This memorial complex "Eternal Flame" is perfectly located on the banks of the Ural River. The place is picturesque! We lived in Uralsk, visited Victory Square. I want to believe that this place will be a place of meetings and memories of those who gave us life. In addition, the name of our relative Anton Pavlovich Olkhovik, who went missing in the battles of the Kursk region, Ponyrovsky district on 02/10/1943, is immortalized on the monument of the memorial. Sergeant Olkhovik gave his life for us and our future!
To mark the 40th anniversary of Victory in 1985, a memorial with an Eternal Flame and a stele, portraits of Heroes of the Soviet Union from Uralsk and the region and a bas-relief with a list was erected on the shore of the Urals... Eternal memory to the heroes!!!
