A very majestic and fascinating building, now inhabited by local residents and, although strange, but quite organically integrated into the modern city. We walked along the wall along Khoja Chakir Street, the view is less pompous, but interesting. From the outside, it looks more belligerent. Unfortunately, in some places the surrounding situation is alarming, on the other hand, you feel even more strongly about the defenders of the ancient city, who stood to the death before the Ottomans.

Theodosian walls. It's not a very popular tourist destination, but it's worth paying attention to. We walked from Yedikule Castle to the walls opposite the monastery of Chora. In some places there are restored sections, in some places there are fragments of walls (but the old masonry is visible). Closer to the Yedikule Castle, there are now vegetable gardens in the place of the former moat.

It's a very beautiful place, but it's a little difficult to get up there without help. In the evening, you should not go there at all and at sunset, there are a lot of drinkers and drug addicts there, both inside and outside the building.

It was interesting to see this architectural creation in real life. Of course, without knowing the history, there is nothing to do there and the emotions are not quite the same, but fortunately this is not our case.

Very picturesque ruins, but there is a residential area around, so there is a lot of garbage and everything is filled with cars It's worth starting here Go to the Mihrimakh Mosque and along the wall to the Maly Vlacherinsky Palace Museum Beautiful, authentic, free Quest: Find the pigeon market!

I remember Prince Oleg and I stormed these walls. Nothing has changed since that time. I like it for its true historicity.

In some places, the medieval masonry has been preserved and visible, in some places it has been restored and assumed its original appearance. In one of the towers of the wall there is a museum of ceramics with viewing platforms

It's a pity that they couldn't stand it in 1453 As a tourist attraction, it's not bad, but it's better to walk from the outside.

The ancient walls that still stand. In some places they are unsightly, in some places local homeless people live in them. But it is necessary to visit this great building.

These walls, which provided the security of Istanbul from the day Istanbul was founded until 1453, are one of the places that should be visited.

Waa... This is the famous wall in the European part of Istanbul. Preserved from the time of Muhammad Fatih, the conqueror of Constantinople. In principle, the inaccessibility of the wall dates back even earlier. So make sure to include this place in the list of visited places.

For those who love ancient history-top. I recommend walking along the entire wall, visiting the palace museum on the way. I advise you to walk carefully through the gypsy quarter if you are alone.

The historical site is in terrible condition, deliberately done by the Turks to erase any mention of Constantinople

A UNESCO site that is gradually crumbling over time. Some parts have been restored, some are closer to the state of ruins.

The wall is picturesque and impressive. It's a pity they don't take care of it, complete neglect as a monument to the history of Moscow, parking is under the wall.

It would be possible to organize an excellent tourist attraction, but now the walls are collapsing, it is impossible to climb, there is an ordinary residential area around

Just a magnificent architectural landmark, we started the hike from Kennedy (Barysh Park) and finished on Fevzi Pasha Street. Despite the deplorable condition of the walls, you can feel the full power of this masterpiece. I went all the way with great pleasure. There are many vegetable gardens above the walls, many places where you can climb the walls, as well as many places (towers) which are closed or it is better not to rise, they are heavily sprinkled. At the beginning of the wall (Barysh Park), a huge number of parrots nest in the towers, very cute and beautiful birds. I strongly recommend walking along the walls for at least a couple of kilometers. The photo is not the best part of the wall, but it is beautiful.
