I had a rest in August-September 2021. A wonderful hotel, the staff speaks English, German, Russian (less often) languages.
Neat, well-groomed territory, clean swimming pools.
The food is excellent and varied, and there are good entertainment programs in the evenings.
An excellent hotel for lovers of a quiet and relaxing holiday. Lovers of drinking, carousing and hanging out - this is not a hotel for you!
1) Great room. We had exactly the one with a ceiling of 5 or 6 meters in the photo. But these are only the rooms that are on the third floor. There is so much air that we have never turned on the candles during the whole vacation. The room is spacious and clean. The balcony is more like a terrace of 9 square meters.
2) The territory is very beautiful, its own beach, two pools, a bunch of palm trees and bushes, a lawn like a carpet. The hotel itself is an island. There are the most beautiful reservoirs around.
3) Food for 5+. The breakfasts are monotonous, but of high quality. The dinners are a little more varied and of the same quality. But dinners are a bomb. It's easier to understand from the photo.
4) The service is excellent, not intrusive, but always ready to help.
5) Contingent: 80% German pensioners. 5% are other foreigners and 15% are decent Russians. There were almost no children. Peace and quiet.
5) It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the open sea from the hotel, but for the particularly lazy, the hotel staff drives up in golf cars and offers to bring them. It's free. We love to walk and have always walked with our feet on this. There is a boat with a motor. But she only takes you to the other side of the reservoir. It will not take you to the sea.
Two disadvantages: 1) In this place, I mean, there is no reef in the whole of El Gouna, and accordingly there are no fish. For many, this is important. We didn't care.
2) There is no local alcohol in the hotel for some money. If we had known in advance, we would have bought in duty free and would not have broken off.
