikely to be able to eat well (well, it depends on what you are used to in life) In general, it will do for my money, but even with my small height and age of 25 ... I suffered a lot on the road... just for the sake of economy. And before the trip, I would be glad to see such a review, and not just stories about good drivers!
I want to share my impression of the journey from Tbilisi to Moscow on 08/19/2023 by flight at 11:00. Unfortunately, the mood was spoiled by negligent drivers. The interior of the bus was dirty, some seats were sticky and faulty, there was no declared Wi-Fi. In addition, there was a feeling that we, the passengers, only hindered the drivers. Any question was answered reluctantly, and sometimes they did not answer at all. A lot of time (4 hours) was lost at the border because of parcels. Stops were made randomly, as necessary: then after 1.5 hours, then after 4 hours. They were not warned about them in advance and did not say how long they would last. One stop was especially memorable, as the drivers disappeared for 1.5 hours, leaving the passengers completely bewildered. As a result, the bus arrived with a long delay from the stated time, by 6 hours. I would like to have a more responsible and attentive attitude, as one wise book says: "Not only take care of yourself, but everyone also takes care of others" (Philippians 2:4). The soul is warmed by the hope that soon the heavenly government, the Kingdom of God, will rule the earth, and all people obedient to God will live happily, as Jesus Christ taught: "In all things do unto men as you would have them do unto you" (Matthew 7:12). I want to travel with pleasure!
